Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 1816: Chapter 1816: I Just Want to Get Rid of You

”Nangong Xu, did you force my mother?!”

Nangong Xu shook his head and said somewhat happily, ”Your mother agreed to be part of an IVF procedure. The child is a boy, and he is developing well inside her. Yufei, your mother has a new child; you should be happy for her.”

How could she possibly be happy?

Her mother surely does not want to bear his child.

But they indeed had a child...

And Jian Yufei could not bring herself to persuade her mother to abort the child; abortion itself is a harm to the mother’s body.

”I want to see my mom,” Jian Yufei said coldly.

”I’m meeting you just to talk about this. Ruyue wants to video chat with you. She is pregnant now; consider for yourself what is appropriate to say or not. You should know, if anything happens to the child in her belly, I will not spare you or your son,” Nangong Xu said blandly, his tone not sharp but exuding a strong sense of threat.

Jian Yufei twisted her lips slightly, revealing a mocking curve.

She did not say anything, and Nangong Xu did not continue to threaten her.

In fact, Jian Yufei indeed would not say anything; her mother was pregnant, and she could not say anything negative to upset her.

Besides, even if she said it, it would be useless, only making Nangong Xu more exposed in his unscrupulous ways.

”Nangong Xu, secrets can’t stay hidden forever. They will know about my situation someday,” Jian Yufei said indifferently.

Nangong Xu smiled faintly, ”What situation are you talking about? Aren’t you suffering from leukemia? What does that have to do with me?”

Jian Yufei was slightly stunned...

Yes, this illness does resemble the symptoms of leukemia.

Since he said it’s leukemia, no other doctor would be able to find anything different.

”Yufei, I will release you and your child today. Maybe our grudges will end with your death. How do you see that ending?” Nangong Xu asked softly, staring at her.

Jian Yufei’s expression slightly tensed.

She naturally understood what he meant. She probably only had about two years to live. After she died, his child would have long been born, and Junchen and Junqi would no longer pose any threat to him.

At that time, he would have no reason to deal with them anymore.

But she didn’t understand why she had to die.

Jian Yufei couldn’t help but voice her inner doubts.

Nangong Xu’s smile faded, and he said coldly, ”Because your existence makes me hate! If it wasn’t for Xiao Zexin, I wouldn’t have come to this point!”

”Sins of the father, burden of the son?” Jian Yufei retorted.

”That’s right!”

”Then you definitely won’t spare my two children either!” Jian Yufei said emotionally.

Nangong Xu shook his head, ”I don’t harbor such deep hatred towards them. I just want to eliminate you. Don’t blame me; it’s your father Xiao Zexin’s fault.”

”Is your hatred really that deep?”

Nangong Xu was expressionless, ”Exactly.”

No one could understand the feeling of enduring for over twenty years and ending up with nothing.

Xiao Zexin took away the woman he loved the most, causing him to lose many things, including the most precious youth of a man.

The more he lost, the deeper his hatred for Xiao Zexin grew.

Xiao Zexin is dead, so his hatred shifted onto Jian Yufei because she is Xiao Zexin’s daughter.

Jian Yufei saw the undisguised hatred and murderous intent in his eyes.

She remained silent for a long while, then nodded, ”I understand what you mean.”

Her death was to end all these grievances.
