Child of Destiny

Hidden within the depths of the Poison Fog, Lawrence regulated his breathing while starting to chant a series of magical spells to enhance his overall powers.

The series of buffs that he had cast on himself skyrocketed his overall stats, particularly his magic powers that directly affected his poison abilities.

At the same time, he also activated the current abilities of his Toxin Devil and the Gu residing within his body, further enhancing his overall capabilities.

A moment later, he lifted the grimoire up and let it float above him while he was waving his hands as if he were conducting a certain ritual.

Hiss! Hiss! Hiss!

In response to his actions, more poison serpents were formed around him before swiftly flying to the sky and swarming the Berserk Dragon from every direction.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

They did not just attack relentlessly and chaotically, but also formed a certain system that looked like a proper battle formation.

They surrounded the berserk dragon from all sides, attacking him without a pause and pressuring him from their unified strength.

Whoosh!

Boom!

However, Berserk Dragon continued with his crazy and powerful series of attacks, cleaving through everything alongside his fire elemental powers.

Even though he was starting to get suspicious about his crazy actions, he continued facing everything that came his way. He continued to brandish his war axes and sent a storm of blazing crescents everywhere.

Most of the swarming snakes were cut down by those blazing crescents, while the rest were annihilated by the violent flames that they carried.

However, the flood of attacks did not immediately end since an even larger batch of poison snakes flew out of the poison fog and continued to launch their attacks.

Berserk Dragon responded by launching an even stronger attack, which swiftly dealt with the incoming poison snakes.

But before he could even relax for a moment, another batch of snakes flew out of the poison fog and swarmed at him with the same level of relentlessness.

Moreover, the sizes of these snakes were much larger than the previous ones, particularly the one that was leading them.

Hiss! Hiss! Hiss!

This confrontation continued for quite a while, making Berserk Dragon realize that he could no longer continue like this, especially when the batches of poison snakes were becoming much stronger and larger than the previous ones.

Their numbers might be decreasing in the process, but their current sizes have become a direct reflection of their strengths.

Their sheer size made them hard to deal with, especially since they carried an extremely potent toxin that was capable of threatening Berserk Dragon.

Berserk Dragon had also revealed that there was something wrong with him, especially after he became somewhat immune to the special poison that was affecting him.

He was about to deal with it when the situation took a sudden turn.

Zong~! Long~! Long~!

A bright light suddenly came from the ground, attracting his attention.

Swoosh!

It was at that moment that he realized that he had spent a lot of time dealing with the various attacks thrown at him, making him overlook his true purpose in this battle, which was to defeat his opponent.

Looking beneath him, where a huge pit filled with thick poison fog was located, he saw a vague outline of a massive magic circle through the glowing runes that it had.

“This is bad!”

Acknowledging his current predicament, Berserk Dragon swiftly flapped his blazing wings and flew to a higher altitude, attempting to get away from the poison pit.

Unfortunately, he immediately realized that it was already too late to escape, making him stop and decide to face the incoming attack instead.

Boom!

An even stronger blazing storm surrounded him right after, channeling everything he had into his weapons.

The pair of blazing wings on his back had also become much larger, creating an image of a colossal flame dragon in the sky alongside the violent firestorm surrounding his body.

Roar!

Berserk Dragon did not wait any longer and dived-bombed from the sky, heading straight to the poison pit.

Whoosh!

Right at the same time, the glowing light that the huge magic circle within the poison pit shone even brighter, almost creating a bright pillar piercing toward the sky.

Within the depths of the poison pit, Lawrence was standing at the center of the grand magic circle while chanting out a series of magic spells.

Green runes were floating around him, forming a certain link with one another and creating a magic sequence around him.

He slowly raised his hands, leaving a series of overlapping afterimages behind, before joining his palms together.

Whoosh!

Right after his palms came in contact with one another, the huge magic circle drawn on the ground was finally fully activated, resonating with the mana frequency that he was currently releasing.

