Global Game: I Have Portable Store

The long hair on the demon completely turned into a paste-like consistency, appearing as a viscous liquid. It lay entirely on the ground, emitting a howl resembling a monkey’s sly laugh.

Most of the rune warriors gathered from various parts of West City were already damaged. The remaining ones continued their relentless attacks on the demon, occasionally causing explosions around the building, sending dust flying everywhere.

Su Changxing observed the layout on the field. Although more than half of the rune warriors were lost, the demon’s status was even more dismal, unable to split into smaller black creatures anymore.

He collected all the overlooked demon’s blood nearby, approximately over 9000 drops.

These blood droplets coalesced into a smaller demon within the Pocket Galaxy.

Truly terrifying.

This demon seemed to have the ability to regenerate from a single drop of blood. As long as one drop survived independently, it could form a new demon.

Unfortunately, in this world, demons have no space for survival. Once exposed, it’s only a matter of time before they die.

He could roughly understand why Karis would place such a powerful demon in this world.

The outbreak of the plague in Maelon’s West City was the first step in Karis’s plan, which aimed to create a desperate environment.

Only in despair would humans contribute all their faith, and only after complete despair would they place their final hope in the void of the divine spirit.

And the city massacre was Eric’s method of confrontation, eradicating everyone in West City, naturally leaving no one to collect faith from, with the sheep all dead, where would the wool come from?

The second step was to establish the Rat God Cult among the survivors in West City, collecting faith, and the faith from the desperate is often most valuable.

The third step was to use this faith to create a unique space existing within this world but different from this world within the gathering of dust.

Continuously expanding the range covered by this space with faith and then using the demon’s powerful abilities to seize Maelon, completely transforming Maelon into his land of faith, harvesting faith endlessly.

However, because of Su Changxing’s appearance, a problem arose in the second step of this plan; half of the Ratman Statues were unexpectedly taken by a mortal, and she could no longer sense the presence of that half of the Ratman Statues.

Things were at a standstill. Without enough faith, she couldn’t expand the internal space within the building, and even that demon could only curl up in the elevator.

”As a divine spirit, you can’t be this petty, right?”

Su Changxing mused, thinking that Karis had lost control over the Ratman Statues and had no means against him.

After completing the collection of demon’s blood, Su Changxing hid on the top floor of a still-standing building amidst the ruins, quietly observing the situation.

He needed to ensure the demon’s status had really dropped to a point where it couldn’t harm him before taking action. It seemed that now the demon indeed couldn’t strike back, forced into a passive position against the rune warriors’ attacks.

Something seemed off.

He felt the demon had been keeping an eye on him, attacking him frantically when he had jumped down from the building just earlier, which revealed its intentions.

In this way, more than ten minutes passed, and another batch of new rune warriors emerged from East City to encircle and slay this demon.

This batch of rune warriors was larger in size, with small cannons mounted on their shoulders, possessing great power, capable of easily collapsing an entire building in one shot.

Just as Su Changxing thought the demon was failing, more small black creatures crawled out from the demon and lunged at the rune warriors.

”So it was pretending all along, it really had been watching me, wanting to trick me into getting close.”

Su Changxing sneered, realizing that the demon had likely received orders from Karis to kill him.

”It appears your mission cannot be completed.”

He was not in a rush; his promotion task was just one bone and one piece of flesh short, which could wait until the demon was nearly dead to approach.

This batch of rune warriors was evidently much stronger, offering more resistance against those small black creatures and even able to fight back.

Su Changxing also considered this an opportunity; this batch of rune warriors was likely most of the rune warriors from East City. If he could eliminate them, it would make taking Maelon much easier.

”If this continues, there will inevitably be a large number of rune warriors left; Eric will not give up on the demon’s corpse.”

”I still have to rely on myself. No matter how powerful this demon is, it won’t surpass the Buddha of the Land of Slaughter.”

Su Changxing’s eyes emitted a faint green light. With a soft snap of his left fingers, a ray of ethereal green light spread through the dust and vanished, as if nothing had happened.

Subsequently, some radiating green luminescent substances appeared on the demon’s body, spreading over its arms like moss.

”You should perish!”

The demon finally uttered words he could understand, clearly identifying his position, and small black demons began emerging and charging towards him.

Not only did the demon, but even those rune warriors also had some green, moss-like luminescence appearing on them.

They cannot be considered purely mechanical beings; their bodies preserve organic matter separated from humans, serving as the control center and also where the weaknesses lie.

In this world without computers, Eric used the human brain as the system for Rune Warriors, and with the aid of runes, succeeded.

Compared to T3 robots, Rune Warriors are more like a twisted product of the era, neither an objective ordinary world nor a completely mysterious world.

The plague is breeding massively in West City.

It spreads over houses, on the ground, and in the air.

Su Changxing can easily transform this plague into his own, and then quickly propagate this transformation.

The few small black creatures rushing towards him, infected by the plague, slowed down with a green glow on their bodies.

These creatures’ defense capabilities are far inferior to those of Rune Warriors, making them easier for Su Changxing to deal with.

As they approached, he stood upstairs using firearms to shoot, scattering one of the leading small creatures with just two consecutive shots, causing the body to explode and drop a pile of intestine-like innards.

Twenty or so creatures successively came running toward him.

As they got closer, he shattered them one by one with the revolver, turning them into piles of rotten innards, left behind on the street, looking extremely disgusting.

On the other side of the demon’s body, the Rune Warriors sensed the commotion over here but could not spare any attention.

Even in such a state, this demon is an extremely terrifying presence.

However, the tactics of those Rune Warriors have changed from earlier, focusing on dragging time rather than direct confrontation.

They also knew that as long as they bought enough time, this demon would undoubtedly die, without the need to exhaust their minds fighting it head-on.

After Su Changxing dealt with the charging small demons, he moved towards the demon following their direction, a dark green vertical eye appearing on his forehead, fixedly staring at the demon’s body.

Yet he found that the domain rules that deepened damage had no effect on this demon.

Meanwhile.

He threw out the red scythe and released Tao Yi, letting her deal with the Rune Warriors over there.

Su Changxing quickly arrived beside the demon’s body, aimed the revolver at the thigh area, and fired.

Hundredfold ”Concentrating.”

Accompanied by the booming gunshot, the explosive bullet hit the demon’s surface, blasting out a large blossoming of blood.

But only blood burst out from the monster.

To extract flesh and bones from this demon, some strong measures need to be used, otherwise waiting longer might result in the demon being decomposed by the world.

He then used his only weapon enhancement on the revolver.

Although the weapon Wolf Fang wasn’t high quality, its craftsmanship was excellent, with great power and fairly decent additional features.

Although he could make a mysterious item, he couldn’t enhance a weapon; this involves more complex operations.

Wolf Fang is restricted in this world, not just by the rules but also due to its low grade.

The enhanced silver long-barreled revolver had some meticulous rune patterns etched on it, looking elegant and exquisite, seamlessly blending with the whole firearm, seemingly not engraved later.

”The Doomsday Game enhancement also uses rune patterns, fairly legit, rather than some direct enhancement or such mysticism.”

He glanced at the revolver in his hand, then aimed at the demon’s thigh again and pulled the trigger.
