From the Metropolis to the Strongest in the Cosmos

The people of Earth were talking amongst themselves, and every time they mentioned Li Yang, their eyes would fill with immense admiration.

Li Yang had resolved the crisis that threatened to end their world, allowing Earth to become a free planet when encountering other civilizations, rather than being subjugated.

Li Yang had displayed his tremendous Talent in the Cosmos and even joined the Eternal Saint Hall, one of the Human Race’s titan-level powers. This elevated the status of everyone from Earth. People from other planets were now courteous to them, not daring to bully them even if they were far more powerful.

Li Yang was Earth’s number one, its pillar of support. In the hearts of its people, he was already becoming a legend.

’Hmph. Those people from Yu Mou Star are scared now that they know Dad is back.’

Li Dong’s gaze swept over, and he sneered inwardly at the courteous act the people from Yu Mou Star were putting on.

Before this, the people from Yu Mou Star had bullied those from Earth relentlessly.

But now that Li Yang had returned, they had completely changed their tune.

’But it’s too late now. When Dad gets back, Yu Mou Star will have to pay!’

Previously, Li Dong had been helpless in the face of Yu Mou Star’s oppression. But now that his father was about to return, a planet like Yu Mou Star, whose strongest expert was only at the World Realm, didn’t intimidate him in the slightest.

”Li Dong.”

The girl beside Li Dong couldn’t help but ask, ”Do you think your dad will disapprove of us?”

A hint of nervousness was on her face.

It was only after she had started dating Li Dong that she learned what an incredible figure his father was.

”Of course not,” Li Dong said with a smile. ”You’ve waited for me for so many years. Dad will definitely let us be together.”

Back when they first got together, he had been just about to tell Li Yang about their relationship when the news of his ”death” arrived.

That was why he had never married, and she had been waiting for him ever since.

’Hm? Dad entered the Virtual World?’ Li Dong looked at his wrist device. He led the girl to a quiet spot, and then his consciousness entered the Virtual World as well.

...

’It’s really crowded.’

Li Yang entered the Virtual World, materializing inside his family’s residence within the Milky Way Galaxy sector.

Outside the residence, a large crowd had gathered. Among them was Kande, who had previously oppressed Earth, and even two of the Milky Way Galaxy’s World Masters.

And no wonder. Li Yang had previously passed the twelfth step of the Stairway to Divinity. With that kind of potential, he was destined to become a powerful Deity at the very least. Of course these ordinary World Masters were terrified.

Even now, Li Yang’s strength was enough to kill a World Master.

”Zhou Yao, there are so many people out there, including two of our Milky Way Galaxy’s World Masters. Nothing bad is going to happen, is it?”

Inside the residence, Li Yang’s older sister, Li Xue, was speaking with Zhou Yao.

The Milky Way Galaxy had a total of nine World Masters. Over the past decade, two of them had both cooperated with and oppressed Earth. These two World Masters were among those who had come. They had been waiting outside for a month, their attitudes reverent, ready to beg Li Yang for forgiveness.

Li Xue found it hard to fathom. World Masters! Beings with lifespans of a million years. To her, they were god-like entities whose power was simply unimaginable.

”Don’t worry, Sis, nothing will happen.”

Zhou Yao said with a smile, ”Li Yang told us to just ignore them, no matter how they plead. He said he’ll handle everything when he gets back.”

SWISH!

Just as she spoke, Li Yang’s figure appeared.

”Li Yang.”

”Yangyang.”

Seeing Li Yang, both Zhou Yao and Li Xue approached him with looks of joy.

”Zhou Yao. Sis.” A rare smile graced Li Yang’s lips as he looked at his family.

Zhou Yao said, ”Li Yang, all the powers that were oppressing Earth are outside begging for forgiveness. What should we do?”

Li Yang’s expression was calm. ”There’s no rush. Let them wait. I’ll be back for real in two months. I’ll deal with them then.”

Earth was currently too weak. Even if he decreed a punishment, it would be meaningless if the Kande Clan and the others simply refused to comply.

After a few more words, Li Yang asked, ”How are things on Earth now?”

”Has anyone been causing trouble for Earth?”

Zhou Yao shook her head. ”The people from other planets have suddenly become much more courteous.”

”Dad!”

Just then, Li Dong also entered the Virtual World and arrived at their location.

”Dad, I was just on the street. People from other planets aren’t just being courteous to us anymore—I could feel a hint of reverence from them,” Li Dong, who had clearly overheard his parents’ conversation, said with a grin.

”Reverence is good.”

Li Yang said in a cold voice, ”This time, we will punish them severely. We need to make an example of them.”

If he had truly fallen, how badly would Earth have been bullied?

At this moment, he felt no mercy in his heart. Earth had developed peacefully all these years, never bullying anyone. This time, he would make sure everyone knew that Earth was not to be trifled with!

After spending a little more time in the Virtual World, Li Yang went to see his Eleventh Senior Brother, Jun Yue, before logging out.

’Celestial Net has been captured. There’s no rush. I’ll deal with him after I return!’

Killing intent flashed in Li Yang’s eyes.

The moment something had happened to him, Celestial Net had jumped out to cause trouble.

Thankfully, he had only been in the Profound Destruction Dominator’s Inheritance Space for twenty years. If he had stayed any longer, there was no telling what would have become of Earth.

Thinking of Kande and the others waiting so respectfully outside, Li Yang felt perfectly calm.

’Right now, they only fear me because of my potential.’

The two World Realm experts who had come to beg forgiveness were at the Late World Realm, or even the Peak of World Realm. He was still no match for them—unless he used the Sacred Artifact in his arm, the Profound Annihilation Spear.

But by relying on his potential alone, he could still make even those at the Peak of World Realm fear him immensely.

’But it won’t be long before I truly convert this potential into actual power!’ A glint flashed in Li Yang’s eyes.

Only true power could inspire genuine fear!

BOOM!

A scorching fluctuation of Law erupted from Li Yang’s body, enveloping him completely.

It was the Fire Element Law!

’Now, time to break through to the Star Lord Realm!’

Li Yang was finally beginning his breakthrough!

With the Laws Li Yang had already comprehended, he could have easily broken through to become a Star Lord long ago. However, he had held back in order to obtain the greatest possible benefits from the Human Race’s Eternal Saint Hall.

Besides, the Longevity Realm was all about building a foundation. The more solid the foundation, the greater the benefits upon breaking through!

This was also why Li Yang had first gone to the Inheritance Hall to further improve his Law comprehension before attempting his breakthrough to the Star Lord Realm.

Doing so would allow him to absorb more Law Origin during his breakthrough, making him even stronger afterward!

Focusing his mind, Li Yang began the assault.

CRACK!

With a single push, a cracking sound seemed to echo from within Li Yang’s body.

In an instant, the bottleneck between the Peak of Longevity Realm and the Star Lord Realm was shattered.
