Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 68: Chapter 68: Nighttime Deployment, Formation of the Hunting Squad

After taking care of these matters.

The time had reached nine o’clock in the evening.

Zong Shen stood up and took a few steps forward.

He immediately attracted the attention of some soldiers.

Such as Tiezhu, Korby, and the Ranger Sisters; they all instinctively looked at Zong Shen.

Zong Shen looked around and straightforwardly said.

”I’m planning to organize a night hunting team, for about three hours, to go out with me and hunt those crazed wild beasts outside.”

”Of course, since everyone has worked hard during the day, this expedition is based on volunteer principles. Raise your hand if you’d like to go.”

As soon as he finished speaking, the soldiers present all raised their hands.

Except for Sharp Claw Druid Lensa and the two mages, Tasuya and Favide.

The other soldiers unanimously agreed to go on the expedition with Zong Shen.

Especially the two Dragon-kin Ranger Sisters.

Both the elder sister Mapple and the younger sister Madeleine showed an extreme enthusiasm for combat.

As for the three soldiers unwilling to participate, Zong Shen could understand.

Though the two mages have strong output, their stamina isn’t as robust as close combat soldiers; after a day of walking, trudging, and fighting, they are indeed very tired.

And Sharp Claw Druid Lensa Shattered Claw was unwilling to actively kill wild beasts, as a druid who worships the Goddess of Nature, wild beasts are also a part of nature.

”Very well, you all are commendable.”

”We won’t stray too far, just around the territory, to kill those crazed wild beasts outside and bring some gains to the territory.”

”Now, Shattered Claw, Tasuya, Favide, the three of you are responsible for guarding the territory and killing any enemies that invade.”

”In case of any situation, immediately shelter the farmers into the courtyard to avoid danger.”

Zong Shen spoke calmly and unhurriedly.

The two mages and Sharp Claw Druid all stood up and slightly bowed to Zong Shen.

”Lord, may you achieve resounding success, we will certainly guard the territory well.”

Zong Shen nodded, while his gaze drifted to the Blacksmith Uncle gnawing on bear meat nearby.

”Dwarf Uncle, tomorrow I will provide you with a batch of materials, please use your high-level blacksmith skills to forge some equipment for us, moreover, I also have two basic equipment blueprints to offer you.”

Upon hearing Zong Shen personally speak.

Copperbeard·Wine Fire finally put down the wine jar and leisurely stood up.

”Rest assured, Lord, I will certainly contribute my strength at the blacksmith position.”

Zong Shen nodded, watching the Dwarf Uncle’s comical expression of being both greedy for Green Forest Fruit Wine yet reluctant to drink it, he conveniently took out two small jars of [Exquisite Rum] and handed them to him.

The Dwarf Uncle’s eyes lit up; while not as good as Green Forest Fruit Wine, rum was still just right to satiate his thirst for wine.

Finished arranging this, Zong Shen then brought out the [Tier One Elemental Arrow Tower Blueprint], which was dropped after he eliminated the Bear Shaman today.

He quickly walked to the edge of the territory building, roughly evaluated the position, and decided to build this arrow tower on the side where the buildings were more densely packed, to strengthen defense.

He also called over three nimble-looking farmers, assigning one as the main builder and two as assistants; the trio worked together, increasing efficiency by 40%.

Calculating it, it only requires about 3 hours to complete.

This was not all; he also brought out three [Wolf Cavalry Recruitment Scrolls], acquired from the previous territory expansion mission.

With prior recruitment experience, Zong Shen was especially adept this time.

He discovered that in his area, the spawn rate of Wolf Cavalry was extraordinarily high, especially when killing wolves, Wolf Cavalry had almost become a signature unit here.

Thinking it through, Wolf Cavalry were indeed robust and practical; Zong Shen wanted to seize an opportunity to organize a twelve-member Wolf Cavalry Squad.

He simultaneously chose to use the three Recruitment Scrolls in hand.

Three hexagram arrays appeared at the same time.

Three masses of black light began to writhe.

”Howl!”

As the wolf howl occurred, the black light began to contract.

Revealing three sturdy wolf-mounted figures.

The three robust Wolf Riders dismounted their giant wolves, leading them to walk before Zong Shen, kneeling down on one knee.

”Wolf Cavalry Korrell reporting to you!”

”Wolf Cavalry Kobert reporting to you!”

”Wolf Cavalry Koggs reporting to you!”

Three rough voices sounded one after another.

”Great Lord, may you be in good health!”

Indeed, all three Wolf Cavalry had the surname Kao.

Adding Korby, there were four Wolf Cavalry with ’Kao’ as the beginning of their name in the territory.

Zong Shen pondered for a while before nodding.

”Welcome to the group, I hope we can build a great territory together!”

Four ’Kao’ names, too difficult to recall.

Korby, as his first soldier, left a strong impression on him.

Regarding the three Wolf Cavalry in front of him, Zong Shen was thinking about their names.

He started to carefully survey each one.

”Korrell?”

”Lord, I’m here!”

Zong Shen called out, Korrell was a bald man with no beard, highly recognizable.

”Kobert?”

”Lord, ready to serve at your command!”

This Kobert sported a distinctive handlebar mustache, also highly recognizable.

”Koggs?”

”Great Lord, may you enjoy health all year round!”

Koggs had a noticeable scar on his forehead.

After observing a few more moments, it suddenly became easier to remember.

The three Wolf Cavalry silently exchanged glances, eyeing the territory, respectfully nodding.

”Very well, the three of you will accompany me on the hunt tonight.”

”Korby, Bjorn, Avid, you three can rest tonight.”

Zong Shen withdrew the three veteran soldiers.

The Wolf Cavalry had carried most of the battle load today, almost accompanying Zong Shen in all his fights throughout the day.

The arrival of these three Kaos was timely, allowing for the replacement of the three veteran soldiers.

”Very good, our night hunting team is officially established!”

”Long-range attacks will be handled by the sisters Mazar and Madeleine, while close combat will involve the three Kaos, Tiezhu, Luna, and myself.”

”Tiezhu, you navigate through the shadows, supporting the Ranger Sisters; everyone else maintain your positions.”

Zong Shen issued the final instructions.

Leading everyone to gear up and step into the night.

The night, it was essentially Luna and Tiezhu’s domain.

Especially Luna, as the Dark Night Female Hunter, her silhouette astride the Black Panther was ghostly.

The group departed the territory directly, advancing several hundred meters, the howls of wild beasts in the surroundings became more evident and dense.

Looking toward the nearby grasslands, they could see many eyes reflecting amber light.

There were also numerous shadows, running and entangling.

These shadows varied in size, all seemed very agitated, constantly moving back and forth.

Some even fought among themselves.

Zong Shen could even see, occasionally a crazed shadow would intrude within a 500-meter range of the territory, get attacked by the arrow towers, and escape in pain.

Most of the frenzied wild beasts instinctively dared not to approach Zong Shen’s territory.
