Global Game: I Have Portable Store

Roy’s head was smacked, yet he remained expressionless, his demeanor unchanged. He had long been accustomed to such treatment. A few years ago, it was their teacher smacking Linda, and Linda would turn around and smack him, while he could only endure silently.

He had always been waiting to see if any juniors could smack him, but after years, he realized that Takka didn’t take on disciples. He would be the last one.

This was a despairing thought.

Roy rubbed his head emotionlessly and said, ”Do you think this might be what the God looks like at different times? Are Divine Spirits born as Divine Spirits?”

Linda felt a bit of a headache, believing this junior brother completely lacked awe of the Divine Spirits, and wondered what to do if he angered the God. She showed a serious expression and smacked his head again, responding, ”I don’t know. Don’t ask about such things in the future.”

Roy rubbed his head emotionlessly: ”Got it.”

Upon entering the church.

Everyone fell completely silent, with only the sound of footsteps and soft breaths, afraid of disrupting the tranquil and solemn atmosphere inside the church. Only Linda, the Saintess, spoke with a slightly louder voice.

Linda led everyone in a prayer before the statue, reciting the teachings of the All Beings Sect, her voice echoing clearly in the large church.

At that moment.

Everyone felt relaxed and comfortable, their minds completely at ease, free from any worries, as if their souls had found a home.

Humans are a species that can easily develop a sense of dependence.

After completing the prayer, Linda began the recruitment of followers, organizing the city’s civilians into a line to orderly enter the church for the baptism ceremony.

This was to resist the Demon Race’s army attack; everyone had to contribute their faith. It wasn’t entirely voluntary, but if one truly didn’t wish to come, they wouldn’t be forced.

This was the National Religion, recognized by the Empire, making it quite straightforward to gain a batch of initial followers.

Of course.

Most people initially were nominal believers, but over time they would be subconsciously influenced, gradually deepening their faith in the Divine Spirits.

Such changes were almost imperceptible to them and involved a rather natural process.

However, there is a small group of people that are different. From the very beginning, they are devout followers, naturally suited to the faith of the All Beings Sect.

These people are rare, perhaps only a handful among thousands, and they would be chosen as the backbone of the church, undertaking basic Divine Position work, further expanding faith in this city.

Aside from the grand cathedral, small churches would be constructed in different zones later. This is also a method to stabilize faith.

But that’s a topic for another time.

As more people in Luohan City become followers, a large amount of faith continues to gather and fill the Pocket Galaxy.

Su Changxing can distinctly feel the changes in the Pocket Galaxy, being activated little by little by faith. Even if it were to gain consciousness and begin to speak next moment, he wouldn’t be surprised.

Simultaneously.

A chapel belonging to Viduo City has been completed; it was tossed down from the sky, standing beside the statue.

Takka watched as the chapel fell from the sky; despite having seen similar scenes before, he couldn’t help but marvel, ”Such great power is beyond the reach of mages!”

If it were merely terrifying power, he wouldn’t be surprised. Theoretically, a mage’s power can also grow infinitely, to the point where long ago they believed that with magic’s power, humans could rival Divine Spirits.

Yet such creativity was truly unimaginable, no wonder some ancient records say Divine Spirits created this world, currently it indeed seems so.

...

Late night, clouds shrouded the stars in the sky, and the moonlight appeared dim, inducing drowsiness.

The Prime Minister and Magic Consultant Lune once again found the Emperor in that small yet luxurious room; only the three of them were present, allowing for frank discussion. The Emperor enjoyed this way.

The Prime Minister displayed a serious expression, reporting his latest intelligence: ”I just received urgent news from Luo Han, a letter personally written by the City Lord Dale, stating that the chapel has been constructed and further recruitment of followers has begun!”

The chapel has been constructed!!

The Emperor and Lune were shocked; just a few hours have passed, and the chapel is already completed?

Lune displayed dissatisfaction saying: ”Prime Minister, this is not a place for joking. They’ve just arrived, right? How could they possibly complete the chapel now.”

The Emperor didn’t believe the Prime Minister would joke, as he wasn’t one to joke, asking seriously: ”Could it be they only constructed a very simple chapel to begin recruiting followers? This might also be a feasible approach.”

The Prime Minister shook his head: ”They constructed a large chapel, twenty thousand square meters.”

Lune paused, speaking bluntly: ”Impossible?”

In fact, the Prime Minister still hadn’t recovered, taking a deep breath and saying:

”The power of Divine Spirits is even greater than we imagined, capable of easily interfering with our reality. That chapel fell from the sky, appearing out of nowhere in Luohan City, countless people witnessed it.”

”Even the people of Wumeng City next door saw it, that chapel dropping into Luohan City like a meteor.”
