I'm an Unknown Actress, But Everyone Knows Me

Manager Ma monitored the reactions.

“Knew this would happen.”

Compared to the beginning, when Han Yeoreum’s casting had first been announced, the negative responses had almost completely disappeared. It was thanks to the dubbing-behind-the-scenes video JC ENM had uploaded together with the teaser trailer.

-This is why it’s Disney LMAO They nailed the casting again

-Please hurry..T_T The Korean release is way too late

-Lee Yongcheol seriously feels like a real scammer

˪LMAOOOO Ah seriously

˪You want to debut as a singer, right? Then first you need to pay the reservation deposit. What’s the reservation deposit? Recording fees, songwriting fees, dancer fees, stuff like that. The company takes it as a formality in case you irresponsibly get into scandals or something. We’ll give it back later.

˪Holy shit someone arrest this man

-Han Yeoreum is better than I expected though? The people who left hate comments when she first got cast should reflect on themselves lolol

˪She only says one line, what exactly are you judging to say she’s good

˪It’s literally a role with one line, asshole. You people beat her up like she got cast as the lead, seriously so damn dramatic tsk tsk

The current film industry was in a state without any major hits. Not just Korean movies, even foreign films were all performing around the same level. The ambitious Lunar New Year releases had only managed a disappointing five million admissions.

So naturally, attention had no choice but to gather around this year’s most anticipated film, .

And the trailer received an immediate response.

[HOT/People are saying everyone today completely devoured their assigned character in Funny Bunny Harmony.jpg]

Especially that scammer tiger, people are going crazy asking if they literally hired a real con artist lololol

-Anonymous 1: The casting seriously fits perfectly LMAO

-Anonymous 5: I fucking love Kim Seongeun. This kinda sounds like creepy old-man talk but he fits the sexy older-sister character way too well...T_T Love you

˪Anonymous 12: I really don’t wanna describe it like that but fuck, I know EXACTLY what you mean so it’s pissing me off TT_TT LMAO

-Anonymous 18: Didn’t Lee Yongcheol do a role like this before too?

˪Anonymous 25: Yeah, I think the character was called William or something

˪Anonymous 32: Not William, Wellington. And what Wellington is, is this role Lee Yongcheol dubbed like he was literally possessed. And I say possessed because if you locked the Japanese voice actor and Lee Yongcheol in a colosseum and said “Only the real one survives,” even Japanese otaku admitted Lee Yongcheol would probably come out alive, and anyway this character is—

˪Anonymous 49: OP please delete this post I’m scared this site’s gonna look THIS much like an otaku forum holy shit

-Anonymous 58: But Han Yeoreum really is good though? I watched the trailer and considering how insanely hard she got flamed at first, she’s actually pretty decent..

In the dubbing-behind-the-scenes video, Han Yeoreum properly delivered Lala’s self-introduction. Her voice sounded as if she had completely become one with the character.

Thanks to that, not only did the Intube behind-the-scenes video perform well, it also managed to calm the communities where negative public opinion had been spreading.

[Anonymous Chat Board/Guess the people who were exhausting everyone over Han Yeoreum are gonna shut up now]

It was so obvious certain people kept trying to manipulate public opinion anonymously lolol They kept whining that the movie was ruined because an actress joined the dubbing cast, like what do you want people to do

-For real. A few people were grinding their teeth copy-pasting the same shit over and over, they need to chill

-LOLOL There are actually tons of movies ruined because actors and idols joined dubbing casts though^^

˪So what the hell does that have to do with Han Yeoreum? Go scream over there then

“Gooood~. Now it’s time.”

Manager Ma smiled as he monitored the reactions. At last, the moment had arrived.

“A fan meeting.”

Han Yeoreum’s solo fan meeting.

This year was the perfect timing.

Using to erase the empty gap before entering , then successfully finishing her first romantic comedy together with the hidden card named Hwang Boseok.

There would never be a better moment for a fan meeting than that.

“Ah~. She’s really grown up so well. When someone grows exactly the way you raise them, how can I not work myself to death for them?”

Manager Ma cracked his stiff neck from side to side. Han Yeoreum’s growth speed could honestly be called the best among actresses her age.

There was an unspoken rule in the entertainment industry: male actors survived off fandoms, while female actresses survived off public recognition.

Male actors’ fandoms were usually made up of women. Most of them were powerful core consumers.

Thanks to that, once a male actor entered the rising-star category, even in his first or second year, he could hold a fan meeting. Because there was demand.

Meanwhile, solo fan meetings for actresses were impossible unless they were top-tier stars.

They needed at least three major hit roles worthy of being called “lifetime characters.”

And Han Yeoreum had succeeded in that.

“Probably Seoryeong, Huijae, and Yuna.”

Since every project in Han Yeoreum’s filmography had succeeded, everyone’s favorite role differed, but the strongest core fandom had gathered around those three.

Especially . Even though it had the lowest ratings among Han Yeoreum’s projects, there were still people hopelessly obsessed with Yuna.

Input: Cutie, once you’re back in Korea let’s start the fan meeting hehe Solo. One. hehe

Manager Ma sent Han Yeoreum a message.

“So do well over there.”

The next project, and the one after that. Whatever it was, as long as Han Yeoreum entered it, he would make sure no negative response could possibly remain.

