Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 1749: Chapter 1751: The Seven Sons of Bloodkill

The progress of the battle can be said to be very smooth.

However, although Ye Luo was pleased on the battlefield, it also exposed his location. The Commerce Alliance couldn’t allow someone as arrogant as Ye Luo to exist unchecked.

Through the previous assassination attempt, the Commerce Alliance already has a certain understanding of the strength of Ye Luo, Feng Ling, and Ao Long.

Therefore, this time, the Commerce Alliance sent out true experts from the Eighth Region!

In fact, for the Commerce Alliance, subduing the countries in the Ninth Region was originally thought to be a simple task, but unexpectedly, the progress was so unsatisfactory, especially with the Da Yue Empire, causing immense frustration!

In the original plan, the Da Yue Empire was supposed to be the first to fall, but unfortunately, the result was the opposite. Until now, there has not been much achievement!

And Ye Luo has undoubtedly become a thorn in the eye of the Commerce Alliance!

Originally, the Commerce Alliance had not arranged for Spirit Martial Realm experts in the Ninth Region because they didn’t think it necessary.

But with the appearance of Ye Luo, the Commerce Alliance still had to mobilize Spirit Martial Realm experts from the Eighth Region to provide support.

At this moment, a special flying magical treasure resembling a wooden sailboat had arrived at the Da Yue Empire, and on this sailboat, there were only seven people!

Seven assassins from the Eighth Region!

Moreover, these seven people were all Sixth Rank Spirit Martial Realm beings!

It can be said that the Commerce Alliance has made quite an effort to eliminate Ye Luo!

Before coming, these seven had already received a death order: if they couldn’t kill Ye Luo, there was no point in them returning. So at this moment, all seven wore solemn expressions!

Do not assume that the seven assassins sent by the Commerce Alliance are mere nobodies.

Although logically speaking, any expert from the Eighth Region could easily crush the so-called peak experts of the Ninth Region, but the failed attempt by the Eagle Tribe and Snake Tribe to jointly kill Ye Luo served as a wake-up call for the Commerce Alliance, causing them to not underestimate Ye Luo!

In fact, these seven individuals have a small reputation among the assassins in the Eighth Region, nicknamed the Bloodshade Seven!

What is even more peculiar is that all seven are female!

Yes, seven female assassins, and they are quite good-looking.

The ship arrived at the Da Yue Empire, and the seven disembarked and quickly changed into disguises. At this moment, even if Ye Luo saw them personally, he would never suspect that they were assassins!

Ye Luo’s location has been exposed, but he is completely unaware.

To be precise, even if Ye Luo knew, he probably wouldn’t care because in Ye Luo’s mind, the Commerce Alliance’s assassins are nothing to worry about!

Ye Luo defeated the enemies around Three Stone City and ordered the army to launch a full-scale offensive, on one hand providing support to other fortresses to unify command in the Southern Territory, and on the other hand reclaiming lost defensive lines in hopes of gradually driving the enemies out of the Southern Territory.

Of course, this inevitably means dealing with a large number of refugees.

The Demon Clan people are still Demon Clan people, even when the enemy breaches the city, they can hide in the forests and live alongside demon beasts, surviving proudly.

Most of the refugees accepted by Ye Luo had been hiding in the mountains and forests for a long time. Only after hearing that the Empire’s army had defeated the enemy did they dare to come down!

Of course, with refugees comes the need for disaster relief.

Even Ye Luo cannot go without food for a long time, let alone these generally weak, or even completely untrained refugees.

Furthermore, accepting refugees without preparing a place for them to stay is out of the question, right?

These are citizens of the Da Yue Empire, and to put it simply, they are the future citizens of Ye Luo. How could Ye Luo ignore them!

Nowadays, Three Stone City has evidently become the command center for the Southern Territory, with refugees continuously arriving and ongoing construction. In just over a month, it has already developed into a large city with over 200,000 people.

Meanwhile, resources are constantly being transported from the rear. Of course, more often than not, the people of Three Stone City have to rely on hunting demon beasts for food because, in truth, there isn’t much grain in the Southern Territory’s rear!

On this day, Ye Luo, as usual, inspected the refugee housing construction and food distribution before heading towards his own tent.

Yet halfway there, he heard a noisy shout from the crowd.

Ye Luo was somewhat puzzled; this noise seemed like someone was causing trouble?

Ye Luo immediately, along with his guards, entered the crowd. With the help of the guards, Ye Luo quickly saw what exactly was happening.

It turned out that seven good-looking female slaves were discovered by a nobleman’s son who was attempting to forcibly take them away.

There is nothing surprising about the existence of a slave system within the Demon Clan. After all, there is a great disparity in talent and strength between the Demon Clan’s races. Some races originally took others as food, and it was only later, with the establishment of a unified nation and constant indoctrination, that the practice of eating each other was abolished, although the slave system couldn’t be eradicated.

In theory, the nobleman’s son wasn’t wrong to do so.

However, Ye Luo, in order to unite more people to resist the enemy together, has long abolished the slave system!

Could it be that this nobleman’s son didn’t know?

”Stop!”

A guard beside Ye Luo shouted loudly.

Seeing Ye Luo coming over, everyone immediately made way and greeted respectfully.

”Greetings, Third Prince!”

Ye Luo waved and asked, ”What’s going on here?”

The nobleman’s son looked at Ye Luo with disdain and said, ”Prince, you need not bother with this matter. These are my female slaves, and I’m just preparing to take them back!”

Ye Luo frowned slightly, not because of the nobleman’s tone towards him, but because of the aura around this nobleman...

Ye Luo couldn’t pinpoint the feeling. It just felt awkward. However, Ye Luo didn’t dwell on it but glanced at the seven female slaves and then said, ”I have already issued a military order to abolish the slave system. Are you defying my command?”

”Haha, Prince, I never said I disobey! But what’s your right to change ancestral traditions? Slaves are still slaves, even if abolished, it’s not your place to decide!”

The nobleman’s son continued to speak to Ye Luo disdainfully.

Honestly, Ye Luo was confused by whether he was dumb or naive. Around Three Stone City, who doesn’t know Ye Luo is the true master? With the country’s chaos and even the Demon King going to the Northern Territory to guard, noble privileges have long become obsolete.

Yet this fellow dared to speak to Ye Luo like this? Isn’t he brainless?

Ye Luo didn’t bother to argue and waved his hand, immediately commanding, ”Arrest him! Openly defying military orders must be punished to uphold the law!”
