Ferocious Boss: Hubby, Let’s Get Married

Chapter 621: Yan Qingsi Is My Future Wife

Mrs. Yue smiled and replied, “To exchange some medicine. Why are you up so early? It’s not easy for you to get a day where you don’t have to film anything. Why didn’t you sleep longer? A woman must make sure to rest and treat herself well.”

When Yue Tingfeng brought Mrs. Yue to do her checkup and exchange medicine earlier, Yan Qingsi was still sleeping and neither of them had the heart to wake her up.

Yan Qingsi nodded. “Mm, I’ll take note.”

After all those years; after meeting so many people, Mrs. Yue was the only one who treated Yan Qingsi as an ordinary girl, giving her care and affection.

Mrs. Yue glared at Yue Tingfeng. “Tingfeng that little brat took you away last night. I was really angry.”

Yue Tingfeng huffed. “Ma, I have told you, you can’t blame me. Qingsi… she’s mine. Trying to snatch her away from me isn’t gonna do you any good. If you keep doing this… then I might as well get you an old companion.”

Mrs. Yue reached out and pinched Yue Tingfeng’s ear.

“You little brat. Say that again…”

Yan Qingsi could not help but laugh. She enjoyed times like these and cherished them dearly, afraid that such days were numbered.

She seemed to have forgotten about the movie shoot completely. Her time were spent staying at the hospital with Yue Tingfeng and Mrs. Yue, playing poker with them, watching movies, and chit-chatting. It felt quite fulfilling to live her days like that.

One afternoon, however, The Scent of Her’s director finally could not take it any more. He called Yan Qingsi and asked to meet her.

Yan Qingsi would still have to finish filming her scenes for the movie, irrespective of what might happen. The matter had dragged on for so long and she had already obtained a resounding victory. Although there were still some people who did not like her, at the very least no one would be cursing at her anymore.

To show his sincerity, the director quickly posted a blog post after calling her. In that post, he made it clear that he was too busy with the shoot and failed to clarify the situation promptly. For that, he was very sorry.

Besides, he used a strict tone to state empathically that Yan Qingsi was a dedicated professional at her job, never complaining even when she was asked to wear winter costumes during summer. She was the kind of actress who could endure hardship and was respectful toward the director and other colleagues.

He, the director, was not at liberty to comment too much on the altercation that happened between her and Zeng Yingying. People who could distinguish right from wrong would understand that completely. He also apologized to Yan Qingsi because his reasoning had caused her to suffer an undeserved backlash.

Subsequently, the official account of The Scent of Her uploaded the same blog post.

The majority of the people who were neutral and fans of Yan Qingsi did not buy the story at all. How long did it even took for them to finally realize it, and he only made a statement after that long?

Yue Tingfeng accompanied Yan Qingsi to meet the director.

Director Guo was much more courteous to Yan Qingsi at that time.

Yue Tingfeng meanwhile, looked on coldly.

Once the two of them completed the discussion on when filming could be resumed, Yue Tingfeng kissed Yan Qingsi’s face and said, “Darling, could you go there and drink some fruit juice? I’d like to have a word with Director Guo.”

Yan Qingsi smiled and got up. “Sure.”

Yue Tingfeng’s eyes trailed behind Yan Qingsi as she sat in a spot where he could easily see her. The smile on his face turned cold immediately while his expression became esoteric.

Yue Tingfeng smiled and said, “I think it’s time to tell you that Yan Qingsi is my woman. More precisely, she’s my future wife. And also, the Yue clan’s future lady boss.”

Mama Yue: “Not bad yo! My son, you look more and more handsome! You look pretty determined, so I won’t take Qingsi away from you tonight. Both of you better make babies quick!”
