Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Li Mingxi said: ”I’m here to see Ruan Tianling, he’s not home, is he?”

”Yeah.”

”Ask him if he has time, if so, have him come back for a bit.”

Li Mingxi specifically came to find Ruan Tianling, so it must be something important. Jian Yufei immediately called Ruan Tianling to ask if he was free to come back now.

Summoned by the wife, Ruan Tianling naturally had time; he said he’d be back right away.

Jian Yufei hung up the phone and smiled: ”He’ll be back soon.”

While waiting for Ruan Tianling to return, Li Mingxi chatted casually with Jian Yufei.

Before long, Ruan Tianling returned.

He walked into the living room and directly asked Jian Yufei: ”You called me back, is there something going on?”

Jian Yufei laughed: ”It’s not me looking for you, it’s Cousin looking for you.”

Li Mingxi nodded: ”There’s something important I want to discuss with you. Can we talk in your study?”

Obviously, she didn’t want Jian Yufei to hear.

Ruan Tianling nodded in agreement: ”Let’s go.”

Jian Yufei said to Li Mingxi: ”Cousin, stay for lunch before you leave.”

”Don’t worry, I came today just to get a free meal.”

Li Mingxi laughed and finished speaking, then went to the study with Ruan Tianling.

...

Sitting in the study, Ruan Tianling asked what was the matter.

Li Mingxi straightforwardly said: ”I want to sell the hospital. Can you take over?”

Ruan Tianling looked at her in surprise.

Li Mingxi’s hospital was her life’s work; she had managed it for ten years. How could she decide to sell it just like that?

”Why do you want to sell it?” Ruan Tianling asked, puzzled.

Li Mingxi crossed her legs and smiled: ”I’m too tired. You see, I haven’t even solved my personal problems, where do I have the time to run a hospital? I’m not selling it all; I’ll keep some shares for retirement.”

”Your hospital, the system is mature by now, shouldn’t require much of your time.”

”Anyway, I don’t want to be this exhausted anymore. From now on, I just want to live easily. If you’re interested, take it over. Just find someone to be the dean.”

Ruan Tianling asked uncertainly: ”Have you thought it over?”

”Yes, I’ve already thought it over.” Li Mingxi replied very firmly.

Although she was very reluctant to sell the hospital, she truly didn’t have the energy to run it anymore.

Now she doesn’t want to do anything but relax and take care of her health.

Ruan Tianling thought for a moment and said: ”I don’t have much interest in hospitals, plus I have shares in the city’s Number One Hospital, no need to manage others. But I can help you find someone, maybe others are interested.”

Li Mingxi was a bit disappointed.

She wanted to sell the hospital, but she was reluctant to sell it to outsiders.

Selling it to Ruan Tianling, at least it’s still in the family.

Selling it to others, then her hard work truly becomes someone else’s.

But Ruan Tianling is also right; he doesn’t need to waste time managing a hospital.

If it has to be sold, then it’s best to part with love.

”Okay, keep an eye out for me. The sooner it can be sold, the better.”

”Are you selling the hospital really to free up more time to handle personal issues?” Ruan Tianling still doubted.

Li Mingxi is a standard strong woman; he thought she couldn’t sell a hospital just to get married.

Even if she did get married, he believed she could manage both family and career.

Li Mingxi rolled her eyes at him: ”Dear, your son is already making soy sauce, and I’m not married yet. Don’t you think I should hurry up a bit?”
