Tentacle Monster Reincarnation: I Will Protect the Heroines

A Sacred’s private room existing inside Calmate’s castle.

Unless they have a mansion in the castle town like Grace, Sacred basically live here, and when the time comes they transform and sortie.

A place where they who are fitting to be called Calmate’s decisive battle weapons stay overnight. To maintain condition at the highest, if the room’s owner requested it it is delivered immediately.

Perhaps because of that, Leas Lott’s private room has a miscellaneous impression even though cleaning is thorough.

Books she thought she would read and gave up, stuffed toys, clothes she thought she wanted to wear and ordered but did not have the courage to wear and left shut in the closet. If someone who only knows Leas over on Earth saw it they would not think it is the same owner’s room.

And one more.

Doris Stan, Sacred Arrow’s room was alien even inside the castle... no, even inside the world called Calmate.

It is a room unfitting for a medieval fantasy.

Various electronic devices brought from Earth, a large battery, camera and mic, and a computer. Together with the smartphone placed on the desk it starts looking like a private room in an Earth town, not inside a medieval-fantasy-like white castle.

If there is a large difference, stone-built walls, and that what sends electricity to electronic devices is not a room outlet but a huge battery. Calmate should have no power generation facilities, and they only charge some tools with solar generation.

Inside that room, one young girl.

A tower PC and multi-monitors installed on the desk. While surrounded by multiple screens the girl expressionlessly silently taps the keyboard.

”Vigilante Atel Octo. Ally of justice... no, ally of justice Sacred, huh.”

Because there is a gate connecting Calmate and Earth, wireless communication can be done. Then if it is a wireless connection it is also possible to connect to the internet.

That said, that does not mean Calmate residents reach for those technologies.

Many people living in the castle have an aversion to this kind of technology, and ordinary people without that kind of sense were not even told this kind of technology exists in the first place.

Therefore other than Doris those who touch science technology are those who touched it because they were pressed by necessity heading to Earth... Leas and Grace, Gahel around. And in the meaning of reaching for this technology of her own accord she was the only existence.

Because of a desire to take in any technology and make it power, and because compared to other Sacred she mysteriously had no aversion to this kind of technology, Doris had become able to master many electronic devices.

”Can I think they will stay an ally from now on too? ...If the difference between Monster Villain and Vigilante became clearer it would be good, but Calmate this side is poor at research and development, and Earth that side has no concept of magical power. Leas-chan trusts them so I think there is no danger.”

Doris is not particularly a hacker.

Therefore even if she can handle the internet she could not possibly do something like finding hidden information.

But even so she has literacy ability to exclude sites that only roughly compiled and shady sites like I heard from Atel Octo’s acquaintance, and gather plausible information.

As a result Doris reaches one conclusion.

”...At least this onii-san’s head is not good.”

She knits her brows and says it harshly.

Doris too evaluates what Atel Octo accomplished, and is truly grateful.

Especially when she heard the school raid situation and Alter side’s forces she truly felt relief that it was good Atel Octo helped. With only those two, no matter what miracle happened it would have been impossible to cut through that place.

And he also saved Knight, and younger brother Gahel. At this point there is no lie in naming himself ally of justice Sacred, and she is starting to trust the Vigilante who protected the radiance she loves.

But that is that, this is this.

”...From movements it feels like he has knowledge of Monster Villains and Magician Diabolic, but actions are hit-or-miss, or he only thinks in the range of tactics not strategy.”

That he is desperately trying to protect the Sacred can be understood even in the range of data she dredged on the net.

In a crisis he is probably thinking this and that on the spot. But what to do after that? That vision seems thin.

Of course I do not think he is thinking nothing.

He is thinking this and that in his own way and worrying what to do I think.

But his nature is an ordinary person, or once past the throat he forgets the heat.

”...At that rate you will get countered, are you fine? Ally of justice Sacred-san.”

Yes, that was what the girl named Doris Stan feared most.

She confirmed Atel Octo’s combat scenes on video. Honestly speaking raw combat ability is bottom of the bottom. Compared to Remora combatants or same-type Tentacle Monster Villains he is strong, and she understands he is trying to improve in his own way.

But honestly even compared to end knights of Calmate let alone Sacred it is a failing level.

The opponent is not an idiot either. They have probably already thought of how to defeat Atel Octo.

Hmm, while crossing her arms and worrying, an alarm sound rings from the smartphone left on the desk.

”...Ah, it is about time.”

I have to start preparing. While lightly touching the camera and mic to check she headed to a corner of the room.

A corner of the room where the outside of the window cannot be seen and scattered electronic devices cannot be seen. On a white carpet embroidered with flowers, a unicorn stuffed toy sits in state on a soft pink sofa.

She checks whether cords and such are not reflected in the camera, and changes from room wear into a fluttery one-piece.

And on a face that had no expression at all she put on a smile so fawning a sound effect like kyurun seems about to attach.

Yosh, nodding Doris did some operations on the computer, then ran to the sofa and sat posun.

Time arrives. The video stream time she announced on SNS.

”All the Japan onii-chans! Omataase! It is cute cute Doris-tan!”

While confirming comments flowing on the smartphone, Doris placed both hands on her chest and showed a smile.

The environment called Earth with thin magical power is originally an unsuited environment for a seed of desire to take root.

But like vegetables under snow increase sugar so they do not freeze. Precisely because Earth has thin magical power they evolve so they can move their body with slight magical power.
