Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Chapter 48 - Chase

“Oops! A troublesome guy has appeared!”

At the same time, on the street, Gildarts noticed Makarov behind him.

A few drops of unnatural sweat appeared on his cheeks, and then he saw a burst of terrifying magic power erupting from his body.

“Girls hold tight, I’m going to speed up!”

As Gildarts spoke, his figure turned into an afterimage and headed straight for the hunting ship at the pier.

“Um……”

The two girls who were hugged by Gildarts were shocked. They couldn’t even open their eyes due to the strong wind.

“This…… What kind of monster is this?! Milk Boy, speed up! Speed up!” As for the boss who was riding a tall mage behind Gildarts, he also noticed Makarov running wildly behind him, with a terrified expression on his face, and kept urging the mage under him.

“Oh!!”

The mage named Milk Boy took out a bottle of milk from his trouser pocket and poured it into his mouth continuously.

As the milk entered the baby’s stomach, bursts of milky white gas burst out of his body instantly, and the speed, in an instant, gave birth to a whole new level…

“What is that strange creature?” Evan on the second floor of the hotel looked at the three people running wildly on the street, the corners of his eyes twitched slightly.

“What’s the situation on street, Evan? What are the Guild Master and Gildarts doing?” Just as Evan was looking at the three people running wildly on the street, unable to describe his mood at the moment with words, the door behind him was pushed open forcefully, and Ur strode into it, looked at Evan and asked.

“Anyway, it’s not a race… I’ll go and have a look. Ur, look after the children.” After Evan finished speaking, he flew out of the window and headed straight for Gildarts.

After a few minutes……

Gildarts had already arrived at the pier first, and he looked anxiously at the captain and said, “Captain, I’m going to hunt Unicol.”

“Are these two girls also hunting Unicol together?” The middle-aged captain with a pipe in his mouth looked Gildarts up and down, then looked at the two girls in Gildarts’ arms and asked.

“Of course, we’re together!” Gildarts nodded slightly, then directly embraced the girls in his arms, and jumped onto the ship.

“Sail the ship, sail the ship! It’s not good to miss the opportunity!” After jumping onto the ship, Gildarts smiled at the captain of the hunting ship who was still below.

“What a monster!” The captain gave Gildarts a slightly surprised look, then turned around and immediately gave an order to the sailors around him, “We’re going out to sea!”

“Sir!” After receiving the captain’s order, the sailors boarded the hunting ship one after another.

Immediately, accompanied by bursts of sirens~

This hunting ship, which was used to hunt Unicol, finally headed towards the sea.

“Gildarts!!” Just as the ship used to hunt Unicol was moving forward, a tall figure came roaring to the pier.

“Hey, hey?! Is that a giant?” After hearing the sound, the sailors on the hunting ship looked back. They all stared wide-eyed at the tall figure on the pier.

Giants are rare even in this magical world.

“As expected of Makarov! Sure enough, he’s fast enough…”

Gildarts looked at Makarov who had already arrived at the pier, not too far away from them, a few drops of cold sweat poured out on his face.

After giving Makarov a fearful look, Gildarts spoke to the sailors on board. “Sail quickly! If you are caught up, you will suffer!”

“Don’t worry! Mister Mage, this is the sea, no matter how tall that giant is, it is impossible to walk in the sea!” After listening to Gildarts’ words, some sailors said with ease.

“That’s not necessarily the case!”

After hearing what the sailor said, Gildarts shook his head. It would be great if things were really as the sailor said.

“Gildarts!” As Gildarts finished speaking, the giant standing on the pier let out roars, and he stepped into the sea step by step.

At the same time, his body began to grow bigger and bigger, and eventually became so big that even standing in the sea, he could still expose his upper body.

Immediately afterwards, the giant took big strides and walked towards Gildarts and the others.

“Eh?!”

“Are you kidding me? That giant can grow bigger?!”

The sailors stared at the suddenly enlarged Makarov.

“If it’s a joke, that’s fine… It’s troublesome now…”

Gildarts looked at Makarov and felt troublesome. He thought about how to explain to Makarov. Speaking of the current situation, even if he explained it seriously, would Makarov listen?! And if you insist, these two girls were indeed snatched from that idiot boss…

In short, Gildarts, who first explained to Makarov, looked at Makarov and shouted loudly: “Guild Master, things are not what you imagined!”

“Then give back the girls you stole!” Upon hearing this, Makarov replied loudly.

“That’s impossible!” When Gildarts heard the words, without even thinking about it, he directly answered Makarov. Seeing that he could not agree with Makarov, Gildarts said to the sailors around him. “In short, let’s do our best to run away!”

“Oh, alright……”

The captain of the hunting ship and the sailors nodded repeatedly after hearing what Gildarts said.

“No, he’s going to catch up now!”

On the hunting ship, the helmsman at the helm watched Makarov approaching the crowd, his forehead was covered with cold sweat from nervousness.

Anyone who is constantly being chased by a huge giant who can stand in the sea like a super monster will probably be so frightened that he will soften his hands, right?

“Humph!” At the same time, Makarov’s eyes were shining with golden light as he continued to move forward. He had to teach Gildarts, the bastard who corrupted the guild’s atmosphere, a good lesson today.

“Guild Master, it’s really not what you think!”

Gildarts looked at Makarov who kept approaching their hunting ship, and he tried to explain to the other party again.

“Whether it’s you or Evan, you’re all a bunch of bastards who can’t hear others! For you disobedient little brats, I have nothing to talk nonsense about! It’s useless to talk!”

At this moment, Makarov seems to have been overwhelmed by the anger in his heart! Completely looking like he couldn’t listen to what anyone said, he continued to sail against the wind and waves, heading towards the hunting ship.

“It seems that there is really no way out now!”

Gildarts watched Makarov’s eyes flicker with white light. No matter what, he had to finish this job first. He explained to Makarov that he couldn’t delay the job assigned to him by his employer.
