Marvel: All My Incarnations Are S-Class Villainesses

Chapter 219: Chapter 219: Angel Devil and Snake Devil

This scene sent a chill down the back of Reze, who was fighting in mid-air not far away...

If she hadn’t been summoned by Sumire-chan...

She would have been skewered by that thing, and finally controlled by Makima while half-dead...

One could only say it was lucky to have Sumire-chan...

Boom—!

A fireball suddenly exploded in mid-air.

Accompanied by a deafening explosion, the vehicle was destroyed and its occupants killed; the charred remains of the Chitauri fell like raindrops.

This was precisely the ability of the Angel Devil—absorbing lifespan and converting it into weapons with special abilities.

The longer the lifespan consumed, the stronger the weapon created, and because of this—

The price of ”Limited Time Summon: Angel Devil” was a full 3,500 simulation values, only slightly lower than Quanxi’s.

However, Makima’s ”Devil Temp Squad” consisted of far more than just those two members.

In a shadowy corner on the other side of this rooftop, a third newly summoned ”new employee” stood quietly.

It was a young girl with short dyed blonde hair and a pair of burgundy snake-like eyes. She wore a loose red hoodie on top, paired with black shorts and conspicuous orange sneakers on her feet.

At this moment, the girl was huddled by the rooftop water tank with her arms crossed, her pupils shaking wildly, and she was constantly muttering under her breath: ”Why am I here... Why do I have to work with these guys? Could it be...”

”Am I still being controlled by that Makima person... Damn it...”

She was Sawatari Akane, a cold-blooded little delinquent and an out-and-out Villainess.

Sawatari Akane

Unfortunately, she wasn’t pulled from the gacha, but was instead bought by Sumire as a summon first, just like Quanxi.

In the World of Chainsaw Man.

She had collaborated with the Katana Man to plot the annihilation of Public Safety Special Division 4, causing heavy casualties through a shooting incident, and even wanted to assassinate Makima directly... but all of this, including the deaths of her subordinates, was within Makima’s expectations.

So...

Her ending... naturally wasn’t very pleasant.

After being captured by Kobeni Higashiyama, she died when her head was eaten by the Snake Devil.

However, Makima can contract dead people, so from then on, both she and the Snake Devil became Makima’s pawns.

The good news was that the price of ”Limited Time Summon: Sawatari Akane” was only 1,500 simulation values.

It was a relatively cost-effective choice.

The low price was mainly because Sawatari Akane’s main body was very fragile.

She was just an ordinary girl who couldn’t even beat a strong adult male...

Of course, she was still quite a bit stronger than Sumire.

Even though they were both the flat-chested type, Sawatari Akane herself was a civilian devil hunter.

Really... very flat...

Sawatari Akane’s left hand was contracted with the fierce ”Snake Devil.”

The price for summoning the Snake Devil to fight each time was merely one of her fingernails.

While losing a nail is painful, compared to those twisted devils in the devil World who demand hearts, eyes, or lifespans, the Snake Devil’s price could almost be called a Living Buddha.

Moreover, the Snake Devil’s ability was very strong—

It could spit out other devils it had swallowed whole to be used for itself.

Like the Ghost Devil, for example.

This also meant that as long as Sawatari Akane, an ordinary human, was protected, it was equivalent to having two devils fighting for her at the same time.

Unfortunately, the Snake Devil’s ability only worked on devils; it couldn’t swallow humans or other creatures and make them fight for it.

Otherwise, it would be a low-end version of Makima.

In any case, Sumire’s ”Devil Temp Squad” had expanded to three members.

They had officially assembled on the rooftop.

They were all carefully selected by Sumire and Makima.

Makima was responsible for screening their abilities, while Sumire was responsible for... well... screening their looks.

As a lover of beauty, Sumire couldn’t help it...

Someone like Katana Man...

A poet?

You, old man, should just stay honestly in the ”shop” for now.

When there are extra simulation values, I’ll call you out for some fresh air...

The only pity was that the time these three could stay in the Marvel Universe was only a short hour.

Maybe some time-extension functions and items hadn’t been unlocked yet, or Sumire hadn’t discovered them?

But in a high-intensity battle like the Battle of New York, this time was barely enough, provided that—

They absolutely must not slack off as they usually do.

”Time to work.”

Quanxi said, lifting her eyepatch and pulling out an arrow.

Accompanied by the sound of contracting muscle and metal, she again transformed into that Weapon Human covered in crossbow arms and spikes like a hedgehog. She raised the grotesque giant crossbows on her arms and aimed at the dense Chitauri formation in the distant sky.

She began an indiscriminate sniping barrage like a violent storm!

Angel sighed deeply, the pure white wings on his back suddenly flapped, and he soared into the air.

Taking off

He casually pulled out a spear converted from lifespan and landed lightly on a flying motorcycle passing by.

The shadow of the spear flashed.

The Chitauri Soldier driving didn’t even see his movement before his legs were cleanly severed, and he fell from the vehicle screaming.

Angel was quick, spreading his wings and diving down.

He grabbed the Chitauri’s neck in mid-air.

He just held it with one hand, hovering in the smoke-filled air.

The moment it was touched, the Chitauri warrior’s rough skin quickly turned gray and withered, its full muscles shriveled and dried up. Without even a chance to struggle, the sturdy body was completely drained of its life force.

It turned into a withered husk, which Angel released with little interest, letting it fall to the ground.

Angel expressionlessly raised his hand and reached directly into the halo above his head.

With a dull sound of friction, he pulled a short rapier from deep within the halo, as if drawing a sword.

”What’s this...” He sighed, his eyelids drooping listlessly.

”He looks big, but his lifespan is only a measly ten years?”

Come to think of it, these Chitauri looked like some kind of large reptilian creature.

Like worker bees in a hive, they were low-level consumables mass-produced on an assembly line.

They were inherently a short-lived species.

No need for a life, no need for love, no need for learning—they only needed to die in battle...

Meanwhile, Sawatari Akane, huddled by the water tank, really had no other choice...

But overall, having a second life was a good thing, even if she became the slave of the person she wanted to kill...

Sawatari Akane held out her left hand.

”Snake, swallow it.”

As a fingernail was torn off, still trailing blood, a hair-raising hiss erupted from the shadows of the rooftop.

A giant snake, as thick as a skyscraper, roared and soared into the sky!

Little snakey~ Cough, sorry, wrong picture...

It was called a snake, but it was a devil after all; it was deathly white, and its face was formed by countless severed human hands embracing each other.

Those arms rose and fell eerily with the snake’s movements, revealing a bloody maw large enough to swallow an entire subway train.

With one bite, it swallowed several approaching Chitauri flying motorcycles along with their drivers.

The Snake Devil was no Minazuki; once swallowed, the only end waiting for them was to be digested into snake poop.

Sawatari Akane and her little snakey
