Global Game: I Have Portable Store

Su Changxing sat down on the chair on the balcony, looking at the bright lights on the street, and said, ”You can leave first, I’m preparing to rest, I might leave tomorrow.”

Luozhu nodded, took a few steps back with the plate, then turned around and said, ”That...”

”What’s wrong?” Su Changxing held his wine glass, took another sip, and noticed her unusual behavior, so he asked.

At this moment, Luozhu’s face was flushed, and she softly said, ”Does the lord need someone to sleep with?”

”Hmm?” Su Changxing immediately noticed the lewd thoughts in her eyes, and determined that this seemingly cold woman was a wasteful maid with a mind full of dirty thoughts, and righteously refused, ”No need!”

Luozhu pouted, showing a bit of disappointment, thinking it was because her body was incomplete that the City Lord was not interested... Alas, seems like she needs to try harder.

After the wasteful maid with a mind full of dirty thoughts left, Su Changxing put down the wine glass, took out the Clown Mask and put it on, then jumped off the balcony.

...

Not long after, there was a knock on the door again from outside.

”City Lord?”

Luozhu stood outside the door, clamping her legs together, her face flushed red as she looked at her revealing clothes, exposing large areas of fair skin.

She took a deep breath, ”City Lord?”

”Lord?”

”Sigh, where is he?”

She slowly pushed the door open, only to find the room empty with no one inside.

”Gone, gone?”

She looked dull, unable to believe that the City Lord whom she was eagerly awaiting just a moment ago had already left upon meeting her.

She glanced at her clothes again, then clacked back quickly in her high heels.

Su Changxing stretched his head with the Clown Mask from outside the balcony, looked at the closed door, and muttered, ”As expected, she’s a wasteful maid with a mind full of dirty thoughts.”

Then.

He slid down along the edge of the balcony, relying on his wristband to know the movements within the City Lord’s Mansion, skillfully avoiding all the robots and silently leaving.

...

The street was bustling with people coming and going, some were dancing peculiar dances in the square, attracting many onlookers.

Others were setting up platforms by the street for fights, and the people below seemed more intense than those on the platforms.

Just because most spectators had bet a considerable amount of Points on the players they deemed victorious.

Su Changxing didn’t linger at all and walked along the street towards the city gate.

Such attire was not strange in this peculiar city, and it seemed no one paid special attention to him.

The streets were full of people wearing Clown Masks; ever since Su Changxing won first place in the Slaughter Game, this kind of mask became popular.

He couldn’t return directly from here, but had to go to a designated spot outside the main city, probably where new players logged into this dimension.

He was being so cautious to prevent someone from blocking him at the city gate.

Perhaps no one could have imagined that he would leave Thundercloud City at this time, some might even guess that Su Changxing could be the next City Lord.

The two statues at the city gate saw him coming out, nodded slightly in respect, then watched Su Changxing leave.

Once outside the city, Su Changxing dashed into the forest, running at top speed towards the designated spot.

Seeing no monks after exiting the city, he thought everything was secure, believing if they intended to block him, it would surely be at the city gate.

Halfway through, he suddenly saw Buddha Light filling the sky, causing his heart to sink.

”You can still find me? You really are persistent old baldies,” he cursed, knowing that the old monk had come.

Suddenly.

The Abbot of Magpie Mountain Temple appeared in the distant forest, slowly approaching him, as if he had foreseen Su Changxing would be there.

Su Changxing knew there must have been some oversight, or how else could the other side have stumbled upon him here, it was too strange.

The old monk smiled, ”Benefactor, I said we are destined.”

”Destined my ass.”

Recollecting the events that had transpired, Su Changxing realized, ”Seems like someone tipped you off, someone from the City Lord’s Mansion?”

In his mind appeared the image of the ludicrously dressed Han Yiming.

The old monk chuckled without speaking, his body suddenly expanded, and hundreds of mechanical arms appeared in the surrounding space, pressing down menacingly,

”You have the Buddha Son’s Buddhist Beads, it’s clear you killed him. We could have cooperated, but you refuse to see the light.”

Su Changxing’s expression remained unchanged, and he roughly slid a hand along the Buddhist Beads at his waist, Buddha Light also shined in his eyes.

This took the old monk by surprise, ”You? How is this possible?”

Seeing the abundant Buddha Nature in Su Changxing, his mind was thrown into chaos, never expecting an outsider like Su Changxing to possess Buddha Nature.

Su Changxing smirked, ”Is there a possibility that I’m also a bald monk?”

”You’re a ghost!”

The old monk’s face darkened, no longer exchanging words with Su Changxing, he launched an attack, countless mechanical arms swung at Su Changxing’s position.

This time, having learned from experience, he knew Su Changxing’s evasion tactics, thus the attack covered a wider area.

”Do you know what a Buddha is?”

Su Changxing placed one hand on his chest in a meditative gesture, a Golden Body Ancient Buddha rose slowly behind him, with eight heads and thirty-six arms, each head compassionate yet solemn.

This was his inner Buddha.

To the monk, Buddha seemed like a versatile concept, whatever the heart perceives, that is what one sees.

The old monk’s expression turned grim, trembling in his heart, the purity of Su Changxing’s Buddha Nature exceeded his imagination, as if facing a real Buddha.

The Ancient Buddha extended each arm, swinging forward to clash with the mechanical arms, though not equal in number, it was not at a disadvantage.

Su Changxing looked at the old monk, showing a relaxed smile on his face, the Buddha Light around him grew brighter, even pressing against the other side.

He was stealing the old monk’s Buddha Nature, merging it into his own, to strengthen it.

Buddha Nature is a peculiar existence, not exactly an actual energy, more like an understanding of Buddha, a fixation.

Yet this fixation can trigger immense energy.

”What do you think, merely donning a robe, holding Buddhist Beads, and shaving your head makes you a Buddha?”

Su Changxing spoke with vigor and calmness, completely overwhelming the old monk in terms of momentum.

In truth, his strength was far less than the old monk’s, yet with a more pure Buddha Nature, he stood his ground against him.

This thoroughly enraged the old monk, unable to bear Su Changxing possessing such pure Buddha Nature, ”Why!”

He roared in fury.

Numerous lasers shot towards Su Changxing, slicing through the Golden Body of the Ancient Buddha.

Su Changxing did not choose to evade, instead set up his sniper rifle, pulling the trigger towards the old monk.
