Fated to My Billionaire Husband

”If you like it, just have it delivered to your home.”

”Ruan Tianling did have it sent twice, but eating at home just doesn’t taste right. It’s better to come out and eat; it tastes better.”

Li Mingxi teased her, ”You just want to eat something fresh.”

”Yes, exactly for the freshness.”

The two chatted and laughed, and soon the car arrived at the restaurant entrance.

Li Mingxi helped Jian Yufei out of the car, and they walked into the restaurant, where a waiter immediately came up to greet them.

The restaurant’s decor style is all refreshing Han Dynasty.

Even the waiter is dressed in Han Chinese clothing.

Beautiful guzheng music wafts through the restaurant, giving people a sense of being transported to the Han Dynasty.

Li Mingxi felt a breath of fresh air as soon as she walked in.

”This place is nice.” She smiled.

”You think it’s nice too, right? I’ve been here once, and I fell in love with it at first sight. The style here is all Chinese, but the ambiance isn’t at all dull and heavy, instead, it feels very comfortable and delightful. The private room I booked is next to the garden. Once you see the scenery in the garden, you’ll like it even more.”

Jian Yufei introduced the place all the way, and soon she and Li Mingxi entered the private room.

Opening the quaint wooden door, the spacious private room has a refreshing scent of wooden furniture.

The room has bamboo and orchid painted screens, blue and white porcelain vases, and landscape paintings hanging on the walls.

Although many of the items might not necessarily be from the Han Dynasty.

The feeling really transports people back to over two thousand years ago.

Giving a sense of returning to simplicity.

...

The table is placed by the window.

Jian Yufei and Li Mingxi walked over and immediately saw the view outside the window.

Small bridge and flowing water, pavilion and plantain, everything is in ancient style.

Li Mingxi couldn’t help but exclaim, ”The environment here is really nice.”

”Cousin, sit down. We can enjoy the view while eating.” Jian Yufei first sat down on the large Taishi Chair.

To provide a more comfortable experience for guests, the Taishi Chair is made of woven rattan, sitting on it is not hard at all, soft and very comfortable.

The waiter brought the menu for them to order.

Jian Yufei unabashedly ordered a lot, and Li Mingxi ordered a few dishes as well.

”Don’t put MSG in these dishes. Just a glass of plain water is fine for me later.” Jian Yufei instructed the waiter.

”Okay, please wait a moment, both of you.” The waiter took the menu and left.

Shortly after, the waiter came over with tea.

Li Mingxi received Longjing tea, while Jian Yufei got a glass of plain boiled water.

Li Mingxi smelled the fresh tea aroma and smiled, ”This restaurant is really extravagant, even the tea is Longjing.”

Jian Yufei laughed and said, ”But eating here isn’t cheap at all, the tea cost is naturally included in the meal price.”

”True, I wonder who owns this restaurant.” Li Mingxi was a bit curious.

Jian Yufei’s eyes slightly moved, ”Who cares who owns it, as long as we’re happy eating here.”

”If it’s really good, I’ll come regularly in the future...”

Jian Yufei and Li Mingxi drank tea as they chatted and waited.

Before long, all the dishes were served.

Jian Yufei eagerly picked up sour bamboo shoots with her chopsticks.

After taking a bite, she contentedly squinted her eyes, ”So delicious. Cousin, try it, it’s really good.”

Li Mingxi tried a bite too and praised it endlessly.

However, she preferred another dish, the specially made snail meat.
