Tentacle Monster Reincarnation: I Will Protect the Heroines

Niekawa forcibly lets my banter flow, stares straight this way.

”’If you keep holding this and that alone of course you will crush, are you not an idiot?’”

I was startled at a very unlike way of speaking.

A first-year brat who had put his face out the kendo hall window like what is Niekawa-senpai doing also made a hundred faces of astonishment !?.

”...You were told that by me. Do you not remember?”

”Ah? Ah... sorry.”

”I thought so. First year, when I collapsed in health and you came to deliver printouts.”

Hmm? I tilt my head. Ah, I recall.

A little before summer vacation started. To escape the homeroom teacher’s nagging what do you intend with these grades, I raised my hand for the visit to the Niekawa house everyone was pushing on each other.

There is also that at the time this guy’s atmosphere was stiffer, a type of class committee member who gets disliked, but the biggest reason everyone avoided, the long long stone steps, me at the time did not know. I had no interest at all in a serious guy’s family home.

Frankly I hugely regretted it. I remember climbing thinking the bunch who built a temple on this kind of mountain and the guy living here all drop dead.

Let’s quickly go home and rot in sleep, when I thought that. I met a ghastly Niekawa.

Work pushed on him because he is capable, I saw that figure desperately processing it inside the futon.

This is not a time to be down, there are still things I should do, I can still do it, I can do it, still, still, still, still! That kind of enthusiasm enough the watcher seems about to get burned gushed.

There is also that Leas was in the same year. Comparing himself to her running around to help people, he was desperate not to lose to a classmate, to a girl.

Ah, that is right.

Even if I collapse in health still, still still I. At the figure of a classmate trying to work hard that way I felt guilty just going home.

I said I will lend a hand in the range I can, and this guy who complained this and that, I said something?

Come to think of it after that when we met after summer vacation opened, the atmosphere had rounded quite a bit... hardness still remains but it approached current Niekawa this guy.

”Thanks to that the hard-headed fool got a little better. Even if you do not remember, I remember.”

Raising affection with a casual one line, why am I doing it to the same sex.

This kind of thing is a flow of doing it to a classmate girl with thinner exchange and making her think ah Furezawa-kun might unexpectedly be a good person. No, no good. I will absolutely put out ulterior motives.

Currently getting along well with the Sacred I think is because even while having ulterior motives I am desperate. Before recalling previous-life game memories I am just a grade-failing ero bastard, not a personality that can get along with justice transformation heroines at all.

Thanks to being desperate I can exchange with them, and as a result of being desperate I am doing something beyond my station. If I stand that this does not stand, truly.

”Ha. If you feel a debt, do anything. Even somewhat unreasonable demands.”

I let out a sigh and laugh kekeke meanly.

I got a little embarrassed and teased.

”Of course. That said I have no intention of lending a hand to crime. Well with current you it is probably fine.”

This guy nods dead seriously.

Because you are like that you are called stiff, I laugh. But somewhere in my heart I held relief.

I want to rely on anyone, I want to leave everything and flee, I end up thinking that kind of thing. I want to vomit everything to this guy far more serious than me and tremble behind.

Am I really an idiot. I should understand that if I leave everything to this guy who cannot even beat combatants he will instantly become a corpse.

”...? What is it, Furezawa.”

”Aa no, nothing.”

There is none.

I tried to say that, right before. A roar rang from far away. Window glass is shaken biri-biri.

Then ringing, a wolf’s howl. Unfitting for a townscape orderly except some parts, beasts’ clamor rings from the shopping street.

My phone trembled. I noticed an article was updated on the newspaper club account and immediately view it.

’Town beasts lots same as before’

An article of only a title, body blank. Anyone who knows nothing would not understand the meaning.

But I understand. I end up understanding.

Gain’s subordinate beasts...!? That guy should have died!

And yet why are they coming to Earth side.

Who is commanding them? No, in the first place are they being commanded? Is it only that the head is gone so they are sporadically running wild?

However much I think with a confused head an answer does not come out. I should have understood we have already diverged from the original, yet at an unexpected situation thinking stops.

”Idiot! Is this a time to space out!”

Right before that.

I return to sanity from Niekawa’s angry shout standing beside me.

”Evacuation route. Looking at the town’s state I also do not know whether it is safe. We evacuate to the school building! At least better than standing like a stick in this kind of place...!”

Looking at that guy Niekawa briskly giving instructions to first years I think as I thought this guy is amazing.

At least ten thousand times more capable than me who spaced out at a raid not in the original. But this is not a time to leak that kind of sob story.

”Niekawa! I will at least look at the club room side. Do not do dangerous things.”

”I understand my own limits until I am sick of it. That side too, if it gets dangerous flee.”

A lie. I know Reiko has gone home. But I ran in a form that Reiko might be in the club room.

Probably that guy too is transforming in her dorm room and already heading to the site.

Therefore I too. I jump into an unpopular classroom and change into Vigilante Atel Octo. I wrap tentacle clothes over slimy tentacles, leap from the window. I wind tentacles around a utility pole and race through the sky like an American comic hero.

I have to quickly join Saber or Knuckle or it is bad.

I who am a Tentacle Monster Villain have overwhelmingly lower stats than Gain’s subordinate beasts.

If I fight head-on I will be eaten and die. But I excel in number of moves and interference. Then I should rotate to support of the two specialized in close combat.

I adhere tentacles to a building wall, swing like pumping a swing and leap. I saw. At the end of my gaze Sacred Saber was there. I can see the figure swinging a sword and slaughtering Gain’s beasts.

Yosh, I let out a breath of relief and join.

”Caught you. Fall, Vigilante.”

In that instant my whole body was twined by countless threads.

Spider-thread-like sticky that mercilessly binds my body. Just like that I am dragged down to the ground.

My body is slammed on a building rooftop, dragged and I fall. I am slammed into the asphalt of a dim alley between buildings.

”Gu, ga, wha, n!?”

While screaming at dull pain attacking my whole body my expression is twisted not by pain but astonishment.

These threads that bound me. Because I know what they are.

Capture Web sold at Nezumi’s General Store...!?

I have not seen it in reality, but it is an item I used several times in the original.

It is a thing that twines Sacred rushing to a place where a Monster Villain occurred.

Of course Sacred physical ability is not so low they can be bound with only this, but by forcibly pulling them during movement you can fight on a battlefield advantageous to this side. I too used it in a way of pulling Sacred onto a popular main street and involving many ordinary people.

Yes, this is a means the protagonist used in the original.

That means.

”It has been a while, Vigilante. Atel Octo of black tentacles.”

”You...!”

A white-haired man looking down this way and sneering.

A Magician Diabolic with the alias Black-White Demon King, the original protagonist. Alter Native hooked up the corner of his mouth.
