I Can Stock Up in the Game

Chapter 158: Chapter 111: Black Bear Spirit Is Going to Open a Fruit Shop

It was hard to picture girls like this as animal handlers.

”President Zhang, President Lin, here are their applications.” An employee from the HR department handed the two young women’s résumés to Zhang Lin and Lin Mengyao.

Zhang Lin took the files and glanced through them. The two had indeed majored in animal care and even had various certifications. They had looked after their department’s animals at school, but their hands-on experience was a bit lacking.

”Why do you want to be animal handlers at our farm?” Zhang Lin asked the two young women.

Yuan Bingbing answered immediately, ”We’re the ones who posted that video of the Black Bear Spirit stealing the Kasaya. We really like them, and we can take care of them and get paid for it, so why wouldn’t we apply?”

Zhang Lin hadn’t expected the young woman to answer with a question of her own.

’She clearly has no interview experience.’

Still, he really hadn’t expected that the viral video had been filmed by these two.

The HR employee beside them chimed in, ”It’s true, they’re the ones who filmed the video!”

Hearing this, Zhang Lin turned to Lin Mengyao. ”Mengyao, what do you think?”

Lin Mengyao looked at the two applicants and said, ”President Zhang, experience aside, their look is great. Plus, the fact that their video went so viral shows they have a connection with Xiaohai and the others. The fruit stand also needs to be staffed. Having them dress up as Little Demons from Black Wind Mountain while looking after Xiaohai would be a great idea.”

”In that case, let’s give them a trial run.” What Lin Mengyao said made sense to Zhang Lin.

The two were adorable, and their image was excellent.

At the very least, the tourists would find them charming.

Time passed.

「Two days went by in the blink of an eye.」

As a new day dawned, Li Yuan Farm quickly came to life. In the campgrounds, many tourists who were curious about the Black Bear Spirit’s fruit stand began asking the staff about it first thing in the morning.

However, the tourists all received the same reply: the Black Bear Spirit wasn’t awake yet, and the stand would only open after it woke up.

This wasn’t a scripted gimmick; the Little Black Bear genuinely loved to sleep in.

Until the Little Black Bear’s own enclosure was built, it was being housed temporarily in a section of the office center.

When Zhang Lin arrived early in the morning, it was still fast asleep on a soft cushion.

He then went to his office and looked at the game data in his mind:

Level: 4

Upgrade Requirements: 1. 622 Workers (622/200)! 2. Earn 30,000,000 in Profit (5,245,634/30,000,000)! 3. Develop 10,000 mu of Agricultural Land (3,785/10,000)! 4. Obtain 1 Agricultural Honor (0/1)

Bank Card: 62122614*******

Balance: 5,245,634.25 yuan

Agricultural Land: 7,000 mu!

Game Buildings: Color Steel Houses, Warehouses, Service Center, Bamboo Maze, Bamboo Culture Park, Office Center, Campground (Under Construction)

After three days, the balance had finally bounced back, once again surpassing five million.

Currently, Li Yuan Farm was hosting up to 15,000 tourists daily.

Profits from fruit, Honeysuckle Tea, and the restaurant basically reached 500,000.

To ensure a quality experience, the Bamboo Maze was still limited to 5,000 tickets daily, generating 250,000 in revenue.

There were now two Flower Seas, but considering the Seven-Color Flower Sea was bound to be more popular, ticket sales were only increased to 7,500. With a package ticket price of 50 yuan, this amounted to 375,000!

However, the two new campgrounds eased a lot of the pressure from tourists; after all, the campgrounds themselves were attractions.

This was especially true for Li Yuan Farm’s own campground, which had special game-like attributes. Even if people couldn’t get tickets for the Flower Sea or the Bamboo Maze, many felt that spending a day there was still a great experience.

As for the North Campground, with no other choice, many tourists had to settle for it as a second-best option. It was at least close to the farm, and it also reached full capacity.

Therefore, the daily revenue from lodging at the two campgrounds was 1,500,000. Including other sales and services, the total revenue reached 2,000,000.

However, the South Campground was built with a 40,000,000 subsidized loan. The loan agreement was interest-free and stipulated that repayment would come from the campground’s revenue. Therefore, 1,400,000 of that daily income went into a bank account for loan repayment.

This meant that until the 40,000,000 loan was fully paid off, Li Yuan Farm’s daily income was now over 1,600,000.

Of course, this was before deducting construction, labor, and utility costs. Furthermore, he still owed Kailin Investment Farm a final payment of 20,000,000.

To be blunt, apart from the value of the farm itself, he was still drowning in debt.

As for the land area, the 40,000 mu from the Kailin Investment acquisition hadn’t been added to the total yet.

He had a good idea why. Although the acquisition contract had been signed, the registration information with the Bureau for Industry and Commerce hadn’t been updated yet. He’d have to find time to pay them a visit.

’That should take care of it.’

Just then, he got a call from his cousin, Zhang Zhao. He answered, and his cousin’s voice came over the line. ”Lin, I’m here.”

”Zhao, four people, right?” Zhang Lin asked with a smile.

”That’s right!” Zhang Zhao said.

”Wait for me, I’ll be right there.” Zhang Lin hung up and opened a drawer in his desk. Inside were several stacks of Li Yuan Farm ticket packages.

Lin Mengyao had prepared them for him.

This way, whenever friends or relatives visited, he could simply give them tickets. For instance, if Director Zhao Han came by for tea, he could easily give him a few to hand out at the bureau as employee benefits or to give to his own friends and family.

It was all part of playing the social game.

Take his cousin, for example. Was he really someone who couldn’t afford a few tickets?

Of course not. With his second uncle to fall back on, even if his cousin quit his job at the police station, he could still coast through life as a minor rich kid.

The real issue was that you couldn’t book tickets; tourists snapped them up too fast.
