Chapter 537: Chapter 537: Burst of Yin Qi_1

Outside the room, Jiang Yulan gripped her hands tightly, her face filled with worry as well. Listening to the painful moans emitting from Shangguan Xiner’s room, Jiang Yulan’s expression was also one of heartache.

”Xiner, it’s mom’s fault. I’m so sorry, I don’t have the ability to help you,” Jiang Yulan said, tears slipping down from her eyes, her expression fraught with helplessness.

Bang!

At that moment, a loud crash sounded as the anti-theft door of the house was suddenly forced open, and a group of men in black charged in.

”Who are you people? What do you want?” Jiang Yulan’s face changed as she shouted in alarm, seeing the group rush in suddenly.

The leader of the men in black swept his gaze around and set his sights on Shangguan Xiner’s room, heading straight for it.

”You... what are you going to do? Leave now, or I will call the police,” Jiang Yulan said, blocking their path as she spoke.

Slap!

With a swing of his hand, one of the men knocked Jiang Yulan unconscious, and then the group broke down the room’s door.

Suddenly, a cold Yin Qi surged forth as if they had opened the door of a freezer; the bone-chilling cold made them shiver, and their faces all turned pale.

”Such terrifying Yin Qi. Could this be the terror of the Nine Yin Physique?” The men in black looked on incredulously.

Then they each circulated their True Qi to defend against the frightful Yin Qi and stepped into the room, where they saw Shangguan Xiner trembling on the bed, her body enveloped in Yin Qi, her face a mask of pain, and a chill permeating her brows.

”Is this the Nine Yin Physique?” The men in black fixated on Shangguan Xiner on the bed, whose body was so overwhelmed by Yin Qi that she had passed out.

”Captain, what do we do now? The Yin Qi in this girl’s body is too strong,” one of the men said.

”No matter what, now that we’ve found the Nine Yin Physique, we must take her back,” the leader said, as an intense aura burst from him.

His strength had reached the Innate Peak Stage, his thick True Qi enveloping his body, and then he stepped forward, scooping Shangguan Xiner into his arms.

Even though he was shielded with True Qi, his body couldn’t help but tremble upon touching Shangguan Xiner, and he hurriedly increased his True Qi to resist the terrible Yin Qi.

Carrying Shangguan Xiner, he headed towards the outside of the room. However, just as they were about to leave, a figure entered—it was Ye Luo, drawn by the movement of the Nine Yang True Qi within him.

Following the indistinct calling all the way, Ye Luo arrived at Shangguan Xiner’s home, only to run into this group of people. Seeing the man holding Shangguan Xiner, Ye Luo’s expression changed.

”Who are you?” Ye Luo asked in a deep voice.

”Kid, this isn’t your business. Leave immediately,” one of the men stepped forward, directing a snort at Ye Luo.

”Tell me, who are you people and where do you plan to take Shangguan Xiner?” Ye Luo asked coldly, watching the group intently.

”Take him down!” the man holding Shangguan Xiner ordered.

The man in black who had just spoken charged towards Ye Luo, but with just one punch from Ye Luo, the attacker was down on the ground, spitting out blood; his strength at the Innate Late Stage was no match for Ye Luo in a single move.

”It seems you won’t talk, then I won’t be polite anymore.”

Ye Luo finished speaking and his body burst out, taking the lead to bombard the man who was holding Shangguan Xiner. The latter’s face changed, and he quickly set Shangguan Xiner down, handing her over to another man, while he himself threw a punch at Ye Luo.

Boom!

Their strengths collided, causing a dull sound like thunder to erupt. The terrifying sonic boom resounded, and the opponent’s body flew backward and hit a wall. He knelt on the ground, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

Swoosh!

Ye Luo moved swiftly and embraced Shangguan Xiner, while the man in black robes holding her was fully occupied resisting the invasion of Yin Qi from her body and couldn’t fight back.

The moment Ye Luo held Shangguan Xiner, his face changed, feeling terrifying bursts of Yin Qi erupting from her and invading his body.

Instantly, the Nine Yang True Qi within his body surged, as if meeting the positive and negative poles of a magnet, directly merging together.

The Nine Yang True Qi and the Yin Qi constantly released from Shangguan Xiner’s body unexpectedly merged together, and soon, the Nine Yang True Qi rapidly increased.

Seeing this, Ye Luo’s eyes revealed an incredulous look, and his gaze flickered as he used the Clairvoyant Eye to probe inside Shangguan Xiner’s body.

He discovered that inside her body there were also nine special meridians which hadn’t been revealed before. They only became evident tonight, and all nine meridians had been opened.

”Could it be...”

A phrase once mentioned by Ye Luo’s master suddenly came to mind.

”In this world, everything operates on the principle of Yin and Yang. Where there is Yin, there is Yang, and where there exists a Nine Yang Physique, there must also be a Nine Yin Physique.”

Thinking of his master’s words, Ye Luo suddenly wondered if Shangguan Xiner was the Nine Yin Physique that corresponded to his Nine Yang Physique. Otherwise, how could such horrific Yin Qi be suddenly released from her body, and why would she also have the same nine major meridians?

Then, Ye Luo thought back to his Nine Yang True Qi’s sudden surging and that inexplicable calling from within. Clearly, it was all because of the existence of this Nine Yin Physique.

”Get out now!”

Ye Luo’s gaze turned fierce as he looked at the group of men in black, radiating a terrifying aura. Immediately, the men’s expressions changed, and their eyes turned to the man who had been injured and spat out blood.

”Let’s go.” The man’s eyes flickered as he looked at Ye Luo. Holding his chest, he got up and the group quickly left Shangguan Xiner’s home.

Ye Luo carried Shangguan Xiner straight into her room, placed her on the bed, and examined her body with furrowed brows.

The Yin Qi inside Shangguan Xiner had reached a limit, and because of the excessive Yin Qi, the Yang Qi within her was completely suppressed, causing a problem.

After all, everything is balanced by Yin and Yang, especially the human body. The balance of Yin and Yang is essential, and now Shangguan Xiner’s Yang Qi had been overwhelmed by Yin Qi, making her body extremely weak, with her vitality slowly fading. If this continued, Shangguan Xiner wouldn’t be far from death.

”Xiner, Xiner!”

Suddenly, the voice of Jiang Yulan came from outside the room, indicating she had awoken from her unconscious state.

Ye Luo went out and saw Jiang Yulan, saying, ”Auntie, don’t worry, Xiner is fine.”

”Who are you?” Jiang Yulan’s expression changed as she looked at Ye Luo with a hint of wariness.
