Chapter 1213: Chapter 1213: Hijacking a Ride

At this moment, Ye Luo’s phone was flooded with hundreds of missed call alerts, and even more text messages—over a dozen!

All these messages were sent by one person!

That was Mingyue!

The Special Security Bureau was in crisis!

Ye Luo read the contents of the messages from the first to the last.

The first message was from Mingyue asking where Ye Luo was, mentioning a division riot at a branch of the Special Security Bureau. It wasn’t just civilians; several members of the Earth Group had gone mad, slaughtering the people around them in a frenzy!

Subsequent messages were Mingyue saying they had received orders to reinforce that branch!

The following texts were updates from Mingyue on the situation.

But the last message was akin to a farewell from Mingyue.

”Ye Luo, you good-for-nothing, I knew I couldn’t rely on you. Even if I die, I’ll haunt you. We’re surrounded by those people. The thirty-odd people who came out with us are mostly dead or injured. We’re now trapped in the main dispatch room. It seems those guys want to use us for some experiment, so they haven’t attacked yet. Okay, take care of yourself, and stop being such a flirt after this.”

That was the content of Mingyue’s final text, quite calm.

But from this message, Ye Luo could see despair and loneliness, as well as Mingyue’s reluctance to part!

To be honest, ever since Ye Luo had met Mingyue, he hadn’t stopped teasing this beautiful and capable girl.

She was cold, ruthless, and powerful!

Previously, Ye Luo didn’t have any particular feelings in his heart for Mingyue, nor had he thought about possessing her.

But upon reading this message, his heart suddenly tightened.

Only then did he realize that this girl, who occasionally appeared by his side, had actually taken a very important place in his heart.

”Damn it! Corpse King Palace, if I don’t annihilate you, I’ll write my name backwards!”

Ye Luo suddenly exploded in rage and then, without regard for anything else, ran ahead.

”Master!”

The members of Dragon Pavilion hurriedly followed, but who knew that Ye Luo, once he reached a road, would outright hijack a car and speed away like a whirlwind.

Members of Dragon Pavilion indeed could keep up with Ye Luo’s pace, but not for long, and with Ye Luo so angrily concerned for Mingyue, he hardly cared about the Dragon Pavilion members.

In just half an hour, Ye Luo had already left the members of Dragon Pavilion far behind.

”What do we do? We simply can’t catch up to the master now!”

”Let’s go to the headquarters of the Special Security Bureau. We’ll wait for the master’s return there, and at the same time, find out exactly what happened!”

”Good, let’s decide on that!”

The half-hour chase, in fact, hadn’t completely exhausted the True Qi of the members of Dragon Pavilion; they could have pursued him for a while.

But Ye Luo plainly ignored them, so they knew that continuing the chase was not the solution.

At this moment, Ye Luo floored the accelerator of the car.

The car Ye Luo hijacked on the road was an Audi A4, an older model, but he managed to push it to a speed of 200 km/h, practically like a whirlwind. If not for Ye Luo’s superb driving skills, it would be hard to say how much trouble he could have caused.

Of course, the people from Dragon Pavilion also took care of the driver properly. The car had been driven for several years, but Dragon Pavilion gave the driver a full million. The driver was overjoyed and ran off, not caring anymore about the hijacked car!

Ye Luo’s destination was a nearby airport.

To arrive at Mingyue’s location with utmost speed, he had to use a plane.

There was simply no other option.

Because Mingyue and the others were now more than two thousand kilometers away from him!

Pingan Airport, a rather modest airport, had a sparse flow of people at the time.

Suddenly, a violent screeching of tires drew a lot of people’s attention.

A smoking Audi charged directly into the airport terminal.

The airport staff were stunned and bewildered.

Then, a young man burst out of the car and, more crucially, sprinted toward a small plane.

The plane had just landed not long ago, having been refueled, waiting for the departure time to carry passengers.

Several flight attendants were chatting leisurely in the cabin.

At that moment, a young man charged in.

”I’m seizing the plane. Take off now!”

Hijacking a plane?

The female staff were taken aback. Weren’t hijackings usually conducted in the air? Why was this guy trying to hijack a plane on the ground, moreover in the parking area?

”Hey, kid, don’t mess around here, or I’ll call the cops on you!”

A security guard at the door said to Ye Luo with a laugh, convinced that Ye Luo’s behavior was not that of a serious hijacker, but rather as someone with a mental disorder or playing a prank.

”Get lost! I’ll say it one more time: I’m hijacking this plane. If you don’t want to die, get the hell away!”

With those words, a surge of force arrived, propelling the security guard down from the plane as Ye Luo violently slammed the cabin door shut!

Now, nobody was treating Ye Luo’s words as a joke and several flight attendants were frightened pale.

”What are you doing, young man? Do you realize your actions could land you in prison? Stop fooling around and leave. We’ll just say you were filming a video and got carried away trying to become famous, it probably won’t be a serious crime then.”

At this moment, a middle-aged man approached, looking at Ye Luo without the slightest fear, even talking to Ye Luo in such a manner.

In truth, Ye Luo had already regretted pushing down the security guard, who wasn’t hurt, but he knew his behavior was a bit over the top.

So when he saw the middle-aged man, Ye Luo’s anger had already subsided somewhat.

”Who are you?” Ye Luo asked the man.

”I am the captain of this plane, Liu Ming!”

”Alright, Uncle Liu, I admit, I got a little carried away just now. Just give me a second.”

Ye Luo fumbled on his person and eventually found his two little notebooks.

He tossed one of the notebooks to Liu Ming, continuing, ”I am Major General Ye Luo. This plane is commandeered by me. Take off immediately. It’s urgent. I will explain later.”

Major General!

Both Liu Ming and the flight attendants’ eyes widened, especially after Liu Ming checked Ye Luo’s credentials, he was shocked. Liu Ming was experienced enough to recognize the little book was no fake.

”Alright, Mr. Ye Luo, please wait a moment, I’ll contact the control tower right away for clearance!”

Liu Ming did not dare dawdle, rushing towards the control room.

Afterwards, things were simple. When the control tower was informed that a major general was commandeering a small plane, they immediately reported it higher up, and the orders they received in return were clear: whatever Ye Luo wanted, they were to cooperate fully.
