Fated to My Billionaire Husband

He naturally knew that Li Mingxi was a very nice person.

At least for him, she was a very suitable marriage partner.

She wouldn’t fall in love with him, wouldn’t cause him trouble, and was even good to Doudou.

If he married her, he wouldn’t need to be responsible for the marriage, and could exit or pause it at any time.

It had to be said, Li Mingxi was too perfect for him.

However, he was not sure if he was suitable for Li Mingxi.

Besides, Li Mingxi hadn’t said she would marry him yet.

Li Qian thought about it and then smiled. He decided to go with the flow, whatever happens, happens, right?

...

”Dinner’s ready.” With the meal prepared, Li Qian walked out of the kitchen with a tray.

Doudou cheered, ”Dinner time!”

”Doudou, tell Auntie to wash her hands before eating.” Li Qian instructed the little one.

”Doudou, tell Auntie to wash her hands before eating.” Doudou repeated Li Qian’s words to Li Mingxi.

Li Mingxi smiled and took his little hand, ”Doudou, come and wash your hands with Auntie, okay?”

”Doudou, come and wash your hands with Auntie, okay?”

The little guy repeated again.

Li Qian, amused, glared at him, ”So cheeky for such a little guy.”

Doudou giggled, ”So cheeky for such a little guy.”

Li Mingxi picked him up and headed to the bathroom, ”Doudou, why are you so cute?”

”Doudou, why are you so cute...”

Li Qian shook his head fondly; this son, truly adorable.

After washing hands, Li Mingxi carried Doudou to the dining table and sat down.

Li Qian had already served the food for them.

Looking at the hearty dishes, Li Mingxi praised, ”Li Qian, your cooking skills are really good.”

Li Qian said proudly, ”I’m not bad, right? Marry me, and you’ll enjoy good food for life.”

”You think a few dishes can win me over? No way.”

Li Mingxi laughed and refuted, then picked up some food to eat.

Li Qian’s cooking was excellent, but Li Mingxi still felt Xiao Lang’s cooking was better.

Xiao Lang could cook too, and was more versatile.

No matter which woman married him, she would be very happy.

At the thought of Xiao Lang, Li Mingxi’s mood soured, but she didn’t show it.

...

After dinner, Li Qian played with Doudou.

The little one loved playing with his dad the most, but now he had another playmate, Li Mingxi.

The three of them played basketball, with Doudou kicking the basketball like a soccer ball, having a blast.

Li Mingxi, tired from playing, sat on the couch to rest.

Doudou, however, was full of energy, seemingly never tired.

Watching them for a while, Li Mingxi asked Li Qian, ”When do you plan to tell your family about Doudou?”

Li Qian paused for a moment in his movements, ”I’ll tell them after I get married.”

”Why wait until then?”

”Because by then, they won’t be able to control me. Also, I plan to settle in the United States after I get married; being married will make it easier to take care of Doudou. By that time, whether my family accepts Doudou or not won’t matter.”

”So you’re going to the United States.”

Li Qian nodded and then joked, ”If you marry me, I’ll agree to let you stay in A City, and we’ll live apart.”

Li Mingxi laughed heartily, ”I bet they’d scold you to death.”

”They only demand that we get married, they can’t control how we live afterward, right?”

”Actually, you could just live in A City.”

”That works too. Anyway, I don’t mind, as long as things are good for Doudou.”

Li Mingxi couldn’t help but ask him, ”Have you really never thought about finding Doudou’s mom?”
