Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 670: Chapter 670: Learning the Truth_1

”Of course not. My phone broke before, and I couldn’t find your number. And I felt too embarrassed to go to the Situ Family to look for you,” Ye Luo said awkwardly.

Situ Luoyun gave Ye Luo a charmingly reproachful look with her phoenix eyes and then said, ”Was it you who injured Situ Wentian?”

”Yes,” Ye Luo answered succinctly.

With a flash of intrigue in her eyes, Situ Luoyun looked at Ye Luo, ”You’ve become so much stronger since the last time we met.”

”Of course, how else could I take care of such a delicate bloom like you?” Ye Luo joked.

Situ Luoyun’s face turned red, and she glared at Ye Luo. ”But you’ve seriously injured Situ Wentian this time, and Situ Yunchao is furious. Even my grandfather is in a bad mood. If they find out it was you, they will definitely come after you.”

”It doesn’t matter. If they foolishly decide to come at me, then they can’t blame me for what happens. But for your sake, I won’t kill them.”

Ye Luo said this with a nonchalant expression, as if he had no fear.

”You... When did you ever say such things? Do you know that Situ Yunchao has already advanced to the Saint Realm and my grandfather is even at the sixth level of the Saint Realm? How could you possibly stand against them?” Situ Luoyun asked, full of concern.

Ye Luo gave her a mischievous smile, ”Don’t worry, your man isn’t going to die so easily.”

”What are you talking about? You are not my man!” Situ Luoyun blushed and gave Ye Luo a reproachful glance.

Ye Luo wrapped his arms around Situ Luoyun with a wicked smile, ”What? You’re already my woman; do you think you can escape from my grasp?”

”Ah, stop it. People are watching,” Situ Luoyun protested, her face reddening to her ears as she noticed Alice, Lin Xiaoyan, and the other ladies watching them. Despite her bold and open nature, she felt a rush of shyness.

Ye Luo whispered something in Situ Luoyun’s ear, and her eyes suddenly filled with an expectant, spring-like look.

After dinner, the group headed straight back to the villa. Situ Luoyun naturally followed Ye Luo into his bedroom.

”What are big brother and sister doing, sneaking off to a room like that?” Alice asked curiously, her eyes darting around, about to go and check, but Lin Xiaoyan pulled her back with a slightly blushing face.

”Alright, Ye Luo and sister have things to talk about. Let’s go to sleep,” Lin Xiaoyan said as she led the girls back to their rooms.

Meanwhile, in Ye Luo’s room, Situ Luoyun and Ye Luo didn’t exchange many words before they ignited like dry wood meeting a flame. They quickly got into the mood, tumbled onto the bed, and began a tumultuous affair.

It had been several months since their last fierce encounter in Zhonghai, so their battle was incredibly intense.

Situ Luoyun became as bold and unrestrained as Yan Ling, dancing passionately on Ye Luo’s body, unleashing her fervor and flames, providing Ye Luo with a thoroughly satisfying fight.

The bout lasted for over two hours before ending. Situ Luoyun, her face wet with sweat mixed with her hair, lay seductively in Ye Luo’s arms like a ripe peach, irresistibly tempting one to take a bite.

”By the way, do you know that Yu Ru is pregnant?”

Situ Luoyun suddenly looked at Ye Luo and said.

Ye Luo’s expression subtly changed, and he nodded, saying, ”I already know.”

Situ Luoyun’s eyes flickered, ”I don’t know what Yu Ru is thinking, being pregnant and still planning to get engaged to Ji Lingtian. Isn’t she worried about Ji Lingtian finding out? That would be terrible.”

”Isn’t the child Ji Lingtian’s? What’s there to worry about?” Ye Luo looked at Situ Luoyun in surprise.

”Who told you that the child is Ji Lingtian’s?” Situ Luoyun looked at Ye Luo, taken aback.

In an instant, Ye Luo’s face changed, and he blurted out, ”The child isn’t Ji Lingtian’s?”

”Of course not. Although Yu Ru is about to get engaged to Ji Lingtian, they barely have any contact, they haven’t even held hands. How could her child be Ji Lingtian’s?”

”I’ve asked her a few times, but she won’t say who the father of the child is. She also said she doesn’t want to disturb his life. I guess the father must have a family or a girlfriend. I don’t know how someone with Yu Ru’s character could let this happen. Yet, she still can’t bear to terminate the pregnancy,” Situ Luoyun continued, but she failed to notice Ye Luo’s face, which was undergoing a series of changes, his pupils dilating, his breathing becoming rapid.

Ye Luo suddenly grabbed Situ Luoyun’s hand, his voice deep, ”Luoyun, are you sure this is what Yu Ru told you?”

”Yeah? What’s wrong?” Situ Luoyun looked at Ye Luo confused, her thoughts suddenly racing, her gaze fixed on Ye Luo, ”What did you just say? Yu Ru? Why did you say her name so intimately? And why are you so agitated to hear the child isn’t Ji Lingtian’s? Could it be...”

As Situ Luoyun observed the changes in Ye Luo’s expression, her astute mind quickly grasped something. Her mouth hung open, a look of shock spread across her face as she stared at Ye Luo.

”The child couldn’t be yours, could it?” Situ Luoyun’s eyes were fixated on Ye Luo.

Ye Luo’s eyes moved, a bitter smile forming on his lips, ”If the child isn’t Ji Lingtian’s, and assuming what she told you is true, then the child is likely mine.”

All of a sudden, Situ Luoyun’s face registered shock as she looked at Ye Luo, her eyes wide with disbelief.

”When did you and Yu Ru get together like that?”

Ye Luo could only tell Situ Luoyun the whole story about the night they drank too much, and the latter murmured to herself with flickering eyes, ”Unexpected. There are such twists in life, it’s truly amazing.”

”It seems Yu Ru has been hiding this from you because she didn’t want to disturb yours and Ling Qingya’s life. No wonder she never disclosed who the father of the child is,” said Situ Luoyun softly.

At this moment, Ye Luo’s feelings were incredibly complex, but his mood slightly eased. The emotions that had been suppressed within his heart were suddenly released upon receiving this news.

Ye Luo hadn’t expected to become a father so soon; he actually had a child, which was utterly unbelievable.

”I can’t believe I’m going to be a dad,” Ye Luo said, touching his nose.

Situ Luoyun glanced at Ye Luo and declared, ”Don’t get too excited just yet. Although the child might be yours, Yu Ru is getting engaged to Ji Lingtian the day after tomorrow. By then, the father of her child will be Ji Lingtian, not you, Ye Luo.”
