Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 1804: Chapter 1804 Teaching Him to Say Mom

Jian Yufei quickly composed herself and smiled at him, ”Have you eaten? Come, let’s make dinner.”

Eating is always Junqi’s favorite.

He is innocent and naive, unaware of anything, and thus, he lives without worries.

After Jian Yufei and the others finished eating, the sky had already darkened.

Back in the bedroom, Jian Yufei took the electronic dictionary she got and started teaching Junqi Mandarin.

Her English is terrible, so she can only teach him Chinese.

Mother and son sat cross-legged on the bed, with Junqi sitting quietly, almost without any presence.

Jian Yufei first taught him to say ”mama.”

”Mother is 妈妈.” Hopefully, this hybrid teaching method would make sense to Junqi.

”Junqi, call me mama, 妈妈.”

( ⊙o⊙?)

”Come, say it once, 妈妈.” Jian Yufei pointed to herself, tirelessly repeating.

After she demonstrated a few times, Junqi’s little mouth moved slightly, murmuring a single syllable, ”Ma...”

Although there was a bit of an accent, Jian Yufei heard it clearly.

She joyfully said, ”YES, 妈妈, I am 妈妈.”

”...Ma.” Junqi uttered another syllable, his voice unique.

He had not spoken for a long time, so his voice sounded strange, yet it was soft and tender, irresistibly captivating.

Jian Yufei continued to teach him using a mix of Chinese and English.

Junqi was not impatient either; after half an hour, he finally learned to say mama.

”Mama...”

Hearing him call her this way, Jian Yufei’s eyes welled up with excitement.

This ”mama,” to Jian Yufei, was more precious than any baby just learning to speak.

”Yes, I am mama, sweetheart, say it again.”

”Ma...ma...mama...”

Jian Yufei pulled his hand over and gave it a strong kiss.

”Next, let’s learn papa...”

Junqi is actually very smart; he just hasn’t had anyone to educate him for a long time. Many things in his little head are chaotic and unclear.

So, as long as you slowly help him understand the basics, he will learn quickly afterward.

Previously, he didn’t like to talk, and even just pronouncing was difficult.

After calling mama several times, he seemed to get used to speaking.

Jian Yufei taught him for a few hours, and he learned to say mama, papa, and brother.

She also clearly explained what mama, papa, and brother mean.

Even though it took several hours for him to learn, Jian Yufei felt this achievement was already something to be proud of.

She is not afraid of him learning slowly, only that he wouldn’t learn at all.

Finally, Jian Yufei also told him that mama, papa, and brother all love him.

Junqi doesn’t understand what love is, but he knows that they mean him no harm.

...

The night gradually deepened.

After taking care of Junqi and putting him to sleep, Jian Yufei went to the balcony, gazing at the distant beach.

She didn’t know if Ruan Tianling had found them, but she couldn’t wait any longer; she had to take action.

...

The next day, Jian Yufei went to the laboratory very early to tell Doctor Aide that she needed half a day off and that she’d do the experiment in the afternoon.

Doctor Aide naturally opposed, because each observation requires almost half a day.

Now that the experiment was about to succeed, it required an entire day of observation.

Jian Yufei said coldly, ”I know I’m about to lose my life; I just want to spend more time with my child while I’m still in good health. If you don’t agree, don’t expect any accurate feedback from me again!”
