A Warm Marriage After Rebirth

Chapter 459: Chapter 459: Swift Rescue (7)

”Mr. Quinn, here’s what happened. Nadia Chapman is my sister. She attacked me first, which is why the staff here stepped in to help. It was originally just a small matter that would’ve been resolved if she had just apologized, but she was so stubborn that things escalated to this point! The staff may have acted inappropriately in the process, and I hope you can forgive them!”

Fiona Chapman also stepped forward to corroborate their story. The three of them were in perfect agreement, placing all the blame squarely on Nadia Chapman!

”Oh? So you’re saying this is all Nadia Chapman’s fault?” Martin Quinn glanced at the woman lying on the sofa with her arms wrapped tightly around herself. The corner of his mouth curved into a smile, instantly eclipsing everything else in the room.

Never mind that Martin Quinn was the young master of the immensely wealthy Quinn Family; his handsome face alone was enough to captivate any woman, especially a young, star-struck girl like Fiona Chapman. This was her first time ever getting this close to the legendary figure! Flashing what she believed to be a flawless smile, Fiona Chapman walked to Martin Quinn’s side.

”You’re absolutely right, Mr. Quinn. That woman, Nadia, is the one who caused all this! But it’s just a trivial matter, no need to trouble yourself with it. Just let the staff punish her a little to teach her a lesson, that’ll be enough. After all, no matter what her faults, she’s still my sister. If she hadn’t caused a scene on your territory, Mr. Quinn, I wouldn’t be this upset. I probably would have forgiven her by now.”

”Young Master, Miss Chapman is right. This is such a trivial matter, just leave it to us to handle. There’s no need for you to get involved!” the manager chimed in, seizing the opportunity. ”Justin, what are you waiting for? Get her out of here!”

”Yes! Right away!” Justin immediately understood and reached out to lift Nadia Chapman, who had gone completely limp. But before his hands could touch her, Martin Quinn suddenly struck. He grabbed Justin’s wrist with one hand and twisted it sharply. With a sickening CRACK, a perfectly healthy arm was broken just like that.

At the same time, he swept her into his arms. ”President Chapman isn’t someone you can touch with your filthy hands.”

Guh—

Everyone stared in astonishment. ’What in the world is going on? Mr. Quinn knows Nadia Chapman?’

”Are you okay?” Martin Quinn asked, looking at the limp, unresponsive Nadia. When he got no reply, his eyes fell upon her red and swollen shoulder. A dangerous glint flashed in their dark depths. ”Leo Warren, take every single one of them away. Everyone who works in this place is permanently blacklisted from The Quinn Group! And shut down Westbound for reorganization!”

”Young Master?” the manager cried out, unable to believe his ears. ’He can’t be serious! I’ve worked at Westbound for so many years, and he’s just going to fire me like this?’

”Manager, you’re not nearly clever enough to lie to the Young Master,” Leo Warren said with a sidelong glance. ’The man really doesn’t know his own limits. The Young Master left a meeting for President Chapman; did he really think he’d let the people who bullied her get off easy?’

The manager and Justin’s faces turned ashen. They never imagined things would end up like this. As they watched Martin Quinn’s retreating back as he carried Nadia Chapman away, it dawned on them both: they had truly provoked someone they could not afford to offend.

The hall had fallen silent the moment Martin Quinn arrived. Even though this was his establishment, he rarely made an appearance. For the crowd to finally catch a glimpse of him, only for it to be when he was furious, was something else. Everyone couldn’t help but stare in their direction. ’Mr. Quinn really lives up to his reputation. He doesn’t do anything by halves!’

The women in the room, however, watched the girl in Martin Quinn’s arms with a potent mix of envy and jealousy. ’She’s so lucky! To actually capture Mr. Quinn’s attention! If we’d known all it took was causing a little trouble at Westbound to get him to notice you, we would’ve done it ages ago! To think someone else beat us to it!’
