Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Jian Yufei kept chatting idly. ”But why did you suddenly decide to take me on a trip?”

”I’ve got more free time lately.”

That answer... didn’t really hold water.

”I want the truth.”

Ruan Tianling hooked his lips in a wicked smile. ”It really is because I’ve got time lately. And also, I want to take you and our baby on a trip. Don’t you think that’s meaningful?”

Jian Yufei was full of black lines. ”Your daughter hasn’t even been born yet. You take her traveling now, she has no idea.”

”It’s fine, I’ll take photos and videos all the way. When she grows up I’ll show them to her.”

”Then you can wait till she’s born and take her traveling.”

Ruan Tianling gave her a helpless look. ”Wifey, this isn’t going to be our first trip, and it won’t be our last. Of course I’ll take our daughter out in the future.”

”Then what are you so anxious about now?”

”Of course I’m anxious. I finally have a daughter; I just want to take her out to play. You want me to wait till she’s born, I can’t wait that long. And your body’s in just the right condition now. If we don’t go out at this stage, once your belly gets big it’ll be even more impossible to go anywhere.”

Jian Yufei was speechless. ”Ruan Tianling, your love for your daughter has already reached the point of spoiling her rotten.”

Ruan Tianling fondly rubbed her head.

”Jealous? Actually, in my heart, you’re still the most important one. What I really want is to take you out. But you happen to be carrying my little lover in your belly. Wife and little lover combined into one, I really can’t control myself.”

So had she upgraded from queen treatment to Empress Dowager treatment now?

Jian Yufei actually wasn’t jealous at all.

She just felt he was spoiling his daughter way too much, while he was so strict with his sons. The contrast was so huge she couldn’t accept it.

”If only you could treat Ansel and Junqi this well too.” Jian Yufei muttered.

”Sons should be raised tough, daughters should be raised rich. Only then can the sons grow up to be someone like me, and the daughter grow up like a Princess.” Ruan Tianling said with a perfectly serious face.

Jian Yufei said casually, ”Daughters should be raised well, sure, but you can’t overly spoil her, or she might turn into an unreasonable rich little princess.”

”That won’t happen.” Ruan Tianling answered with total confidence. ”You and I both know how to raise her. She absolutely won’t turn into what you’re imagining.”

Jian Yufei felt that what Ruan Tianling said was right.

Even though he doted on his daughter, he wouldn’t spoil her unconditionally and without principles.

If he really did that, he wouldn’t be loving his daughter, he’d be harming her.

Ruan Tianling was definitely the most perfect dad in the world; she believed in him.

The two of them stood there discussing their daughter’s future education.

They never imagined that their daughter’s personality would turn out the way it did, and that she basically wouldn’t need their educating at all...

But that’s a story for later.

...

Ruan Tianling wasn’t in a hurry to drive; he drove slowly, pointing out lots of scenic spots to Jian Yufei along the way.

After two hours on the road, Ruan Tianling pulled over by the roadside.

Beside the road stretched a large meadow, with some tall trees scattered around.

Ruan Tianling took Jian Yufei out of the car, planning to cook under one of the big trees.

Ruan Tianling hauled out a charcoal stove and a pot from the RV’s utility compartment, deciding to stir-fry a few dishes for Jian Yufei.

While he was getting ready to cook, Jian Yufei set up the little dining table under the tree, laid out the bowls and chopsticks, then spread a blanket on the grass and sat down on it.

The ingredients he needed for stir-frying were all washed, cut, and stored in the fridge.