Manager Ma smiled as he watched the disappearing “1” mark.

-Han Yeoreum is so freaking cute TT_TT She would’ve dominated even if she became an idol

-02:24 on infinite replay, am I insane

-So cute~ and lovable, my actress♥︎ Anyone who went to the fan meeting knows...^^ just how sincere and hardworking our actress is about acting hehe I’ll keep supporting you forever. Summer Day loves you

-An idol talent stolen by the acting industry. Please return her now.

-I think it is unfair ✧ NоvеIight ✧ (Original source) that Yeoreum Unnie’s fan meeting was held only in Korea. We are waiting in Taiwan!

‘Ah.... I want to start the fan meeting tomorrow already....’

By the time she finished planning fan meeting ideas throughout the entire flight, they had already arrived in Macau. She had no idea how many “If it were me” simulations she had run in her head while watching actors’ fan meeting videos.

So a day like this could really come in Han Yeoreum’s life.

‘First entrance wearing the exact costume of one of my characters, then changing outfits during guest time and acting as another character, dancing and singing while everyone’s busy filming fancams, reading letters, and preparing endless content....’

And that wasn’t all.

Behind-the-scenes stories from productions, revealing the playlists she listened to before immersing herself in roles, giving out unreleased photocards—

That still wasn’t the end.

Encore songs from and .

Still not enough.

Lucky draw time, Q&A, additional—

“Hey. What are you thinking about that’s making you smile like that?”

“There’s something.”

“Why are you keeping secrets from me?”

Joo Junseo’s eyes narrowed upward by ten degrees.

After arriving at Macau International Airport, I looked around. It wasn’t to the level of Taiwan, but there were still fans waiting.

“Junseo!”

“Juuuunseo—!”

...So they weren’t waiting for me.

Fans who came all the way to the airport were truly core fans.

Coming all the way here on a weekday required far more effort than people imagined.

‘But did pretty well in Hong Kong too....’

Maybe reaching the level of core fans was still impossible. Her public recognition was decent, though. Thinking about it, after succeeded overseas, Senior Junseo had already held several overseas solo fan meetings.

Maybe that was why his loyal fanbase was so strong.

“Junseo! Junseo!”

An endless stream of autograph requests and gifts poured toward Senior Junseo as he walked ahead. I missed Taiwan, where people called my name everywhere, so, so much, but it was okay.

‘Someday there’ll be countless Summer Days here too, seeing only Han Yeoreum.’

So she couldn’t miss even the tiniest chance for fan service. People often started liking someone after unexpectedly meeting them in person. I shook every hand stretched out between the security guards.

‘Everyone. Please come to Han Yeoreum’s solo fan meeting someday.’

Thinking of them as future Summer Days made her not want to let go.

“...Excuse me... please let go of my hand.”

Only after receiving a warning from a local guard did she finally release them. Please don’t forget me. Let’s meet again someday.

The moment they stepped outside the airport, Cantonese and English filled the air. Only then did it truly feel real that they had arrived in Macau.

“Colt! Hurry up and get over here!”

Following Kwak Cheolsik’s shout, I climbed into the black van.

On the way toward the Cotai Strip, I stared out the window at the scenery.

“Senior Junseo, you came here when filming , right?”

“Yeah, I did. You remember that? It was three years ago.”

“Of course I remember! I really wanted to come do an overseas shoot too. Wow... so this is what it feels like to come on location. This is insane.”

“Didn’t Colt go on location during ?”

“That was Senior Eun Baekhap. I stayed in Jinhae.”

“Then since we’re here, make sure to look around a little. Efficiently~.”

“We need to drag this kid to the filming set first! Director Gong’s anxiety disorder started acting up again.”

Kwak Cheolsik laughed loudly as he slapped my back.

On the way to the hotel, Roman-style buildings crowded around the ferry terminal.

Back during , they had all been sets, but this time everything was real.

The scale was completely different, and at the same time, it made her realize she was participating in a production of this magnitude. The power of an overseas shoot was overwhelming.

“....”

“Close your mouth. A fly’s gonna get in.”

It looked as though the scenery had been copied directly from Venice. The colosseum-like architecture made it feel unmistakably like Macau.

“That’s the Campanile tower. And apparently that bridge was modeled after the Rialto Bridge~.”

“Senior Hyeonjo, have you been here before?”

“Not for gambling. Inefficient. But I searched things up before coming.”

Together with Senior Hyeonjo’s explanation, we headed toward the hotel.

‘The place where I’ll stay as Influencer 1.’

I needed to remember this feeling.

So that when I stood in front of the camera, I could properly become Influencer 1, excited beyond belief after arriving on a trip.

I constantly turned my head, taking everything in. It was dazzling.

So bright and glamorous that it made her think the shadows must be just as deep as the light.

The entire hotel glittered gold. Ceiling paintings and murals reminiscent of the Renaissance era spun around dizzyingly.

The dome-shaped structure looked like it was imitating holiness, yet it felt far removed from reverence.

Probably because of the chaotic golden globe-like statue placed in the center, with water flowing beneath it.

“We’re heeere....”

Director Gong, who had come out to greet them, looked even paler than before as he smiled emotionally.

“I’ve been waiting...!”

Familiar faces. Familiar actors. In this unfamiliar place, I once again became Influencer 1.
