Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 2243: Chapter 2244: Ye Luo’s Choice

Until they escaped outside the formation, the geniuses stopped.

Looking in Ye Luo’s direction, clearly feeling apprehensive.

Nowadays, they have no intention of fighting Ye Luo; they want to avoid him as far as possible.

This guy’s law strength is simply terrifying.

The destructive effect of the Thunder Principle itself makes such aggressive cultivation technique law strength quite rare throughout the Sixth Region.

However, Ye Luo doing this is also quite a risk; if those Elders become interested in him, they would certainly capture him for research.

Though the power of the Law cannot be stolen, there are some secret techniques that can extract the law seed from his body for study.

Of course, Ye Luo did this because this is Mt. Sumeru.

Even those Elders cannot act recklessly here, as this is the rule, and a forbidden action; if any Elder dares to defy it, they would immediately face a sect’s crusade.

Thus, the whole disciple selection might be unable to continue.

Because Ye Luo is the undisputed King! Who can defeat him? Even if besieged, it would have no effect at all.

”Well, given the circumstances, everyone should start the selection; there’s no need to compete anymore!” said an Elder of the Divine Martial Sect.

In fact, his task this time was quite arduous, especially since the previous Sect Master fell at Demon Beast Ridge, and the new Sect Master has just taken over, with the upcoming Mt. Sumeru territory contest about to start; now is indeed the time for disciples!

Upon hearing this, all the Elders nodded in agreement.

In reality, these two hundred people, the Great Sects would surely snatch them all.

However, one thing remains, South Territory disciple selection first depends on the disciple’s decision, of course, this is a two-way choice!

The disciple chooses the sect, and if the sect agrees, they stay; if not, the disciple can pick another sect.

The process is just that simple.

Therefore, next, the disciples begin to choose sects; if they feel inclined towards any sect, they just stand in front of that sect’s Elder.

At that moment, the Elder will naturally decide whether to accept or reject.

With a rush, these disciples began choosing; after all, they were waiting for this last moment!

For young people from small forces or tribes, this is a chance to leap through the Dragon Gate.

Moreover, they have to thank Ye Luo; without him, this tournament would have lasted much longer, and many would even be eliminated into the losers’ group.

Actually, those Elders couldn’t wait any longer.

No more elimination; don’t mention these two hundred, even the young people in the losers’ group, they are waiting to grab them!

If it wasn’t for the disciples having to choose a sect first according to tradition, these Elders would have made a move long ago.

Furthermore, a phenomenon emerged; as long as a disciple came before an Elder, they were almost unconditionally accepted!

This is something that has virtually never happened before.

But many have guessed it; due to the Heavenly Punishment event, these forces suffered great losses, continuously needing fresh blood replenishment; plus, the looming territory contest also strained their nerves.

After all, if any force gets expelled from Mt. Sumeru, returning would require tremendous effort.

Who doesn’t want to live comfortably, have a better cultivation environment?

Soon, those from the winners in the losers’ group also came to choose sects.

According to normal rules, this is not allowed, but after continuous discussion, those Elders passed this resolution; one could say that this selection turned out to be the most unexpected one.

And more eyes were still focused on Ye Luo and several Heavenly Martial Realm talented cultivators.

Even though those young men were defeated by Ye Luo, they still remain gems in the eyes of sect Elders!

It’s even said that the Elders’ interest in them exceeds that of Ye Luo!

Ye Luo is undeniably strong, even stronger than some Elders, but after all, he is a Body Cultivator!

Bringing such a person back to the sect, no one can guide him! So wouldn’t that be awkward? Clearly a genius, yet unable to be utilized by the sect, and delaying his future.

Therefore, those Elders have already decided that even if Ye Luo comes over, they would turn him down.

Yet Ye Luo naturally would not choose them; his constant focus has been solely on the Zi Wei Sect.

Due to the sect’s focus on Body Cultivation, none of the geniuses are willing to go; after all, few cultivators truly wish to pursue the Body Refinement path.

Add to that the aspect of females, and even fewer.

This is precisely why the number of people in the Zi Wei Sect has remained virtually unchanged for hundreds of years.

Of course, the strength of the Zi Wei Sect is still quite formidable; after all, fewer people means more resources, leading to superior living and cultivation standards for its members.

Occasionally, some female disciples visit, but Elders almost always drive them away.

In the end, they only accepted two disciples of relatively low realm; these didn’t even participate in the disciple selection, just came to try their luck, and unexpectedly got accepted.

And it can be said, the selection criteria of the Zi Wei Sect is peculiar; as with Nuonuo, just asked a few simple questions and was accepted; the situation was quite the same this time.

Very quickly, the ordinary disciples have already chosen their sects.

Only these last few geniuses remain; of course, this includes Ye Luo.

He is currently weighing the pros and cons, deciding between Wind Cloud Sect and Zi Wei Sect!

After all, venturing to Wind Cloud Sect was his initial plan; now, due to the Gold Silk Wood, he has altered his choice.

As he was making his decision, the other geniuses had already moved.

Most of their choices were Wind Cloud Sect.

While Wind Cloud Xiner is a young Sect Master, she has undergone proper inheritance and survived the last Heavenly Punishment event, while several other Great Sects had their previous Sect Masters fall, leaving the new Sect Masters too rushed, certainly causing the sect’s strength to decline!

Vaguely, despite its temporary decline due to the succession of the Sect Master position, Wind Cloud Sect has started to slowly rise in status.

In the end, only Ye Luo was left alone.

After some thought, he headed toward the Zi Wei Sect.

Seeing the direction he walked, those around him immediately widened their eyes.

This guy, won’t he be heading to the female legion!

When he arrived before the Elder of the Zi Wei Sect, the middle-aged woman was slightly surprised.

”You... didn’t get lost, did you?” the Elder asked in confusion.

Ye Luo smiled slightly, ”No mistake, from the beginning, I’ve been aiming for Zi Wei Sect!”
