I AM the Football Star

”I believe San Remo has a chance; they have the pedigree to defeat strong teams!”

”I know Bayern Munich is stronger, but I have faith in San Remo!”

”No reason needed, and no reason should be given! If you’ve watched San Remo’s Champions League matches this season, you’ll know they’re a team capable of creating miracles continuously!”

”Of course, I’m supporting San Remo!”

”A mighty dragon and a brave youngster, who do you think I’d choose? Of course, I hope San Remo can become that dragon-slaying youngster!”

At the San Remo Training Ground, during rest time, many players are watching these news videos.

There’s an overwhelming amount of social media buzz.

Every player from San Remo has gained immense satisfaction from this.

Even Calafiori, the team mascot, is indulged, being very pleased by everyone’s focus on his mascot attributes.

After all, they beat Real Madrid!

Real Madrid during the Galaxy Battleship era was absolutely the most eye-catching football club on this planet, arguably without peer.

What does eliminating Real Madrid in the Champions League mean?

From an honor standpoint, the Europa League is definitely more important than defeating Real Madrid.

But in terms of influence, San Remo’s Europa League victory last year pales in comparison to beating Real Madrid now.

Especially since they did it in such a thrilling and passionate come-from-behind victory.

In that match, Camihong’s outstanding performance has made him a sensation.

What was Camihong’s position before?

He was kindly called a team-strength player.

In reality, he was just an average starter.

San Remo ranks eighth in Serie A, and their average starters are only average starters in Serie A. At a major club, he might just be at substitute level.

Such a player, previously unnoticed, had a value hard to exceed Five million euros.

But now, many strong clubs have tentatively started to offer bids for him, most of them around Ten million euros.

If San Remo is inclined to sell him, they might negotiate between 12 million to 15 million euros.

His value has skyrocketed!

Then there’s Naji, full of talent yet equally full of flaws, his progress over the years not exactly swift.

In the eyes of San Remo fans, he’s viewed as the future successor of San Remo.

In the eyes of other Serie A fans, they all think San Remo is indeed from the countryside, holding onto a lump of dung thinking it’s treasure.

Players like Naji can form a basketball team from the youth training and bench of major clubs!

In the future, at best, he’ll be at a main player level in the Five Major Leagues, close to a star, but hard to become a top star.

However, now, Naji’s value must be at least 15 million euros to even consider talks.

There’s also Fernandez, equally not worth mentioning unless it’s 12 million euros.

Of course, San Remo is likely not to let go of these three players.

Lu Yang would also advise San Remo to keep them.

Because their strength might be the future guarantee for San Remo to establish itself in Serie A.

Moreover, they possess the miracle genes of San Remo, making them the best carriers of the team’s spirit.

That’s why San Remo always pays attention to instilling their spirit, uh, strengthening their sense of ownership.

Currently, San Remo belongs to Lu Yang.

But Lu Yang is the one who conquers; in the future, it will be up to them to maintain it.

Given that even these less dazzling players have received high praise, it’s easy to imagine the evaluation of those standout players.

”It can’t go on like this.” Lu Yang found Sotu to discuss the current situation.

Sotu didn’t quite understand: ”What’s wrong? I feel everyone’s in great form. Maintaining this mindset, we can face strong opponents better. Honestly, at first, I was worried about everyone facing too much pressure.”

Lu Yang said: ”Glory retrospection is something that exhausts one’s willpower. It keeps you immersed in the achievements brought by past efforts. It’s allowed, but shouldn’t be prolonged; otherwise, you’ll get lost in the past.”

Sotu frowned.

”Or to put it in an easier way... Do you know why the most profitable methods are written in the criminal code?” Lu Yang said, ”Because the pursuit of huge profits can change one’s state of mind.”

”Once you’ve experienced making a Hundred Thousand in a month, you won’t consider jobs paying Three to Five Thousand a month. On one hand, you’ll do illegal things for huge profits.”

”On the other hand, when someone’s paying you Three to Five Thousand to work, you won’t even be motivated.”

”There’s only one Real Madrid in the world! Most opponents we face thereafter won’t have as much impact as them.”

”When players strive hard to beat opponents but find the gains are far less than playing against Real Madrid, they’ll just want to play against Real Madrid. When facing other teams, they can’t muster the motivation.”

”This isn’t completely the player’s fault, nor is it something they can control; it’s a major challenge human nature brings.”

Sotu said: ”So, what should we do? Ban them from watching?”

Lu Yang shook his head: ”That’s the idea. But practically, it requires some skill.”

”On one hand, you need to use your constant notoriety to suppress and remind everyone; on the other, you have to elevate our upcoming opponents to divert their resentment.”

”For example, let everyone vent these emotions regarding Bayern, which will benefit us in the Champions League final.”
