Chapter 540: Chapter 540: Merging Yin Qi, Stepping into Innate Peak Stage_1

”Xiner, actually I have been deceiving you before. The condition you have is not an illness, but rather due to your special constitution, which is what this gentleman just mentioned—you possess the Nine Yin Physique.”

”This constitution often produces Yin Qi, and on nights when the moon is full, when Yin Qi in the world is at its strongest, it causes the Yin Qi within you to erupt. As time goes by, if the Yin Qi becomes heavier, it poses a life-threatening risk. Only a person with the Nine Yang Physique can restore you to health, and that person is this gentleman.”

Jiang Yulan explained to her daughter, and her words made Ye Luo even more puzzled. How could an ordinary woman know so much about the Nine Yang Physique and the Nine Yin Physique? She seemed very extraordinary indeed.

As Shangguan Xiner listened to Jiang Yulan’s explanation, it seemed as if she understood something and looked at Ye Luo, ”So, everything you did just now was to save me?”

”That’s right,” Ye Luo nodded.

”You two talk; I’ll step out first.” Jiang Yulan suddenly interjected, and then she turned and left the room, leaving Ye Luo and Shangguan Xiner alone, seemingly in an awkward atmosphere.

Ye Luo glanced at Shangguan Xiner, noticing her pink undergarment and with a flickering gaze, he said, ”You should get dressed first, I’ll step out.”

After saying that, Ye Luo left the room, and at that moment Shangguan Xiner realized she was still undressed, blushing instantly, her eyes filled with a shy expression.

Stepping out of the room, Ye Luo saw Jiang Yulan sitting on the sofa. He walked over and asked, ”Auntie, how do you know all this? Could you tell me?”

”Actually, it was all told to me by a master. When Xiner was young, and the first time her body exhibited such symptoms, I didn’t know what to do, and the hospitals were clueless,” she said.

”It was that master who appeared, saved Xiner, and then told me everything, saying that to fully restore Xiner’s health, only a man with the Nine Yang Physique would suffice.” Jiang Yulan said placidly, glancing toward Ye Luo.

”It seems that all this was destined. Today when Xiner’s Yin Qi erupted, you appeared. It looks like this is the predestined relationship the heavens have arranged,” she mused.

For a moment, Ye Luo didn’t know what to say. It truly did seem preordained, else he wouldn’t have ended up here.

Even he hadn’t anticipated that Shangguan Xiner would have the Nine Yin Physique. Thinking back to their first meeting on the plane, that inexplicable attraction and familiarity might have been due to this reason.

His master had told him that a woman with the Nine Yin Physique and a man with the Nine Yang Physique are naturally predestined to be together—unchangeable facts.

And when these two rare physiques in the world come together, they can create unimaginable changes; yet exactly what those were, his master hadn’t revealed to him. But clearly, it posed significant benefits for both parties.

For Ye Luo had merely absorbed the Yin Qi from Shangguan Xiner for an hour, and his realm had already broken through to the Innate Peak Stage.

Yes, Ye Luo’s realm had progressed from the Innate Late Stage to the Innate Peak. All this was due to him having absorbed all the Yin Qi that had erupted from within Shangguan Xiner.

Therefore, if one could combine with the Nine Yin Physique, the benefits would be unimaginable, akin to dual cultivation of Yin and Yang.

However, Ye Luo didn’t harbor much of that kind of feeling toward Shangguan Xiner at the moment, so he wouldn’t pursue these matters solely for the sake of increasing his strength.

Shangguan Xiner soon came out of the room already dressed neatly, though her face was still somewhat flushed.

”Ye Luo, thank you for this time,” Shangguan Xiner said to Ye Luo with a shy look, whispering.

”Don’t mention it, we’re all friends, right?” Ye Luo replied with a smile.

”It seems you two have known each other for some time, what a fateful encounter,” Jiang Yulan remarked as she looked at them, her eyes filled with kindness when she looked at Ye Luo, almost as if a mother-in-law sizing up a son-in-law, which made Ye Luo feel somewhat uncomfortable.

”Ye Luo, you don’t have a girlfriend, do you?” Jiang Yulan suddenly asked, looking at Ye Luo.

Ye Luo was stunned for a moment, unsure how to answer, wondering why Jiang Yulan would ask such a question out of the blue, while Shangguan Xiner’s face blushed even more, and she quickly sat beside Jiang Yulan, saying, ”Mom, what are you asking that for?”

”I’m not asking randomly. I think this Ye Luo is quite good, and it’s about time for you to find a boyfriend; you two could give it a try,” she said.

Hearing Jiang Yulan’s words, Ye Luo was visibly embarrassed, not expecting the aunt to say such a thing; Shangguan Xiner was even more embarrassed, her face so red she almost wished she could crawl into a hole.

”Mom, what are you talking about? Ye Luo and I are just friends, and besides, you’ve only just met him, how can you say such things?”

Jiang Yulan’s expression turned serious as she said, ”Xiner, do you understand that only Ye Luo can solve the problem with your body, and to thoroughly eradicate the root cause, only by being intimate with him can you recover your health and no longer suffer from the pain of the Yin Qi.”

”So, if you want to continue living and not endure the kind of pain you did tonight, there is only one solution, which is to be with Ye Luo, and perhaps this is heaven’s arrangement that you have already met each other.”

Listening to Jiang Yulan’s words, both Ye Luo and Shangguan Xiner remained silent. Although Shangguan Xiner still found it hard to believe, Ye Luo knew Jiang Yulan was right, that this was the only method to deal with the Nine Yin Physique.

Of course, if Shangguan Xiner had been cultivating a specific Cultivation Technique suited for the Nine Yin Physique since she was young, she could control the Yin Qi inside her body and transform it into her own strength.

Just like how Ye Luo was cultivating the Nine Yang Mystic Art, had he not cultivated it, he would have ended up like Shangguan Xiner, with his internal Yang Qi constantly erupting, eventually destroying the Yin and Yang balance within his body and leading to complications.

Unfortunately, Shangguan Xiner wasn’t as lucky as Ye Luo, so now to solve the problem, the only way was to be intimate with Ye Luo.

”Mom, are you serious?” Shangguan Xiner asked, finding it difficult to believe, as she looked at Ye Luo.

”Of course, this was all told to me by the expert, and today Ye Luo absorbed the Yin Qi that erupted from your body, saving your life; that proves everything,” Jiang Yulan said earnestly.

”What if I experience what happened earlier again, can’t it be resolved the same way as before?” Shangguan Xiner asked, looking toward Ye Luo.

Ye Luo shook his head and said, ”At first it’s possible, but as time goes on, the Yin Qi in your body will erupt with greater intensity, and by then, just doing what we did earlier will not be enough to completely clear the Yin Qi that has erupted in your body. The only way is...”
