Chapter 2214: Chapter 2215: Ye Luo’s Goal

Seeing Ye Luo easily tame the demon beast, the other bandits were naturally shocked beyond words.

However, Ye Luo paid no mind to their gazes and instead walked over to the leader. By logic, someone of his status shouldn’t have poor resources!

But Ye Luo was completely disappointed.

On him, there was not even a single storage item.

Most likely, he didn’t bring it with him!

But he still found a strange item! To be precise, it was an egg!

The egg was as large as a soccer ball and seemed to be a demon beast’s egg.

Since he carried it, it must have some use.

No time to think about it, better to take it first!

Thus, he placed the peculiar egg into the Qiankun Ring.

He turned and mounted the demon beast’s back, and with a roar, the demon beast leaped forward, the other tribesmen closely following. In just the blink of an eye, they had covered several kilometers, a speed several times faster than before!

An hour later, the Dragon Clan’s main forces arrived at the site where Ye Luo had battled the bandits earlier.

After days of grinding, the Dragon Clan had adapted significantly to the environment of the South Territory, naturally increasing their movement speed.

After all, although their experience is not rich, the Dragon Clan has plenty of treasures and secret techniques to compensate for their shortcomings in the South Territory.

”Hmm? They actually encountered bandits here! It looks like that kid Ye Luo killed a few more bandits! But bandits appear in groups; could he have been captured by them?” a Dragon King asked in confusion.

Of course, he had never fought Ye Luo in person, only seeing data mentioning Ye Luo was at the eighth level of the Earth Martial Realm.

”You underestimate Ye Luo. If he could be captured by bandits, he wouldn’t be worth us chasing for so many days. Don’t be fooled by his realm at just the eighth level; even a first level in the Heavenly Martial Realm may not be his match!” another Dragon King replied with a wry smile.

He had indeed fought with Ye Luo before, and he couldn’t defeat him; of course, there was the help of mecha that time.

”Hmph, then I’d like to see that for myself!” the Dragon King sneered, ”With our travelling speed, it shouldn’t take too long to catch up to him, so let’s hurry!”

”Hold on, look at this!”

Although the environment here is harsh, demon beast-made pits can faintly be seen on the ground! Along with feces inside those pits.

”Damn, it’s a demon beast. Could Ye Luo have taken a bandit’s beast? In that case, isn’t it hard for us to catch up to them?” The Dragon King, who was dismissive of Ye Luo, finally showed a change in expression.

”Even so, we have to pursue. If necessary, we’ll scour the entire South Territory to get him back!” the Dragon King sighed.

Then, the Dragon Clan’s forces continued their journey.

Meanwhile, Ye Luo and his group relaxed, each sitting leisurely on the demon beasts’ backs.

Even those captured bandits wore smiles; after all, they had never been so relaxed within the bandit camp.

These people had already joined the tribe, though for the time being, the tribe members were still reluctant to accept them.

”My lord, bandit camps might increase around here, we should take a detour!” one of the bandits suggested.

Ye Luo thought for a moment and took his advice; encountering a large number of bandits would still be quite dangerous for them.

During this period, Ye Luo had inquired, both directly and subtly, about the Plane Origin Liquid, but the bandits, like the tribe members, had no knowledge of it.

After a few days of travel, the Dragon Clan was finally temporarily left behind, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

But the journey had to continue; camping here permanently was not an option. Ye Luo understood that the Dragon Clan would not give up on him.

However, continuing like this wasn’t a solution either.

After all, the demon beasts also consume resources, and such a huge consumption was becoming too much for Ye Luo.

He couldn’t afford to spend all his resources, or he wouldn’t have anything left for cultivation.

”Right now, we need to seize some resources!” Ye Luo started to think proactively.

Thus, at night, he called out the clan leader and a few selected bandit leaders alone.

”Our tribe has more than doubled in size, and now we have so many demon beasts, the consumption is enormous, so we must look for more resources!” Ye Luo directly stated his issue.

”Indeed, that’s true. In the past, our tribe’s resources relied on gathering primitive herbs, then trading them for resources, but that was too slow, and the amount we traded wasn’t enough!” the clan leader sighed.

Ye Luo heard an important piece of information—trading resources!

”Where do you usually trade for resources?” Ye Luo asked curiously.

”Grand Elder, you should know the South Territory is very resource-poor, so those Great Sects exchange South Territory’s specialties for Inland resources!” the clan leader slowly explained.

This was something Ye Luo had heard about already.

”But think about it, how could those sects personally gather these specialties? The only way is to purchase them! Spending a small amount of cultivation resources to exchange for a vast amount of specialties! Then they trade those specialties for resources; the profit margin is huge! These sects rely on this to ensure they have enough resources!” the clan leader continued.

This implies that the trading is done with the various sects.

It’s a good entry point into sect forces!

But Ye Luo didn’t plan to go to those sects yet; the situation was still unclear, and he needed a stable period to assess the Dragon Clan’s attitude before making a decision.

”I suppose you are quite familiar with the bandits, aren’t you?” Ye Luo suddenly asked the two bandit leaders.

Being promoted by Ye Luo, naturally they were grateful. After all, their current life was something they could never have imagined before.

Besides, they only held grudges against the bandit camp, with no affection or gratitude whatsoever.

”My lord, do you mean?” one leader asked with confusion.

”Exactly, I suppose there’s no force wealthier than the bandits around here, right? If that’s the case, should I still be polite?” As he spoke, Ye Luo exuded strong confidence.
