The Golem Mage

”Give them out! And make sure everyone gets a cultivation pill!” George Gordons laughed heartily as he instructed the boys in charge of cleaning his quarters to distribute the Low Tier cultivation pills he had been hoarding; he had intended to use them for trading with the occasional merchants that visited the Estonia City.

But at this moment, he was simply delighted to have invited nearly every Low Tier mage in the clan to receive the pills. Standing behind him not too far were the Grand Elder and the Third Elder, who had effectively become his bodyguard.

Although George had claimed that the Third Elder was his new High Rank backup, but the Third Elder was well aware that it was merely a facade.

The true reason the patriarch of the Gordons clan had requested his younger brother to stay close was due to persistent paranoia he had about potential attacks against them, and George was determined to avoid a repeat of past events.

Taking a sip from the gourd he held onto, the Third Elder scoffed,

”We are both well aware of how stingy he truly is, so, please, enlighten me about this new development of distributing his secret stash to the Low Tier mages of the clan, despite implementing rules to restrict such stash earnings.”

”We all know that those rules were nonsense,” the Grand Elder said.

”George has been secretly profiting from the pills that the Second Elder was refining and stored in the clan’s treasury at reduced prices, specifically for the benefit of the younger generations.”

”In fact, originally, the pills were intended solely for our clan’s low-tier mages to exchange once they had accrued enough merits, however, they never received any pills, and we all know why, George had already exchanged them all, significantly at a lesser value,” the Third Elder revealed with a hint of frustration in his voice.

”As he then traded them for something more profitable with the merchants , though he still contributes and gives back to the clan, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s been deceiving and stealing the second elder creations away from the clan,” the grand elder elucidated as the third elder nodded in agreement.

”So if, for the first time, he is giving out these pills out of genuine happiness because he has recognized Alec’s growth without receiving any payment, then perhaps we should be grateful that the pills are finally reaching their intended destination,” the Grand Elder explained, with the Third Elder nodding in agreement.

”But there is still one thing bothering me at the moment, don’t you think he will come to regret all of this later?” the Third Elder questioned, seeking the opinion of the Grand Elder.

”Ohh that, he will definitely regret it once he wakes up from his state of intoxication, and that’s one reason why I ensure he stays away from alcohol, just pray that his alter ego doesn’t emerge when he regains his senses, as you would find yourself in deep trouble,” the Grand Elder advised, causing the Third Elder to tremble at the thought of facing the cold version of his brother.

”Well, as long as I keep my distance, I should be safe until he gets over it!” the Third Elder asserted, though internally cursing himself.

He had always wanted his brother to drink with him, but now that his wish had come true due to Alec’s display, but he couldn’t help but feel that he may have entered into a world of trouble.

Meanwhile, In a nearby house, a group of Tier 7 mages had gathered secretly, observing all that was happening through a series of water screens that displayed various locations within the Gordons clan.

”With a little extra cash here and there, some of the helpers from the Gordons clan have been bribed to assist in hiding and activating the Spell bags we gave them around various areas of the Gordons clan house,” one of the Tier 7 mages revealed.

”This way, we can observe and monitor their every move without them being able to detect us,” he explained his plan to the rest of the group, who watched intently as George distributed his secret stash of low-tier pills to clan members who had been struggling in the lower ranks and upcoming junior members.

”Seriously, now more than ever, I believe we should reconsider any intentions of attacking them, we all know that the clan has descendants in academies and institutions throughout the kingdom. Just look at Alec leading his own academy to the top eight,”

”That’s the cream of the crop, just imagine being hunted down by them for revenge on what we are about to do to their clan,” the mage who had previously complained spoke up again, expressing his concerns.

However, the others in the group were not convinced and stared at him as if he were an odd element.

”You can’t back out now, you’ve already reaped the benefits, which means you must play your part, it has been decided that we will attack the next day, exactly when the War God Academy team’s match is taking place,” a determined voice declared.

”The elders and the patriarch of the Gordons will be occupied in their meeting room, focused on Alec Gordons and his team’s match, that’s when we will silently eliminate most of the clan’s members, before their higher-ranking members detect what’s happening, we will have them surrounded and take them out as well,” the plan was explained by the Raisa clan patriarch.

”And if you want to be scared of a few kids who are not even close to stepping into the Tier realm , let alone the Tier 7 realm, then leave your life behind!” The Raisa Clan patriarch used a threat to dismiss the concerns of the fidgeting mages.

”Since you have all decided on the time of the attack, I must inform you that during that time, I will also make an appearance with two of my friends, I will only intervene if I deem you all unworthy of completing this mission,” a voice reverberated through the room, initially alarming the Tier 7 mages present.

However, they quickly calmed down as they recognized the familiar figure.

It was the Tier 8 Mage, wearing a mask on his face, the same person who had provided them with pills to aid in their breakthrough.

He was also the mastermind and leader of the plans to attack the Gordons clan.

”You don’t have to worry about a thing, we are fully prepared to ensure that the Gordons clan vanishes from the history of Estonia City,” another Tier 7 mage declared confidently, prompting them all to burst into laughter, lost in their daydreams of how they would obliterate the Gordons clan.

Each of them harboured feelings of hate or had clashed with the Gordons clan in one way or another.

Now, they have finally broken through to the High rank, a possibility many of them never thought they would achieve, they saw it as a compelling reason to confront the Gordons clan and eliminate them from their path.

As they believed that unless they removed the Gordons clan from the Estonia city, they would never receive the respect they deserved in a city that still held the hidden power of the formidable Gordons clan.
