Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Because Jian Yufei had the phone on speaker, Ruan Tianling also heard what Ansel said.

He drove with one hand and stretched out the other.

”Give me the phone.”

Jian Yufei thought he wanted to talk to Ansel himself, so she hurriedly handed him the phone.

Ruan Tianling said casually into the phone, ”Your daddy and mommy have never had a honeymoon in their whole lives, so we’re planning to go on one. Don’t come and play third wheel.”

”Daddy!”

”What, you even want to tag along on our honeymoon?”

Ansel was speechless.

Ruan Tianling coaxed him lightly, ”Be good and stay home. We’ll buy presents for you guys when we get back. Be good, okay?”

”Daddy, I’m not some three- or four-year-old kid anymore. You can’t buy me off with presents.”

Ruan Tianling immediately switched to a cool tone. ”Since you know you’re not a three- or four-year-old kid, you should be even more sensible and stop acting willful like a little child.”

Ansel: ”...”

So this was called lifting a rock only to smash his own foot, huh?

”That’s that, I’m hanging up.” Ruan Tianling hung up just like that.

”All right, it’s settled.” He gave Jian Yufei a faint smile.

Jian Yufei was utterly speechless at him.

In front of their son, why did he always act even more childish than the kid?

”Ruan Tianling, you’re actually only three years old, aren’t you,” Jian Yufei suddenly said.

Ruan Tianling glared at her, both embarrassed and annoyed.

...

The sky gradually darkened.

Ruan Tianling wasn’t in a hurry to make more distance. He parked the RV by the roadside, planning to rest there for the night.

It was her first time spending the night in an RV, and Jian Yufei was quite excited.

She went to the bathroom to shower, then walked toward the bedroom wearing the bathrobe Ruan Tianling had prepared for her.

”You actually planned this a long time ago, didn’t you?” Jian Yufei sat down by the bed and asked a certain someone.

Otherwise why would there be a change of clothes for her here, and even all her usual toiletries already prepared?

Ruan Tianling found a hairdryer and took the initiative to dry her hair for her.

He admitted generously, ”Yeah, I’ve been wanting to take you on a trip alone for a while.”

Jian Yufei waited until he finished drying her hair, then took the comb and started brushing it herself.

”Since when did you start plotting?”

Ruan Tianling blinked. ”Take a guess.”

Jian Yufei stared at him, smiling yet not smiling. ”A week ago, right?”

Ruan Tianling was slightly surprised—

”When you found out the baby is a girl, that’s when you started plotting, right?”

Though Jian Yufei phrased it as a question, her tone was very certain.

Ruan Tianling sat down in front of her. ”Wifey, how did you figure that out?”

At first she really hadn’t thought that much about it.

But later, she worked it all out.

”That’s easy. You haven’t been back for long. As soon as you came back, I was diagnosed as pregnant. At that time, you definitely weren’t thinking about taking me out traveling.”

”It wasn’t until a week ago, when we learned I’m carrying a daughter, and you didn’t want anyone else to know the baby is a girl, but I didn’t want to lie to my family. Then we made that one-week agreement.

Back then you agreed way too readily. For Mr. Ruan, who would almost get down on his knees just to hide the existence of his daughter, to agree that readily... you definitely had some scheme.

Your scheme was that the one-week period was just a stalling tactic. Once time was up, you’d think of some other way to stop me from telling the truth.

And today just happens to be the last day of our agreement, so your plan from the start was to take me traveling so I wouldn’t be with my family and wouldn’t be able to tell them the truth, right?”

Jian Yufei stared at Ruan Tianling, just short of copying Shinichi Kudo and saying, ”The culprit is you, Mr. Ruan Tianling!”
