Global Game: I Have Portable Store

Dale hesitated for a moment and said, “Everything is ready, but we haven’t started. We don’t know the exact requirements for the church and the statue. If there were specific drawings, that would be even better.”

This indeed stumped Linda. She had seen the statues, there was one in Viduo City, but building such a large statue would probably take quite some time.

As for the church, she had no idea; Viduo City didn’t have a church, only a simple statue.

In her mind, Linda called out to the Divine Spirit, “Divine Spirit, do you have any requirements for the statue? Does it need to be as big as the one in Viduo City? Or could it be smaller… or perhaps is there a similar free statue, like one falling from the sky…”

“Additionally, we are planning to build a church in Luo Han. Do you have any requirements for the church?”

Su Changxing naturally heard Linda’s voice, fell into a brief silence, thinking that this Saintess lacked initiative, but he still said, “Just leave a large enough open space in the city.”

“So how large exactly?” Linda asked.

“About ten to twenty thousand square meters would do,” Su Changxing replied casually, thinking that such a church was probably the minimum size; in Maelon, the church nearly occupied half the city.

Linda raised her eyebrow, “Ten to twenty thousand?”

“Yes, go ahead and prepare,” Su Changxing affirmed confidently.

In his experience, rather than building many small churches, it’s better to establish one large church in the city, which can gather faith more quickly and envelop the entire city, allowing believers to pray without having to come to the church.

A sufficiently large church is very necessary.

…

Dale saw Linda dazing, her eyes flickering with white light, suspecting the Saintess was communicating with the divine, cautiously asked, “Is there any issue, Saintess?”

Linda looked at him and calmly said, “Right now, we first need to reserve a large enough open space in the city.”

“Then how large is needed?” Dale asked.

Linda replied with certainty, “Not too large, ten to twenty thousand square meters will do, preferably close to the city center.”

Ten to twenty thousand square meters?

If it’s to build a church, that would be quite large.

Dale thought for a moment and said, “Luo Han is an old city, there isn’t that much open space, but we can tear down some old houses in the West City and relocate the civilians inside to other areas.”

Linda nodded, “Then let’s do that, knock down the houses to reserve enough open space.”

Dale still had some doubts, saying, “Such a large church would likely take a lot of time to build. I’ve seen some ancient church records where they are extremely exquisite…”

The Demon Race’s army is imminent. Clearly, they don’t have that much time; if they build a small church, they might still make it in time.

Linda shook her head, with a mysterious look said, “Just take people to do it, don’t worry about the rest, I’ll go organize the civilians and prepare for the baptismal oath later.”

Dale raised an eyebrow, looking at Linda’s departing figure, and muttered, “Could it be that the church doesn’t need a church or statue to recruit believers? This is somewhat different from what’s recorded.”

His understanding of the ancient church records was also superficial, a lot of information is fragmented, many records of ancient history have not been preserved, and it is unknown why they disappeared.

Meanwhile.

An enormous and grand church appeared above the Pocket Galaxy, its facade composed of several intersecting doors, with a large dome and a small round base stacked at the top, surrounded by statues with peculiar designs, like little elves.

There are bell towers, a plaza, and a magnificent statue.

Su Changxing, like assembling a puzzle, constructed a large-scale church in the upper realm of the Pocket Galaxy.

This will also be Luo Han’s future church.

“It should be about right,”

Su Changxing admired his masterpiece, feeling quite satisfied; he constructed a large framework, while the details formed on their own under the guidance of faith. As for that statue, it was completely different from the one in Viduo City, holding a revolver, wearing a trench coat and a mask, its visage obscured.

Yet mysteriously, people could recognize that both statues referred to the same divine spirit, probably due to a similar inner essence.

After he constructed the church, the clearing work below was not yet complete; they had just demolished a section of old houses, clearing the debris, and the craftsmen originally prepared to build the church had become cleanup workers, transporting the rubble back and forth.

With the help of mages, their efficiency was quite high; within less than an hour, they had cleared a large area of open space.

Many citizens gathered around, wanting to see what was happening, curious about what the divine spirit and the church were all about.

Dale turned to Linda who was walking over and said, “The clearing work is complete, an open space of about 30,000 square meters is now available.”

Linda nodded, looking up at the sky, where the stars shimmered incessantly.

Dale also looked up to the sky, asking, “Saintess, is there something up there? A demon?”

He was quite vigilant; flying demons often attacked the city, and although there were mages stationed there, lapses occasionally occurred.

Linda shook her head and said seriously, “No, the church should arrive soon.”

Dale was puzzled, continued staring at the sky, “Church, what church, could it be that a church will fall from the sky?”

Linda turned her head to look at him, “What else?”

“Huh?” Dale didn’t understand for a moment what Linda was saying, thinking she was joking.

Soon, a black dot appeared in the starry sky, then continued to grow, rapidly expanding, casting shadows over them.

It seemed to be a church!!

Dale was shocked, hurriedly retreated, afraid that this falling church would crush him, and others also exclaimed and ran back.

Only Linda, along with the faithful and mages she had brought, stood calmly in place.

“Run away!”

“There’s a church falling from the sky!”

“Avoid it, avoid it, what are you all doing just standing there!”

“…”

Suddenly, the crowd watching from around also panicked and began to back away.

Who would have thought the divine spirit would throw down such a massive church directly from the sky, it was rather rough.

Such a large church falling from the sky, even standing near it would be dangerous, as flying debris could easily pierce a human body.

The magnificent church landed steadily on the open ground, perfectly aligned, with no collision, without even a sound, like a feather lightly falling to the ground, seamlessly fitting together with the ground, as if it had always been there, newly built.

People who witnessed this scene were all incredibly astonished, perhaps beginning to understand what it meant to be a god, the omnipotent one!

Dale’s gaze towards Linda completely changed; this was entirely different from what he imagined, thinking the divine could only pass some messages through Linda, never expecting them to interfere with reality so effortlessly.

If the divine wanted, couldn’t they just crush all of Luo Han with a slap, leveling it to the ground?

Linda led her people into the church, to observe this magnificent entity that descended from the sky, also to familiarize themselves with the environment, since they would be working here in the future.

“The statue’s appearance is completely different from Viduo City’s,” Roy, an apprentice, immediately noticed, feeling a bit strange.

Linda slapped him on the head:

“Don’t stare directly at the statue, it’s disrespectful.”

“The appearance of the divine is ever-changing, this is normal, don’t observe the Divine Spirit from a human perspective.”
