Tentacle Monster Reincarnation: I Will Protect the Heroines

If there had been no Knight’s support, the golden shining liquid floating in the air would have been slammed into the ground and scattered around. But with this everything ended. What had tormented her from morning, all of it.

”What face of everything ended are you making! See, Saber. For now at a suitable target. Yes, I can see a drain over there, let us release toward that. I also think soaking it too much is questionable. Saber? Are you listening, Saber?” (Ah, I see. I have to shoot it. Un...)

Now this instant Sacred Saber’s ability was lowered. The pleasure of letting out all the stored-up liquid is loosening thinking and flesh. But she understands what is being said. Therefore the instant before throwing the water sphere as if throwing a ball.

”Ah.”

A completely slackened body hindered Saber’s movement. In a throwing motion her body started falling diagonally. But with inherent physical ability she arranged balance before falling.

”...Eh, wai, Saber!? Wrong, this way, this way!”

”...Fue?”

But the spherical water she started to throw flew in a wrong direction.

”Ha? No, wai, wait buaa!?”

Atel Octo’s seriously panicking voice was blocked by water magic slammed from the face. Luckily there is no attack power. Frankly this time this is only made to shine while floating water to gloss various things. Just because it is light magic it will not wound him. It will not, but what consolation does that even become.

”...Eh.”

Saber who correctly understood the fact she pulled froze while still throwing water. While becoming aware of blood draining from her whole body, yet only her face having blood rise.

◇

I who had been watching the two Sacred who suddenly started magic practice suddenly got plenty of water zapaan over my head.

”Pua!? Wai, you...!?”

No matter how you cut it is the no-control too much. Thinking that I tried to glare at Saber.

Saber is completely frozen could be seen. The face that was originally quite flushed dyes even more bright red. Is failing simple magic in front of people that embarrassing.

”U. A, Atel, Octo... th, that... this, is.”

”No, don’t mind it. You are bad at it, magic.”

While wiping my face I laugh don’t get down. I do not know why she suddenly started practice at this timing, but well serious Saber probably could not leave what she is bad at as is. Actually if she had handled magic well that middle schooler could have been saved sooner, and she might be worrying about that area.

”I understand being embarrassed at a huge failure in front of people, but think it was good you did not fail in the real thing.”

Therefore I follow up so she does not get down.

”Still. Water produced with light magic is warm. I did not know.”

Changing the topic from the magic failure I wipe my face while laughing haha. Well, in games and manga light magic and healing light, the human it is used on says warm... and such. Therefore thinking this is close to human-skin warmth after being bathed in water produced with light magic is also natural.

”Octo-sama!? That kind of impression I would like you to refrain a bit, or something. Se, Saber, calm down, calm down, ne? You are a good girl, ne...?”

”U, uu, uuuuuu...!”

And yet. Somehow Saber has a face like the instant before seriously crying, what on earth is it. The mask of a cool woman swordswoman is currently cracking, becoming a face like a child the instant before bawling. At that state Knight, while dripping sweat densely on her face, high-laughs for now.

”Th, then! We will take our leave here! O, ohohohoh! ...See, Saber, we are going. Walk properly! Ne!?”

Before I could ask the reason, Knight goo! released flame, purified and evaporated the mucus around Saber, then grabbed her arm and ran while ringing a high laugh. A back figure more like fleeing this place with full power than returning dashingly. What happened, I wondered, then ah, I was convinced. They reserved a hotel restaurant. As host there are things she has to do. That ojou-sama, she is probably trying to put a dress on Leas who says uniform is fine. Seeing that figure off I put a smile on my mouth.

There were various failures, but somehow we protected the Sacred through.

The middle schooler who was becoming a Monster Villain was also saved, all’s well that ends well. I did not think I would get soaked at the very end, but well there is no damage so no problem. But that aside...

”Water made with light magic, does it not stink somehow...? Is it this kind of thing, Adle?”

Sun-sun. While harboring a question I bring my nose close to thoroughly wet tentacles, and Adle who had been frozen from earlier hurriedly averted his gaze.

”N-no... I, I do not know... Eeto, see, I have never seen Saber-neesan using magic...”

I harbored a question at an atmosphere of I grasped everything but am silent, but I pretended not to notice with I see, then it cannot be helped. Everyone has things they do not want known. Forcibly exposing that is also wrong. Interpreting it that way I picked up the middle schooler who had been becoming a Holy Water Monster Villain, fainted with a somehow satisfied face, and leaped toward the hospital.

◇

Knight quickly taking Saber out was a wise decision.

If she had missed the timing to take her out like that, Saber would have heard Atel Octo’s words about the smell and such. If that happened she would have bawled with a bright red face. From embarrassment and feeling sorry, raising a loud voice like a child. If that happened it would have been found out not only by Atel Octo but even by innocent people pointing cameras. Thinking that way, we can say the worst was avoided.

”I want to die.”

But the past of slamming that kind of water into the face of the hero who always saves her does not vanish. In Grace’s room at the student dorm. In that bathroom, Leas still in uniform was sitting in a P.E. sit with dead eyes. Her uniform with transformation already undone is as usual. There is nowhere a state of being thoroughly wet from the fight with the Monster Villain. However. When transforming into a Sacred clothes are decomposed, but underwear remains as is. Therefore Leas’s underwear that overcame the Holy Water Monster Villain fight was already bicha-bicha. Grace dried it with flame so it would not drip at minimum so the sitting sensation is warm, but the sensation of warmed liquid is disgusting and makes Leas feel even more miserable.

”I want to die.”

”Th, that... what happened.”

Toward the figure of her own senpai repeating four characters and Grace holding her head, Reiko who appeared late timidly asks. Each time she tried to hide in a shadow to transform she encountered women in a style of already I will not make it so here...! about to release right now, so she could not even transform into a Sacred and joined this place. She had thought she would be scolded for being late or you should not have come, and it is this situation. Clearly she does not understand the meaning.

”Eh? No, eeto, that is.”

”...Fine, Grace. I will talk.”

In contrast to greatly panicking Grace, Leas quietly opened her mouth. Rather than quiet it might be more correct to say her emotions are dead. While thinking that she was thoroughly told from this morning until now, the Monster Villain fight, and what she pulled after that from Leas’s mouth, and Reiko’s face greatly tightened.

(Na, even to comfort, what do I do with this...!?)

Diagonally above imagination, but I also hugely understand the feeling of being down. If Reiko pulled something similar toward Atel Octo or Saber she would shut herself in for a while. From embarrassment and feeling sorry she would not seem able to go outside. No, in Reiko’s case before reaching there she would have leaked all of it. What is about 1.5 liters, a juice plastic bottle. But how on earth do I comfort this...?

Don’t mind it.

Everyone has failures.
