Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Chapter 24 - Unlucky Laxus

Time flies.

A few months passed by in a hurry, and the time came to August, the end of summer, and everything grew luxuriantly…

“Okay, let’s end here today!”

Evan stopped teaching Erza. To be honest, at this point, Evan has nothing to teach Erza.

With Erza’s super talent, in just a few months, she raised her swordsmanship level to around level 5 to level 6 judged by Evan’s system.

This made Evan feel very emotional. Without the help of the system, he probably would not be able to improve his swordsmanship to the fifth or sixth level in his lifetime. As expected of Erza, who inherited Irene’s terrifying talent, is really a monster…

But when he thought about how in the original book, after awakening her magic power, Erza relied on her own talent to successfully become an S-Class mage in Fairy Tail in only three or four years, and Evan understood.

“Huh…”

While panting heavily, Erza gently wiped off the sweat on her head. Her current Haki manipulation is becoming more and more skillful, and her sword skills are becoming more and more fierce. Even the profound meaning of flying and slashing has been completely mastered, but even in this way, she still couldn’t defeat Evan, and she couldn’t even catch up with Evan’s figure, which made Erza a little distressed.

In Erza’s eyes, if she couldn’t catch up with Evan, she couldn’t carry out the job with Evan…

“In short, Erza, until now, I have nothing to teach you. The next practice is up to you. Whether it is the improvement of magic power, or the practice of Haki and swordsmanship, what will you do in the future and how high can you reach depends on how high your heart is.”

Evan looked at Erza and spoke softly.

For nearly three months, he successfully helped Erza improve her sword skills, but there was still no progress in Haki.

This made Evan somewhat suspect that there was something wrong with his teaching level.

Or……

Haki, a special ability that does not belong to this world, although it can be enchanted to other people through his enchantment, but it’s only an enchantment after all. The enchantment level will be fixed at that level, and will not continue to increase…

If it’s the former, then it’s okay, Evan can only complain that his teaching talent is far inferior.

But if it’s the latter, then there will be big troubles. Evan doesn’t know whether it is right or wrong to attach a power that cannot be improved to Erza’s body.

But Evan still has a backup…

Even if the power of Haki and magic cannot be improved through practice in this world, Evan can wait until the funds become plentiful and forcefully empower Erza…

But this is the last resort. Evan still hopes that Erza can improve her Haki spirit through practice.

In fact, even if the ability of Haki can be improved by enchanting it and the practice of the person being added, Evan does not intend to enchant this ability to too many people, because the mainstream power in this world is still magic. In Evan’s opinion, it is not worth the loss if she gives up magic and practice Haki…

And the reason why Evan enchanted Haki to Erza is because Erza’s magic Requip: The Knight does not require practice.

Whether the magic of Requip is strong or not depends mainly on what kind of armor Erza is wearing. The stronger the armor, the stronger Erza is.

Erza’s main means of attack are swordsmanship and physical skills, so Erza can practice completely, Haki, swordsmanship, and magic without delay.

Anyway, Erza’s magic is mainly about collecting equipment and improving her strength…

Therefore, Erza can achieve the perfect compatibility of magic, Haki, swordsmanship, and even fruit abilities. This kind of compatibility is impossible for others.

Speaking of devil fruit…

Evan originally wanted to try enchanting his own devil fruit ability to Erza, but he failed. Evan found that if he wanted to give the devil fruit ability to others, he had to completely separate the devil fruit in his body and turn it into a complete fruit first. Thinking of this, Evan gave up…

Originally, he planned to take advantage of the bug that ordinary people cannot eat two devil fruits with the enchantment card, but unfortunately he couldn’t get rid of the bug…

“Big brother Evan, are you going to continue the job again?” After being silent for a long time, Erza pursed her lips, looked at Evan and asked.

“After all, we are the mages of Fairy Tail! As mages, how can we not carry out jobs all the time?” Evan smiled slightly, then rubbed Erza’s little head.

“Ok! Big brother Evan, go and carry out the job! I will work hard to carry out the job, after all, I am also the mage of Fairy Tail! When big brother Evan comes back, my strength will not be what it used to be. I will definitely surprise big brother Evan!” Erza nodded her head, and then watched Evan seriously.

“Okay! Then we’ve made an agreement. When I come back next time, Erza will definitely surprise me!”

Evan looked at Erza’s serious and cute look, and nodded with a smile.

“Yeah! I will definitely.” Erza nodded lightly, silently making up her mind, “I must make myself stronger than I am now, and I must catch up with big brother Evan.”

“I’m waiting for you……” Evan gently stroked Erza’s little head again.

Then, Evan sent Erza back home, bid farewell to Irene, and returned to the Fairy Tail guild alone.

Everyone in the guild is still chatting and farting like before…

Evan didn’t make much noise either, after all, he is a low-key person.

Evan looked around casually for a while, and found that the Guild Master and Gildarts were not there, so he went directly to the job board, ready to choose some jobs suitable for himself.

He first came to the general job board. The jobs in it are jobs that most mages can complete. Many jobs have no job level. In fact, except for S-Class jobs, or jobs above S-Class, the division of job levels is not clear, but Evan’s system has its own set of review standards, which divides these jobs into A-Class, B-Class… all the way to E-Class and other jobs.

“Sure enough, there is no job I want…”

Evan casually glanced at the jobs on the common job board, most of them are jobs without combat and danger, and the level is not high.

Evan didn’t intend to complete these time-consuming jobs, so he got up and prepared to go to the S-Class job board on the second floor, trying his luck…

“Evan, are you back?!” Just as Evan was about to leave, his Observation Haki suddenly gave an alarm…

“Is it Laxus?” Evan turned around and looked outside the guild. Outside the gate of the Fairy Tail guild, a blond boy who looked about thirteen or fourteen years old was putting his hands in his pockets, preparing to return to the guild…

That’s right, the person who came was Laxus who had just completed the job. These days, he has been accepting crusade jobs and eliminated many monsters, just to hone his strength until he can defeat Evan.

“It will be very troublesome if Laxus sees me…” Evan said to herself, “So, I’m sorry Laxus, you should not come in until I choose a job!”

A huge gravity fell on the body of Laxus who was about to enter the guild.

“Boom!”

In an instant, in front of the gate of the Fairy Tail guild, a large pit in the shape of a human appeared. With a frightened expression on his face, Laxus was pressed to the ground, his cheeks pressed against the ground.

“It’s okay for now… You lie there on your stomach!”

As Evan said that, he flew up to the second floor lightly.

In fact, Evan is doing this for the good of Laxus. Otherwise, Evan would have to spend some time to kill Laxus in seconds. How troublesome~