‘Poison Master Spell (Quasi Tier 4): Forbidden Spell – Call of the Ancient Serpent’

BOOM!

In the very next moment, the surrounding poison fog spun rapidly before turning into a humongous head of a colossal serpent, which was huge enough to swallow the blazing dragon that was about to descend from the sky.

Roar!

Along with a thunderous and ancient roar, the serpent’s head opened its mouth wide while flying upwards before devouring the blazing dragon whole.

Boom!

Berserk Dragon, who was fully engulfed by the blazing dragon, continued to descend while facing the poison serpent head-on.

He was continuously channeling all his power into the blazing dragon, enhancing its strength to protect himself from the violent storm of poison miasma within the mouth of the colossal serpent head.

This poison miasma was not only exceptionally dense but also extremely toxic as well.

It was gradually melting the blazing dragon that he had created with his powers while also slowly corroding its body.

The speed of his descent had greatly decreased as well due to this powerful miasma, which seemed to be slowly turning into its liquified form.

This liquified poison wrapped themselves on the blazing dragon, restricting its movements and preventing it from going further.

However, Berserk Dragon continued, exhausting all his powers during the process.

Roar!

Amid his struggle, the flame dragon opened its mouth and breathed out a blazing beam that opened up a path straight to his target.

Swoosh!

Along with the slowly disintegrating body of the flame dragon, Berserk Dragon further dove into the depths of the poison miasma and charged straight at its center.

It did not take that long for him to reach his target, finding Lawrence’s location in a few seconds.

He had seen the latter standing in the middle of the huge magic circle, maintaining his stance with a hint of struggle in his face.

Lawrence seemed to be struggling to maintain the spell, which was greatly reflected by the grave expression that he was making.

Berserk Dragon instantly noticed this and continued to urge the flame dragon to dive further. He also realized that the opposing side was unable to move from his spot, making Lawrence easier to target.

Roar!

Understanding that this would most likely be the final struggle, Berserk Dragon gave his all, activating all the remaining buffs that he had under his arsenal alongside the boosts from his Elemental Spirits.

Lawrence, on the other hand, continued to channel his remaining mana toward the magic circle underneath his feet while urging the surrounding mixture of poison miasma and liquified poison.

He controlled the flow of poison around him, forming a violent and powerful current, before directing it toward his opponent.

BOOM!

Strong collisions were produced due to the two sides clashing against one another.

The body of the flame dragon engulfing Berserk Dragon continued to disintegrate during its advance, while the remaining mana pool that Lawrence had rapidly dropped in every passing second.

“Ah!!!”

Not long after, Berserk Dragon finally reached his target in exchange for the flame dragon that was engulfing him earlier.

Aside from the somewhat thin layer of blazing armor that he had created with the remaining flame elemental mana that he had, he had nothing else to protect himself from the highly corrosive powers of the surrounding poison miasma.

“This is the end!” he shouted while brandishing his pair of war axes at Lawrence, who was still maintaining his current stance.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

His war axes cleaved through the body of his opponent consecutively, instantly killing his opponent.

At least that was what he thought until he saw the Lawrence before him disintegrate into a liquified poison and engulf him.

Right at the same time, the surrounding poison miasma suddenly converged toward his location as if they were being pulled by a powerful vacuum force.

They forcefully injected themselves into Berserk Dragon’s body, breaking through the remaining flame armor that he barely maintained.

Not far from where he was standing, the real Lawrence was suddenly manifested, being unveiled by the receding poison miasma.

He was still maintaining his earlier posture while pointing the tip of his fingers toward his opponent.

He continued to maintain his stance for a while, not letting his guard down even for a second.

Berserk Dragon, on the other hand, glared fiercely at Lawrence when he realized that he had been duped by a clone.

There was a mixture of hatred and unwillingness in his eyes as he continued to glare at the latter.

He only dared to heave a sigh of relief when the system finally sent him a notification that he had won the battle.
