Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 1724: Chapter 1726: The Commerce Alliance Again

Turning a small nation into a factory? Even using oppressive means to suppress!

I’m afraid this Commerce Alliance is not as simple as its name suggests!

Ye Luo looked at the middle-aged man and said indignantly, ”Isn’t there anyone to intervene? This kind of behavior by the Commerce Alliance is simply too much!”

”Haha, too much, young man, you’re still too young. In the Martial Realm, strength is what matters. Without power, what right do you have to claim something is excessive? Do you know that all the nations surrounding the Spirit Fruit belong to the Commerce Alliance? In fact, I’m surprised you managed to get here at all. If it weren’t known that the Commerce Alliance people wouldn’t care about our lives, I would’ve suspected you were a spy sent by them. Of course, there are no such spies in our Wuling Nation, because the Commerce Alliance doesn’t even bother using means against us!

You must have seen those robots around here, right? To tell you the truth, in the eyes of the Commerce Alliance, we people of Wuling Nation aren’t as obedient as those robots. So, any mistake and our only fate is death.”

What does it mean?

Ye Luo thought briefly, and a word appeared in his mind: extermination!

Yes, it’s extermination. From the middle-aged man’s words, it seems the Commerce Alliance plans to replace the people of Wuling Nation with robots. As for the original residents of Wuling Nation, the Commerce Alliance is merely finding excuses to annihilate them!

What robot rebellion?

Not at all. Here, it’s clearly a conspiracy for racial extermination!

No, it doesn’t even count as a conspiracy because these people don’t even practice cultivation; they are like ants before the Commerce Alliance!

Or more accurately, the Commerce Alliance couldn’t be bothered to waste manpower to clear out the people of Spirit Fruit, so they might as well set up some cruel so-called laws, making these people of Wuling Nation work desperately while gradually being eliminated!

How malicious the Commerce Alliance is!

Although Ye Luo already had a bad impression of the Commerce Alliance, he never imagined that internally, it could be even more ruthless!

What exactly do these guys want to do?

Since it’s called the Commerce Alliance, it implies a multi-party union, perhaps of several, even dozens of nations, and its scope covers far more than just the Ninth and Eighth Regions.

So, what is their real purpose?

To make money?

From the name Commerce Alliance, one might think it’s all about profit!

But from their actions, that’s not it.

The Commerce Alliance must have bigger conspiracies, bigger plans!

Unfortunately, under current conditions, we can’t possibly know what the outcome will be!

”Have you never thought of resisting? Have none of you, the entire nation, ever fought back?”

Ye Luo asked again, but this time his anger was directed at the Commerce Alliance people.

From what the middle-aged man said and Ye Luo’s observation of the situation, it’s clear that Wuling Nation had no resistance whatsoever, allowing the Commerce Alliance to succeed!

The middle-aged man smiled helplessly: ”Resistance, young man, you’re really joking. We’re just ordinary people. What can we use to resist? We’ve been cooperating with the Commerce Alliance for not just a year or two, but for hundreds of years! In those hundreds of years, we’ve never encountered any danger. From birth, we receive various kinds of specialized training. Once adults, we are assigned work. Cultivation is something only the noble offspring have the right to, as for us...”

This is simply self-inflicted!

At this moment, Ye Luo couldn’t muster much sympathy for Wuling Nation.

Sure, Wuling Nation is indeed miserable right now, but it’s entirely their own doing.

Hundreds of years, hundreds of years of peace and tranquility made them lose their fighting spirit!

In fact, Ye Luo was certain that when the Commerce Alliance started planning this monumental conspiracy, Wuling Nation couldn’t possibly have not noticed any signs.

Contracts? Or actions by the Commerce Alliance? They could definitely notice something, but these guys were entirely unwary.

Listen to this middle-aged man, only the nobles have the right?

What does it mean to have the right?

If there’s a will, isn’t anything possible?

But they haven’t even thought about cultivation at all!

What is the meaning of ”in peace, think of peril”, do they even understand?

With such advanced technology, they shouldn’t be stupid, yet Ye Luo feels like these people are brainless, or rather, they never bring their brains along when they go out!

The current outcome, although Wuling Nation is pitiable, Ye Luo feels it’s what they deserve!

One could say that even if the Commerce Alliance hadn’t initially targeted Wuling Nation, seeing their unguarded state, they would still target them!

Just look at now, the Commerce Alliance has already done this to them, even preparing for their extermination.

But the middle-aged man, as a leader, is thinking what?

No resistance? Hoping that working hard will spare them?

Ye Luo thought of a term: to unsheathe the sword!

Facing a formidable enemy, you don’t even have the courage to unsheathe the sword? Then you deserve to perish!

The Commerce Alliance may indeed be wicked, but these people are not pitiable because there’s nothing about them that’s deserving of pity!

Ye Luo looked at these people before him, furious to the core, even wanting to turn and leave immediately. Why should Ye Luo care about the life or death of these spineless people!

But, alas, Ye Luo softened once again.

Although Ye Luo’s usual demeanor can be described as iron-blooded and fearless.

But faced with the weak, Ye Luo can’t help but soften.

This time, it’s no different.

”Ah...”

Ye Luo sighed, leaving the middle-aged man bewildered.

But Ye Luo couldn’t be bothered to pay attention to him.

”You stay here, and I’ll find a way to save you,”

Ye Luo tossed out a sentence and couldn’t be bothered to explain further, leading Feng Ling and Ao Long outside.

Actually, these people are kind-hearted, and they can indeed be called honest!

Unfortunately, too kind, too honest, leads them to become food for the hungry wolves of the Martial Realm, stepping stones under others’ feet, playthings in their hands!

At this moment, Ye Luo no longer concealed his power. Although he didn’t deliberately display his power, the spiritual power fluctuations emanating from him were enough to make these people exceedingly fearful!

Yes, fearful, and most crucially, while fearing Ye Luo, they never thought to stop him, or even ask who Ye Luo really was!

They simply watched dumbly as Ye Luo and the other two left.
