Su Changxing found the Great Sect Leader of the All Beings Sect’s Foreign Religion through faith, Adis, a man with a prosthetic hand, cold as iron and blood-stained. It was clear that his hands were covered in blood.

More importantly, Adis’s aura made him feel surprised, similar to a demon, but not a demon species himself, as if he had been tainted with the power of chaos in some way.

Such a person turned out to be the Great Sect Leader of the All Beings Sect’s Foreign Religion!

Su Changxing could imagine what the entire Foreign Religion was like. No wonder the faith passed on was so chaotic and mad.

”What’s the situation now?”

A voice from the void.

Adis’s expression changed, and he immediately knelt on the ground, facing Maelon, and said:

”The main force of the church army has already been defeated by us. Victory is only a matter of time, and your glory will eventually shine on this land!”

Adis and Mike’s reactions were completely different, as if they had previously been in contact.

Su Changxing straightforwardly asked: ”What was the instruction I gave you last time!”

He was the Divine Spirit of the All Beings Sect, and there’s no need to hide anything.

Adis did not feel any doubt about Su Changxing’s question either and said: ”You asked me to clear away all the sects in the Wodan Empire, except for the All Beings Sect, so that your faith spread throughout this nation.”

He definitely never said such words, nor had he directly communicated with Adis, so who exactly was impersonating him, and Adis seemed unable to distinguish the difference.

He did not stop Adis from continuing to purge other churches. It was a battle for faith, and he would never hand over the faith that was within his grasp.

Obviously, there must be Divine Spirits standing behind those churches. From another perspective, it also confirmed that other Divine Spirits found it difficult to directly intervene in this world. They could only influence indirectly; otherwise, the All Beings Sect couldn’t possibly fight against the church’s allied army with its own strength.

”Which direction should we proceed?” Jin looked at the vast ocean and asked.

This was an unfamiliar place, and they did not have a map; they could only aim in some general direction.

However, Su Changxing could perceive where faith was spreading, and at the same time, a large amount of residual faith in this world continuously surged toward him.

Gradually, what used to be a clear sky turned gloomy as large masses of dark clouds gathered in the sky above. The air became oppressive, and the sea was eerily calm.

Here it comes again.

Su Changxing remembered how it seemed targeted every time he went to sea, always encountering rare storms.

Jin looked up at the sky and sensed something amiss: ”The weather’s changing fast. Is it always like this at sea?”

Sean remained indifferent, thinking that following Su Changxing would expose him to all kinds of events, none too odd, just a change in weather, a minor thing. ”Indeed, the weather changes easily at sea; water vapor rapidly accumulates in the sky.”

A reasonable explanation.

Su Changxing stood at the bow of the ship, slowly expanding his perception to cover the sea, trying to see what was causing the influence.

Perhaps it was some unknown entity, or perhaps... a Divine Spirit.

Fierce winds whipped sea water against the small, unremarkable iron ship, wave after wave attempting to overturn the vessel.

Seeing this scene, Jin instead became excited, smiling as she accelerated the speed of the iron ship under her control, steering through the waves. Several times it seemed like the ship would be overturned by the waves, yet she managed to pull it back each time.

Sean felt as if he was suffering from motion sickness, his stomach rolling over, raindrops covering his glasses, his face looking very sickly, hands tightly gripping the edge of the boat, afraid of accidentally falling overboard. ”Aren’t we going a bit too fast? The wind and waves are quite strong right now.”

”I can go even faster!” Jin shouted loudly, clearly misunderstanding Sean’s meaning.

The iron ship climbed up the wave’s crest like a crawler, flipping over, getting submerged by the wave, then emerging back on the surface.

Su Changxing detected something amiss and saw eyes peeking through the void, but they vanished in an instant. The entity seemed to notice and immediately disappeared; the winds and waves on the sea quickly calmed down, and the weather turned bright as well.

Sean came to his senses, looked around at the environment, sunlight shining on his face, showing a surprised expression: ”The winds and waves have vanished? Is someone secretly manipulating them?”

Su Changxing nodded: ”It seems so, some ability to control the sea, but that’s probably it, no more than that.”

Jin disdainfully added: ”Indeed, no more than that.”

Sean dry-heaved: ”······ I feel a bit seasick.”

The remainder of the journey was calm and smooth, and under Jin’s full control, they quickly approached the faith’s source. By dusk, they saw the coast, faintly discernible ships docked, steam rising in abundance.

This place did not belong to the territory of the Wodan Empire, yet the faith of the All Beings Sect existed here, with a modest church and a fair number of believers in the city.

They disembarked stealthily under the cover of darkness from the coast, unnoticed. The whole city was in a state of peace and relaxation, security forces were relatively lax.

They found a hotel near the city’s edge to stay, the owner a scruffy middle-aged man holding a bottle of rum, cheeks flushed.

”This is the currency of the Wodan Empire.” He noticed the gold coins that Su Changxing handed over, couldn’t help but glance at the three again, dressed peculiarly.

Su Changxing nodded and asked: ”Can’t use them here?”

The owner shook his head: ”No, of course you can. It’s just that I’ve heard the Wodan Empire has sealed off the sea, prohibiting entry and exit, so there are few people coming from there.”

”Are you folks coming from Maelon? These coins are unique to there, very valuable. Maelon is a magical place, a lot of people here want to visit.”

”How many rooms?”

Su Changxing hadn’t spoken yet when Jin held up two fingers: ”Two rooms, with a sea view.”
