A Warm Marriage After Rebirth

Chapter 458: Chapter 458: Rapid Rescue (6)

”Justin has always worked at Westbound. He wouldn’t be this aggressive if you hadn’t offended him! I suggest you just apologize and get this over with. Here at Westbound, no one can help you. See all this security? With a wave of my hand, I can have them grab you and hand you over to Justin to do with as he pleases. This is what happens to everyone who causes trouble at Westbound. Are you sure you want to continue?”

The manager was an old hand at Westbound. He knew exactly what kind of threats to use on what kind of person; he had it down to a science. If she were some rich young lady from a powerful family, he might have hesitated. But she was just the head of a couple of companies, someone he didn’t even need to take seriously.

”So this is how you run Westbound. I’ve really seen it all now! First, I did nothing wrong. Second, I wasn’t making trouble. I will not apologize. I’m curious to see how your boss will deal with you if something happens here today!” Nadia Chapman had already burned her bridges; there was no reasoning with people like this.

”Heh, trying to threaten me? Little girl, you’re still far too naive! Don’t forget, this is Westbound—my territory!” With a look from the manager, someone suddenly jumped out from behind Nadia Chapman and snatched the small hammer from her hand.

No matter how smart Nadia Chapman was, she was still just an ordinary person, not particularly alert to her surroundings. The manager’s words had just been a ploy to distract her.

Justin looked at Nadia Chapman, who had fallen to the floor. He walked right up and kicked her in the shoulder. ”You brought this on yourself. I told you, at Westbound, I call the shots. Even with the manager here, the result is the same! This time, I’m going to have you, no matter what! Even if you wanted to apologize, you’ve lost your chance!”

Justin grabbed Nadia Chapman off the floor and threw her onto the sofa. A chill ran down her spine as a deep fear rose within her. ’Is this really the end for me?’ The sudden impact made her head spin even more.

With a RIIIP, the black dress tore open at the shoulder. Nadia Chapman no longer even had the strength to struggle. Justin had already taken off his own shirt. Just as he was about to make his next move, a chilling voice suddenly came from behind, stopping him in his tracks.

”Since when did Westbound become your territory? Manager, perhaps you should explain this to me. Since when does a lowly security guard call the shots here?” Martin Quinn’s face was grim as he struggled to suppress the rage boiling inside him.

”Young Master, a misunderstanding! This is all a misunderstanding!” The moment the manager saw Martin Quinn, a cold sweat broke out on his back. ’Why would he show up now?!’

”A misunderstanding? Are you saying there’s something wrong with my hearing? Or that my ears aren’t working?” Martin Quinn shot him a sharp glance, and the manager didn’t even dare to breathe.

”You said you call the shots here at Westbound?” Martin Quinn didn’t even break his stride, walking directly up to Justin.

Justin, who had been so arrogant just moments before, was suddenly like a mouse before a cat. His entire presence vanished, and he was reduced to groveling. ”Young Master, that was a slip of the tongue, just a slip of the tongue! Please, don’t take it to heart! I was just angry. This woman was causing trouble at Westbound. I just wanted to punish her a little, to teach her a lesson!”

”Yes, Young Master! Nadia Chapman was throwing her weight around because she owns a couple of companies, trying to disrupt our business. She was even about to smash the alarm! Thank goodness Justin stopped her in time! Otherwise, this place would be in complete chaos right now!” The manager, having collected himself, chimed in to back Justin up.
