Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 460: Chapter 474: The Affairs of Younger Siblings Are Not Trivial Matters

Su Jinghao saw a trace of astonishment in Shen Wenxuan’s eyes, and understood the relationship between Mu Wanxin and Shen Wenxuan.

”Some wild brat showed up at my house this morning looking for my sister. When he couldn’t find her, he sneaked into her boudoir at night. I just taught him a lesson and didn’t accuse him of trespassing. He already got off easy.”

Hearing Su Jinghao’s words, it became clear that An Sicheng had provoked the Su Family and even snuck into the eldest miss’s room, evidently caught red-handed.

An Ran couldn’t understand why, given the An Family’s status, they would provoke the Su Family in the Imperial City.

While the Su Family may not be much in the Imperial City, they were highly esteemed in Pingxi, a family the An Family could only look up to.

Su Jinghao was there with the family bodyguards to teach him a lesson. As he said, even if he broke An Sicheng’s legs, he could easily shirk responsibility in the end.

”Young Master Su, I know this person, can I ask a favor and take him away?”

Currently, An Sicheng had already passed out, and it was unknown how badly he was hurt. It was best to get him medical attention immediately.

Su Jinghao laughed softly, looking at An Ran with an inquisitive gaze, ”Miss An, I’m afraid I can’t agree to that. This matter concerns my sister’s safety. If we don’t teach this kid a lesson, I’m afraid he’ll come back to harass her again. This kid is quite stubborn—he’s harassed my sister several times already. This time, he even sneaked into her room. If we hadn’t found out in time, who knows what might have happened.”

”Young Master Su, every story has two sides. I don’t think he would come all this way to the Su Family to make trouble for no reason. Tell you what, I guarantee he won’t harass the Su Family after waking up. If it happens again, I, An Ran, will let you handle him as you see fit.”

An Ran knew An Sicheng’s character well. Unlike An Sijia, he wasn’t selfish. During the three years An Ran spent with the An Family, when Sun Xuehui and her daughter troubled her, An Sicheng stood up for her multiple times.

So, An Ran had the best relationship with this brother in the An Family.

It was already baffling that An Sicheng would come to the Imperial City, let alone provoke a noble, harassing the young miss of the Su Family as mentioned by Young Master Su. An Ran knew there must be hidden motives behind this.

But whatever the hidden reasons, she could only find out after An Sicheng woke up.

”Young Master Su, let’s take a step back. The person has already been beaten, and I’ve made a promise. Let’s leave it at that. Are you waiting for Xingfeng to come and ask you for him?”

At this moment, Shen Wenxuan spoke up from behind.

Hearing Mu Xingfeng’s name, the expression on Su Jinghao’s face stiffened, before laughing awkwardly, ”How could I? Of course, I have to give Miss An some face. However, Miss An, you need to give me a reason for taking him. What’s your relationship with him?”

Seeing Young Master Su relenting, An Ran’s tone also softened, ”He is my adoptive father’s son. Thank you, Young Master Su, for your leniency.”

”In that case, I’ll trust Miss An this once. Remember your promise.” After finishing, Su Jinghao nodded at Shen Wenxuan, ”Young Master Shen, who seldom involves himself in others’ matters, has truly surprised me today.”

”Family matters are never a trivial affair,” Shen Wenxuan said indifferently.

Su Jinghao smiled and said no more. He signaled the bodyguards to follow him as he left.

After Su Jinghao left, An Ran squatted down, looking at An Sicheng’s swollen lips and bloody forehead, calling his name with heartache.
