Reborn In The 90's: Saving My Siblings With A Fishing System

”...”

Han Yichen made some movements, as if he wanted to say something, but who knows what he thought; he fell silent and sighed silently. Then, without saying anything, he closed his eyes and did not waste a single breath on Han Ziyan and Meng Yunhan.

Seeing this, Meng Yunhan felt awkward. However, she still cheered up and said with a smile, ”I see. Ziyan, your dad is tired. Why don’t we go outside and let him take a nap? We will arrange something for him to eat when he wakes up. After all, no one has the time to cook for him... we can only buy some food for him.” As if she were worried that Han Ziyan’s words were not enough, Meng Yunhan decided to deliver a few more words.

She then walked out of the ward without saying anything and dragged Han Ziyan with her. Once the two of them were outside, Han Ziyan hurried to complain, ”Mom, what is wrong with Dad? What kind of attitude is he showing to us?” She thought that after spending so much effort on her dad, the man would definitely start treating her as his own daughter. But the way he was acting just now... it did not seem he was even willing to listen to her.

”Shush, don’t think so much. He must be disoriented after what happened to him. Look at him; he had two surgeries in a day.” Meng Yunhan spoke in a low voice; she was worried that Han Yichen would hear the two of them. If that happened, then everything that they had done would go to waste. ”It must be because he is very weak and does not understand what is going on. Don’t think too much; anyway, after waking up, you were the first person he saw. He must have been touched in his heart. Once he gets better, he will start treating you well as well.”

”Mom, are you sure this will work? What if my elder brother or someone tells him the truth?” Han Ziyan was still worried. ”I am afraid that if Dad finds out the truth, then he will definitely blame me.”

”Aiye, you are thinking too much.” Meng Yunhan waved her hand and stated in a cold voice, ”I will take care of it when it happens. Anyway, they are all jobless and don’t have much savings; how can they take so much money out? As long as we insist that we were the ones who did it, can your father deny it? Anyway, only the two of us have jobs.”

Only then did Han Ziyan heave a sigh of relief. She then smiled and questioned, ”But Mom, Han Ruochen and Han Yong borrowed such a huge sum of money. Even though you said that whoever borrowed the money would have to repay it, can the two of them even come up with so much money? If the debtors make a fuss, won’t Dad find out that it was Han Ruochen and elder brother who borrowed the money for his surgery?”

”I have already thought about this. Even if someone comes to our house and demands payment for the loan, we will just make an excuse that it was because the two of them took money out for their own purpose and it was not because of your dad’s surgery. Han Ruochen is busy collecting money to repay the debt. She doesn’t have time to tell the truth. Now that she has gone to the sea, it will take three to four days for her to return.”

Her eyes flickered and continued, ”Till then, we will slowly feed your dad all kinds of lies to your father. Tell him that Han Ruochen has bought new equipment for fishing and Han Yong has taken out a loan for his brother-in-law. You should also work along with me; tell him that you have taken a loan for his surgery from the warehouse.”

Han Ziyan clapped her hands together. With a cheerful smile on her lips, she said happily, ”You are right, Mom. Sister Ruochen has gone to the sea; even if she tries to return as soon as possible, she will not be able to return for more than three days. We can always work hard on making Dad believe us.”

”Now you are thinking properly.” After working for a few months, Meng Yunhan realised that the life she had lived in the past was much better. At least she did not have to worry about splurging money. Now she had to think twice before spending her own money, and she couldn’t even think of sending any money to Yun Xinye. Because of this matter, Yun Xinye was really upset with her these days. It would be better if she could take all the financial control back into her hands.

”Han Ruochen has been getting more and more stubborn in the past. She will definitely not agree to let you take control of the finances.”

”She no longer has any say in this matter. She cannot even do such a small thing as collecting money for her dad’s surgery. Running to the sea every day, when it came to forking out money, she couldn’t do it. In the end, it is all because she has no control over her finances.” Meng Yunhan thought about how Han Ruochen had to go out and gather money. She goes to sea every day, and yet she was not able to fetch such a small sum. Where did she waste all of her money? This was something that Meng Yunhan could not stomach at all.

She was already feeling uncomfortable, thinking about how she had no idea how much Han Ruochen earned every time she went to the sea. But now she was even more uncomfortable when she thought about how Han Ruochen could not even fork out a small sum of six thousand yuan. Where did that girl spend all of her money? This was something that she needed to know.
