Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 1817: Chapter 1817: This Farewell Is Eternal

She’s dead, Nangong Xu will no longer target her child, and Ruan Tianling and the others will no longer live lives in constant danger.

Everyone will find peace, as long as she dies, everything will be over.

“Nangong Xu, I will agree to your terms, but you must also promise me, to stop from now on and not harm anyone around me.” Jian Yufei murmured.

“I promise you.”

“Swear it.”

“I swear, if I break my promise, may my son die a miserable death!”

This time Jian Yufei truly believed him, because Nangong Xu cared so much about his child, that if he dared to swear on his child, he must be serious.

Nangong Xu added, “If you break your promise, our agreement is automatically canceled.”

“…Okay.”

……

Jian Yufei didn’t wait long before Nangong Ruyue’s face appeared on the video.

“Mom.” Jian Yufei looked at her mother, her eyes unconsciously reddening.

Nangong Ruyue also looked at her excitedly, gesticulating eagerly, but then remembered that she couldn’t understand sign language.

Nangong Xu beside her told her she could type, and Nangong Ruyue hurriedly began typing and sent it over.

[Yufei, are you okay? Nangong Xu said you are sick, is it true?]

Jian Yufei nodded, “It’s true. Mom, I… was diagnosed with leukemia, but don’t worry, I’ll find a compatible marrow match.”

Nangong Ruyue’s face turned pale instantly.

She had thought Nangong Xu was deceiving her.

[Yufei, don’t lie to me, tell me the truth, this isn’t true.]

“Mom, modern medicine is advanced, the doctors say I have several years to live, it’s easy to find a marrow match.”

Nangong Ruyue suddenly covered her mouth, bursting into tears.

Jian Yufei saw her mother crying and couldn’t help but shed tears, “Mom, I’m okay, you have to believe that my illness can be cured.”

Nangong Ruyue hastily told Nangong Xu: [Release Yufei immediately, she’s already like this, you can’t keep her imprisoned any longer. Nangong Xu, I beg of you, let her go, please…]

Nangong Xu held her body, gently comforting, “Okay, I promise you. Ruyue, I promise you anything.”

Jian Yufei lowered her eyes slightly, mocking Nangong Xu’s hypocritical disgust in her heart.

But as long as he doesn’t hurt her mother, that’s all that matters.

As for her now, she seeks nothing more, just hopes that those she loves will remain safe and sound.

[Yufei, Mom will find a way to cure you, rest assured, I won’t let anything happen to you.]

“Mom, actually I want to return to China…”

Jian Yufei said difficultly, “No matter if my illness is cured or not, I want to stay by Ruan Tianling and the children’s side. It was hard enough to find the two children, I don’t want to be separated from them. It’s just my lack of filial piety, that I can’t always be by your side.”

Although Nangong Ruyue was reluctant, she understood that the further she was from them, the better.

[It’s okay, as long as you’re happy, Mom is happy. Yufei, promise me, you must recover your health, I’ll be waiting for you to come find me.]

“…Okay.” Jian Yufei’s voice choked up a bit.

Mom, I’m sorry, I deceived you, this may be farewell forever.

Jian Yufei gazed deeply at her mother, but dared not show too much sadness.

“Mom, promise me too to take care of yourself and live well.”

[I promise you!] Nangong Ruyue nodded heavily.

Jian Yufei felt much more at ease.

Nangong Xu held Nangong Ruyue and said:
