”Are you the Saintess of the All Beings Sect?”

”Yes,” Linda replied instinctively.

”Not a very qualified believer, huh.” Su Changxing couldn’t help but comment, sensing that Linda could only be considered a shallow believer. As a mage, her willpower was strong, and her spirit resilient, not easily swayed by divine spirits like ordinary people.

However, such mages can provide more faith, belonging to a type that is challenging to conquer but equally rewarding.

Having Linda as the Saintess was the best option available, at least she was a trustworthy person according to Takka. Besides, there weren’t any other mature believers, as the All Beings Sect had just appeared on this pure land.

Linda thought it was the divine spirit’s dissatisfaction with her, feeling a bit uneasy, she quickly said, ”I will work hard, I will strive to become a qualified believer!”

”...” Su Changxing was silent for a moment, finding this Saintess a bit foolish, but it’s not that important:

”You are the Saintess of the All Beings Sect, not just a believer.”

Linda bowed her head again, saying, ”I will strive to become a qualified Saintess.”

OK.

She seemed even less smart.

”Your task is to build the church, guide more people to become believers, and spread the faith of the All Beings Sect throughout the Empire,” Su Changxing said in detail, feeling a bit uneasy about this not-so-smart Saintess.

That’s all we can do at this point.

Linda nodded heavily, ”No problem, build the church, recruit believers, expand!”

Su Changxing looked at her and thought that, being less smart, she might be more accepting of the faith. For the church, loyalty is more important than intelligence. ”Any other questions? You can ask directly.”

Linda hesitated a bit, glanced at her white church attire, and said hesitantly, ”As a Saintess, shouldn’t my attire be slightly different from others, or have some special features?”

Although it’s a question, the focus seems a bit off.

Su Changxing was silent again for a moment, ”Also.”

Following that, Linda felt shadow-covered, looked up, and was smacked in the face by a falling garment, landing on the ground.

Pa~

Even a mage doesn’t need much strength, but she indeed had quite little strength.

”...”

Linda pulled the garment off, struggled to sit up from the ground, maintained a kneeling posture, looked down at the church attire in her hands, and showed a smile. It was more exquisite and beautiful than expected.

Takka watched this scene from the side, completely clueless about what this disciple was discussing with the divine spirit, suddenly a garment came drifting down from the sky, smacked her on the head, it looked like she had angered the divine spirit and received a slight punishment.

He began to suspect whether it was right to let Linda act as the Saintess. What if instead of being wiped out by the Demon Race, they got annihilated by divine wrath...

Thinking of this, he couldn’t help but scratch his rear head, suddenly recalling many unreliable traits of Linda.

”She should be able to... Should be able to.” Takka intimidated himself.

The Saintess’s uniform was designed and manufactured in an instant after finishing the talk, all to fulfill this unreliable Saintess’s little wish.

The Saintess changed into her exclusive church attire, a black-trimmed dress with a light blue collar, feeling somewhat odd wearing it: ”The upper half is quite fitting, isn’t the lower half too short?”

The skirt reached only to her knees.

Takka saw his disciple’s appearance after changing outfits and raised an eyebrow, feeling the church attire was somehow ”novel,” entirely different from what was recorded.

Linda always felt the outfit was somewhat odd, venting to her teacher, ”Seems like the divine spirit doesn’t know my size, it’s not fitting well.”

Takka retorted, ”There’s no way the divine spirit wouldn’t know your size, it’s supposed to be like this, you just need to adapt. It looks... quite good.”

Linda raised her head sharply and asked, ”Really?”

Takka slapped her head, ”Does it matter?”

The Saintess whined, ”Not really...”

Soon.

The Saintess of the All Beings Sect led a group of rather flimsy believers, some mages, and a team of soldiers serving as guards, carrying the divine spirit’s expectations and her teacher’s earnest teachings, embarked on the journey to the Imperial Capital.

Before Linda could reach the Imperial Capital, they received the news that the capital had already allowed the All Beings Sect to become the Empire’s national religion.

”This makes things much easier.” Linda relaxed upon hearing this, feeling the weight on her shoulders reduced by half. She’s not good at convincing others, let alone the Emperor and ministers.

Nevertheless, she still resolutely headed towards the Imperial Capital, because the divine spirit said the church must be built in the capital first.

Since they’re using the Teleportation Array, it won’t take too long, about half a day to arrive, passing through the major river that bisects the capital.

Su Changxing occasionally kept an eye on the situation here, as she was the first Saintess of the All Beings Sect in this world, an important first step.

He just took a look, not expecting any real mishap to happen.

Linda and her party had just come ashore when they saw the distant woods shaking continuously, with dense hoofbeats approaching.

At first, she didn’t pay too much attention, thinking perhaps someone was coming to welcome them, as they were only a few dozen miles from the capital, already very close.
