Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 70: Chapter 70: Wolf Rider Squad, Commendation Ceremony

”Brave wolf cavalry warriors, welcome to our ranks!”

”May our territory flourish!”

Zong Shen made a customary remark.

Looking at the six wolf cavalry in front of him.

He then called for the other wolf cavalry in the territory.

Twelve wolf riders lined up, quite imposing!

Zong Shen focused his gaze.

With twelve wolf riders, they can form a Wolf Rider Squad and unlock team skills.

A pack of wolves is always more terrifying than a lone wolf!

[Wolf Rider Twelve-man Squad]

[Skills: Sword Array Charge (Twelve wolf cavalry form a cone-shaped formation and charge forward, covering a distance of 200 meters. During the charge, all wolf riders share life value, with sabres outwards, cutting through all enemies encountered, dealing 1.3 times of slashing damage. Cooling time: 1h) Rushing Wolf lvl10 (Increases movement speed by 20%, life value by 15%, and Giant Wolf jumping ability by 25% for all riders in the squad)]

”Good stuff!”

Zong Shen’s eyes lit up.

The Wolf Rider Squad surely has some potential.

Zong Shen was pleasantly surprised and decided to select one wolf rider as the squad’s captain.

No one was more suitable for this position than his first wolf cavalry, Korby.

”Korby, from now on, you will be the captain of the Wolf Rider Squad.”

”Your performance has earned you rights and honor, and I have rewards to bestow upon you.”

Zong Shen straightforwardly named him.

Riding his giant wolf, Korby proudly dismounted upon hearing Zong Shen’s words.

Respectfully came before Zong Shen.

Kissing the ground by Zong Shen’s feet.

Daring not to look Zong Shen in the eye.

Like Tiezhu, Korby is a confidant soldier with loyalty at maximum.

He genuinely reveres Zong Shen.

Thus, Zong Shen will prioritize cultivating Korby and Tiezhu.

With a flip of his hand, Zong Shen took out a bundle of [Complete Green Soul] and two [Soldier Enhancement Pearls (Green)], handing them to Korby.

At Zong Shen’s prompt, Korby used these items on the spot.

Green soul turned into tiny sparkling green lights, permeating his entire body.

Upgrading his talent from ordinary white to good green.

His attributes immediately increased somewhat.

Then, he used the Soldier Enhancement Pearls, gaining 3 points in strength, 1 point in agility, and 2 points in charm.

At this moment, his attributes had significantly improved from the beginning.

[Wolf Cavalry: Korby]

[Talent: Good]

[Level: 12]

[Attributes: (click to expand)]

[Hunger Level: 86]

[Loyalty: 100]

Zong Shen opened the detailed attributes.

[Strength: 31]

[Agility: 13]

[Wisdom: 8]

[Charm: 10]

[Life Value: 310]

[Slashing Damage: 68]

[Throwing Damage: 41]

[Head Armor Value: 19]

[Upper Body Armor Value: 30]

[Lower Body Armor Value: 9]

[Skills: Cavalry Saber Slash (Next attack slashing damage ×1.5, with an added layer of Wolf Rider Mark)]

The four major attributes have improved.

Damage also increased by several points.

Now he has the qualification to lead the Wolf Rider Squad.

Zong Shen nodded satisfactorily.

Korby also sensed his changes, and with excitement, he bowed once more.

”Thank you, my lord, for nurturing me. I, Korby, am willing to give my life for you!”

Zong Shen waved his hand.

”Alright, alright, stand up.”

”I hope you lead the Wolf Rider Squad well, becoming a sharp blade for our territory!”

He encouraged him a little, and Korby was deeply inspired, got up, and retreated to the middle of the Wolf Rider team, subtly leading the wolf riders by half a step.

The other soldiers also showed expressions of envy.

”Tiezhu, Bjorn, Avid, come over too.”

Zong Shen called them by name once more.

The trio came before Zong Shen and bowed respectfully.

Zong Shen took out three bundles of [Complete Green Soul], granting them to the three.

The Green Soul is only effective on Ordinary Talent, and currently, apart from those farmers, only the Wolf Cavalry and Tiezhu have Ordinary Talent.

It is naturally preferable to reward those veteran soldiers who have followed him longer.

The trio successfully improved their talent to good, enhancing their attributes.

[Due to your reward]

[Wolf Cavalry Bjorn’s loyalty to you increased by 10 points, current loyalty: 90]

[Wolf Cavalry Avid’s loyalty to you increased by 13 points, current loyalty: 83]

Now there’s only one [Complete Green Soul] left, and Zong Shen decided to temporarily keep it for future rewards.

Sensible rewards undoubtedly establish examples and boost everyone’s morale.

After receiving their rewards, Zong Shen again offered some words of encouragement.

Then he announced three more names.

”Luna, Tasuya, Favide, all of you come over.”

The trio showed a bit of surprise on their faces, tonight’s Zong Shen was apparently rewarding based on merit.

Being called by Zong Shen not only signifies rewards but also honors.

The three of them came forward respectfully and bowed.

Zong Shen took out the last six [Soldier Enhancement Pearls (Green)].

Distributed two pearls each.

The trio immediately used them, each gaining six random basic attributes.

[Due to your reward]

[Dark Night Female Hunter Luna’s loyalty to you increased by 7 points, current loyalty: 100]

[Necromancer Tasuya’s loyalty to you increased by 10 points, current loyalty: 88]

[Fire Mage Avid’s loyalty to you increased by 10 points, current loyalty: 90]

Good, as Zong Shen’s second soldier, Luna’s affinity also reached Max. These soldiers with full loyalty will be prioritized in cultivation.

Even the aloof Tasuya and Favide, who were rescued and recruited from the dungeon, reached around 90 loyalty points.

Both Mages’ output capabilities are currently MVPs of the territory, strong magic causing massive damage.

Zong Shen has considered focusing resources on cultivating Mages.

However, as a Lord, he has more issues to consider.

The territory is never just a lord’s territory. It’s better to boost collective combat power than to cultivate two oligarch soldiers.

Another is the issue of human psychology.

Establishing a proper reward mechanism and positive examples undoubtedly boosts the whole territory’s enthusiasm.

The combined benefits far exceed cultivating an extremely strong oligarch soldier.

Judging by the current situation, this decision is very correct.

After encouraging the trio with a few words, he commenced the last wave of reward distribution.

”Lensa Shuizhao, Mapple, Madeleine, you guys come by too.”

The trio felt a bit surprised.

They are all considered new members, not as seasoned as the prior rewarded old members.

They came before Zong Shen and bowed.

Zong Shen took out all six [Soldier Enhancement Pearl (White)].

Distributed two pearls each as a reward.

[Due to your reward]

[Sharp Claw Druid Lenza Shuizhao’s loyalty to you increased by 6 points, current loyalty: 79]

[Dragon-kin Ranger Mapple/Madeleine’s loyalty to you increased by 6 points, current loyalty: 76]

With this merit-based reward distribution, Zong Shen not only strengthened the soldiers’ capabilities but also successfully created a positive atmosphere.
