Marvel: All My Incarnations Are S-Class Villainesses

Chapter 207: Chapter 207: The Villainesses’ Sense of Relaxation

Reze was like a black monstrous bird, using explosions to hover in mid-air, staring down at the sea surface that was roiling like boiling water.

However, it didn’t take long.

In the far reaches of those surging waves, a small green figure actually surfaced.

After enduring a saturated bombardment sufficient to level a small city, Hulk actually still had the strength to swim toward the distant coastline.

”He’s still not dead? Just what kind of monster is this...” Reze complained somewhat resentfully.

That unreserved wild bombardment just now had left her exhausted.

And yet this green-skinned fatty can still swim?!

”Don’t pursue a desperate foe, Reze. Come back.”

Sumire’s voice rang in her ear at the right time.

She knew very well that whether it was chasing him to land or fighting a naval battle with Hulk in the water, Reze had no advantage.

Hulk is famously known for getting stronger as he fights, and there’s also Loki lurking in the shadows, who might jump out to cause trouble at any moment.

Reze nodded; she was indeed a bit tired.

This Hulk really is quite the character; he took a one-sided beating for half a day, yet it was she, the one doing the hitting, who ended up exhausted.

However, just as Sumire intended to use the recall function in the ”inventory” to bring Reze back...

”Wait, Sumire-chan!”

Reze seemed to have seen something interesting. Her serrated mouth split open, letting out a sly ”Hehehe.”

On the sea surface below, which had just undergone a baptism of high-temperature boiling and explosions, white bellies were turning up in dense clusters.

Countless sea fish, roasted by the high heat, floated to the surface, causing the air to emit a fragrant aroma of grilled fish in addition to the salty brine of the seawater.

”Sumire-chan, do you want to eat fish for lunch?” Reze’s eyes lit up.

Far away in Fisk Tower, Sumire couldn’t help but laugh when she heard this.

This girl, one second she was in a world-shattering life-and-death battle, and the next, she was already thinking about eating grilled fish?

In this battle between Hulk and Reze, neither side suffered much loss...

Instead, it was the fish in the sea that were blasted into a daze by Reze, becoming the only victims.

Half an hour later.

In the penthouse suite of Fisk Tower, New York.

Reze changed back to her human form, carrying a warm sack on her shoulder.

The sea fish inside were all carefully selected by Reze, ones that hadn’t been contaminated by Hulk’s blood...

Otherwise, with one bite, Sumire might turn into a She-Hulk...

Sumire stepped forward and pulled out a grouper that was still a bit hot to the touch.

The fish had been roasted by the Bomb’s heat until it was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a mouth-watering aroma.

Sumire shuffled the hot grilled fish between her hands and placed it on a plate. Seeing this, Unohana Retsu, standing nearby, let out a soft laugh with eyes crinkling into crescents. She thoughtfully picked up a seasoning bottle and helped Sumire evenly sprinkle a layer of fine salt over the grilled fish.

Sumire bowed her head and took a gentle bite, her eyes immediately lighting up.

The first thing to touch the tip of her tongue was the slightly hot, crispy fish skin with a hint of charred fragrance.

Following that, the white fish meat, so tender it barely needed chewing, melted in her mouth!

There were no complex spices.

Only pure sweetness, the unique fatty aroma of deep-sea fish, and that touch of slight saltiness intertwined, instantly taking over Sumire’s taste buds.

Juices overflowed between her lips and teeth...

It’s truly delicious!

Only good food cannot be let down, making Sumire completely forget about Loki.

”You guys come and try some too!”

...

Not long after, a rich charred aroma permeated the living room, completely dissipating the tension before the big battle.

Around the dining table, Sumire, Unohana Retsu, Kotetsu Isane, Perona, and Reze, who had just returned to human form, sat together.

They shared the few sea fish in the sack that had been roasted by the battle’s aftermath, eating heartily while Kumashi watched with drool running down.

Perona had no choice but to pick one out and toss it to Kumashi, letting it feast.

It’s only natural for a bear to eat fish, even if it’s a zombie plush bear...

”Thank you, Lady Perona!”

”Shut up, Kumashi. You sound awful. Just eat your food quietly!”

After Perona finished speaking, she also started eating, sticking out her little tongue and going ”hiss-ha, hiss-ha,” seemingly burned by the fish meat.

Reze wasn’t afraid of the heat at all, tearing into the crispy-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside fish meat. Unohana Retsu was carefully removing fish bones for Sumire, while Kotetsu Isane’s eating manner was refined, savoring it in small bites.

Even though New York was about to become a living hell and face an invasion by an alien army...

They unhurriedly began eating lunch instead...

As for the Villainesses’ sense of relaxation...

But as the saying goes, you need a full stomach to have the strength to fight.

While slowly chewing the fish meat Unohana Retsu had deboned, Sumire reviewed the current situation in her mind.

Clearly, Thor and Hulk had both been forcibly recalled to New York by Loki.

What would happen next was very clear.

Loki would likely use the Tesseract soon to open a portal and formally summon the Chitauri interstellar army to invade Earth.

That would be the real war.

”This Loki is much more cunning and difficult to deal with than in my memory...” Sumire sighed inwardly.

What’s most critical is that he now not only possesses the Tesseract and the Mind Stone, but has also abducted Thor and Hulk, the two strongest combatants, to serve as his enforcers.

His combat power has increased more than twofold compared to the movie.

The key was the shift in power.

You see, throughout the entire Avengers, those who can truly counter an alien army basically rely on those two monsters, Thor and Hulk.

The remaining few, in terms of pure combat power, are more than a grade lower.

The only one who can somewhat hold the fort is Tony Stark, but he’s a ”late-game hero” and clearly hasn’t fully developed yet.

Currently, Tony’s main combat armor is the Mark 6 armor.

Although it’s much stronger than the Mark 5 that Reze blew into scrap metal, in this high-end game of gods fighting, its armor strength isn’t tough enough, and it doesn’t have enough functions, let alone being compared to the Hulkbuster or the Nano Suit.

As for Captain America Steve, although he can go toe-to-toe with anyone, he relies purely on a desperate iron will to fight. In an actual battle... Thor or Hulk would probably find snapping him as easy as wringing a chick’s neck.

Not to mention Natasha and Clint.

Halfway through the fight, one out of bullets and the other out of arrows, they’d probably struggle even to clear out Chitauri grunts.

The more Sumire thought about it, the more depressed she became.

Should she just call Loki and bring two crates of milk to negotiate?

Give him Hawkeye and have him return Thor and Hulk...

Otherwise, how is this mess supposed to be played!

In the original movie, the assembled six-member Avengers team took a tremendous effort just to beat Loki and the Chitauri army.

Now that the two strongest carries have become the enemy’s generals, this decimated Avengers lineup is simply doomed.

Originally, the perfect plan set by Sumire and Makima was to ”watch the fire from across the river and reap the benefits.”

Wait for the Avengers and Loki to both be exhausted, then they would show up and easily take the spoils. But now it seems that if they don’t personally get involved, this fire might burn right up to their own doorstep.

If New York falls, her Fisk Tower and underground forces will also be reduced to ashes.

That would be a massive loss...

It seems now that if they want the Mind Stone and the Tesseract, they really have to snatch them personally!

”Fine then.” Sumire swallowed the last bite of fish and wiped her mouth with a tissue.

”I’ve already prepared for this big battle long ago anyway.”

She muttered in her heart, and the Villainess Simulation Game panel immediately popped up before her eyes.

Like a calculating hoarder, Sumire had been scrimping and saving for so long.

All for the sake of having the absolute strength to flip the entire table one day!

It seems today is that day!
