”Damn it what i am going to do now, why did she leave without telling me,”yohan closed his eyes and took a deep breath in frustration cursing his luck, but on the other hand Maria was right he canʼt waste his time searching impossible when he is running out of time, he doesnʼt know where lady Evelyn and kana went, after all just like maria he is also not able to sense their presence despite Evelyn was his soul bond, he cant feel any kind of connection at all despite giving a shot, it felt as if she has disappeared from this world along with kana.

”I donʼt understand why are you searching for kana, but you can tell me, I can help you...”maria said as she put her hand on yohanʼs shoulder and tried to persuade him again, she wanted to know why Yohan searching for kana and what will he achieved searching her, but seeing that she is getting ignored by him over kana, again and again, she felt frustrated and felt a little bit insecure.

”I have to return to the clan, so what if Kana is not here, I still have a chance, I donʼt want to go there empty-handed but alas I donʼt have any choice,” Yohan finally broke his silence and he opened his eyes.

Mariaʼs facial expressions turned dark and her eyebrows twitched hearing Yohanʼs words and seeing he ignored her once again and to her surprise this time he intended to look for aana.

”Look at me you damn kid, you are not going anywhere and what the hell is wrong with you, donʼt you dare to ignore me as if I not existed, just give me a damn answer, why are you looking those two?”Maria finally lost her cool and she grabbed Yohanʼs hand and looked at him in a cold manner.

”Well, you know itʼs complicated,I canʼt tell you why I am searching for them, ”Yohan responded to Maria in a calm manner.

”Then forget about leaving this place, you are not going anywhere, and I dare you to try putting one step outside this hall, lady Evelyn told me to look after you and I gave her my words that nothing is going to happen to you on my watch”maria looked Yohan in a serious manner and said to him by tightening her grip around yohanʼs hand so he could not leave her sight, Yohan gulped nervously as he heard her, she is looking damn serious about what she said to him.

”There is something that only Aana and kana can do for me, seeing my current circumstances I can only rely on Aana knowing kana is not here, ”Yohan took a deep sigh and gave a look to maria who is standing in front of him and looking him in serious manner, maria become speechless hearing yohanʼs words and seeing the look in his eyes, those eyes were telling the truth and she know that.

”I am coming with you,” she finally let go of Yohanʼs hand and said to him in a dejected manner, Yohanʼs facial expression slightly changed after hearing her.

”But why do you want to come with me? Look, you have done your job and I appreciate it, but there is no reason for you to follow me to the Lin clan,” Yohan said to her.

”My job is not done moron, you still have to go through the second phase in order to achieve the body that can withstand the earth realmʼs cultivation, like it or not you need me more than ever,” maria responded in a calm manner, Yohan turned silent for a moment and pondered about Mariaʼs offer, indeed she could be helpful for him knowing her expertise in alchemy, after thinking for few moments Yohan took a deep sigh and nodded his head.

”Yeah whatever, you can follow me if thatʼs what you want, afterall I donʼt have the strength to oppose you,” Yohan said to her, hiding the fact that he is interested in taking her with him willingly.

”Donʼt give me this attitude kid, you are going to regret it If you look down on me, you should be glad that I chose to come with you, ”maria took a step closer to Yohan and said to him in non chant expressions, Yohan gulped seeing maria that closer to him, he can feel her boobs against his chest and her scent that is making his body trembled.

”Okay I get it,” Yohan responded by looking in different directions as he wasnʼt able to see into her eyes knowing how close her face was to him.

”Wait for me outside, I pick some ingredients that will require for the second phase, I will see you in a bit, ”Maria said as she looked at Yohan who is ignoring her gaze, and with those words, she left her sight to pick ingredients, Yohan took a deep sigh and he looked behind to see Mariaʼs figure that is going further and further in the direction of the end of the hall.

”She is scary, but she is reliable, she can be useful for my cause, and moreover she is a powerful cultivator and might come in handy”Yohan mumbled in low voice, and with those words, he left the hall, at the same time maria finally reached the end of the hall and halted her movement and she looked behind, Yohan was not there as he left the hall.

”I finally found someone who can be useful for my cause, his talent is frightening and superior, and with a little bit of my help he is worthy to become my sword who is going to slay every one of them who caused me so much pain, I waited very long and now finally find someone,” maria exclaimed and clenched her fist thinking about something.
