Fairy Tail: Collapsing Stars

Chapter 18 - The storm has passed!

“Guild Master, calm down…”

Macao looked at the furious Guild Master, sighed, and with a smile on his face, he walked up to Makarov, persuading him.

“Calm down?! Do you know what job this bastard Gildarts is going to perform? He actually took Evan to carry out that job in the Gale Mountain Range…” Makarov looked at Macao seriously.

“The Gale Mountain Range… I remember that there seemed to be traces of Wyverns found there, causing all the passing caravans to be attacked! That’s why the Merchant Association issued a reward, and the reward is relatively high among jobs of the same level… However, considering the danger of the Gale Mountain Range itself, and the fact that Wyverns are very difficult to deal with, no one took up this job for several months after it was released… However, this job should not be a big problem for Gildarts or Evan, right? After all, that job was not an S-Class job at first, but because no one was doing it, the Merchant Association increased the bounty and changed the level of difficulty. It’s a pity to be promoted to S-Class! If the bounty was so high when I was in A-Class, maybe I would have gone…”

Macao muttered that he originally wanted to go too, but considering that the Gale Mountain Range was too far away, he never left.

“That’s not the problem! The real danger is not the flying dragon! The real danger is Gildarts and Evan! If the two of them work together, it’s not impossible to destroy the mountains… It’s not good, my heart can’t take it anymore…”

Makarov clutched his chest, he felt so hard! Even though he was already very old, he still had to act like a sinner. He was often summoned by the Magic Council, and in the end he had to be criticized by a group of people younger than him.

Thinking of this, tears rolled down Makarov’s eyes…

“Guild Master! Guild Master, cheer up! Guild Master!”

“Quick, hurry up and call the doctor…”

For a while, there were rumors in the guild that Makarov fainted because of being too sad…

The reason it is a ‘rumor’ is because everyone simply does not believe that Guild Master Makarov, one of the Ten Wizard Saints, would be stunned by members of his own guild…

“Hoo!!”

The violent wind continued to howl…

This is a mountain range that is always shrouded in strong winds throughout the year. It is called the ‘Scree’ Mountain Range, also known as the Gale Mountain Range!

In the mountains, two figures, one large and one small, kept advancing against the howling wind in front of them!

The miraculous thing is that the strong wind, which is enough to blow young children directly into the sky, appears very gentle in front of the two figures, one big and one small, and it seems that there is a kind of magical power shrouded around the one big and one small, helping them to resist and look at the endless gust of wind in front of them.

“So how far is it! Gildarts!”

That’s right, the big and the young are exactly the two who left Fairy Tail to carry out the S-Class job. They have arrived at the place where the incident happened…

“Probably, maybe…” Gildarts looked at the howling wind around him, thought for a while and replied, “It might be around here…”

“Probably, maybe, perhaps, none of these three words represent an accurate meaning…”

Evan knew at a glance that Gildarts was completely unreliable.

“Speaking of which, the strong wind is a bit too annoying. Since entering this valley, I can’t tell the direction at all. If there is any way to stop the strong wind…”

Gildarts rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

“This is also something that can’t be helped.”

Evan was a little helpless, because of the particularity of the Gust of Wind Valley, all people who enter here need to be guided by local guides.

In order to successfully identify the orientation in the mountains, but because of the flying dragon, the guides are not working, which is the main reason why no one has completed this job for a long time.

“To put it bluntly, the reason for such a strong wind is entirely due to the terrain. It is caused by the special mountain here, that is to say…” Gildarts said here after a pause, the corners of his mouth slightly raised, “It is said that as long as we make the mountains here no longer special, we can stop this strong wind!”

“…”

Evan was a little silent. He probably understood what Gildarts meant.

“Evan, let’s start working! If everything goes well, we can go back tonight!”

As Gildarts said, a white light shone on his hand, and immediately the hundreds of meters high mountain to the left of the two instantly turned into countless fragments.

“Huh…”

With the disappearance of the high mountain, the wind has indeed begun to weaken a bit!

“Evan, what are you waiting for? As the mage of Fairy Tail, no matter what job we do, we must do our best! As the mage of Fairy Tail, no matter what kind of difficulties we encounter, we must overcome them! And keep moving forward! No one can stop us! So try our best to stop the wind, find the flying dragon, and kill it!”

As Gildarts said, another peak turned into countless stones and disappeared from the mountain range.

The wind blocking Gildarts and Evan’s progress is getting smaller and smaller…

“I understand!”

Evan nodded lightly, and then there seemed to be an invisible wave flying up into the sky from his body.

“Boom!!”

In the next second, huge meteorites burning with flames fell from the sky one after another!

“Boom!!”

The moment the meteorite fell into the valley, it razed countless peaks to the ground!

For a while, the wind became a little weaker…

“That’s it! Evan, remember that as a mage, we must be responsible for the jobs of our employers, and do our best to complete the jobs for the employers in the fastest and best way! Because of the flying dragon problem, the caravans have been stagnant for nearly half a year! Since the job has been taken over by our Fairy Tail, we will let them pass through starting today! This is the mage of Fairy Tail!”

Gildarts looked at Evan who kept calling for meteorites, and shouted passionately.

As Gildarts’ enthusiasm soared, the guild stamp on his body seemed to glow with a magical light! Especially after Gildarts said that this is the mage of Fairy Tail, not only Gildarts’ stamp is shining, even Evan’s stamp is shining white light.

“Oh!”

Although Evan didn’t know exactly what happened, his blood became hot for no reason!

Absolutely, he can’t stop at all!

“Boom!”

“Boom!!!”

One after another, one after another, countless meteorites fell from the sky, razing all the high mountains around this wind valley to the ground one by one.

As for some untidy places, Gildarts violently used high-level crushing magic to destroy them into countless pieces.

An hour later, when Evan and Gildarts destroyed the entire mountain range in sevens and eights, they finally saw a family of five wyverns preparing to move as if fleeing for their lives.

“Evan! Come on, do you see the flying dragons? Don’t let them run away from the valley!”

Gildarts looked at the flying dragon in the sky and stopped. He vaguely remembered that his job was to destroy the flying dragon.

“Leave it to me! Eight Meters Jade Magatama!!” As Evan spoke, his body emitted a golden light, and in an instant, countless lasers landed on the dragons’ body.

“Kah!!” The flying dragon uttered screams and fell from the sky…

“Very good!”

“Job completed!”

Looking at the flying dragon that was shot through, Evan and Gildarts showed excited smiles, and then they stretched out their fists and touched each other lightly…

In April, spring of X774, Fairy Tail’s mage Evan and Gildarts completed the S-Class job issued by the Merchant Association “Scree” to kill some flying dragons of the Gale Mountains. The flying dragons disappeared, as well as the entire “Scree’ mountains…

The Magic Council was furious…
