Back into Evelynʼs manor two figures could be seen standing in the empty corridor and both of them are occupied in their deep conversation.

”an alchemist named maria...” Kana pondered as she looked at Yohan in a confused manner after hearing the name Maria from his mouth.

Earlier Yohan told her about everything that happened inside the library, he is expecting kana to explain to him about that womenʼs background but seeing that dazed look on her face he is taken aback by surprise, he thought that kana might know that women but this is not something he was expecting.

”You donʼt know any maria who is related to lady Evelyn, she seems very friendly to lady Evelyn as if they know each other very well,”yohan asked kana, hearing yohanʼs words kana raised her eyebrows.

”I do know a woman named Maria but she died long ago, she was one of my masters associates that my master knew very well but that woman was not an alchemist, more precisely she was the former queen of this region”kana responded to yohan in a different manner.

Yohanʼs facial expression changed dramatically upon hearing Kanaʼs words, this is the first time he heard anything related to the former queen,”Catherineʼs mother...ʼʼ Yohan mumbled in a low voice as Cathrineʼs face flashes in front of his sight.

Hearing yohanʼs words kana exhale deeply and nodded her head in a sad manner before continuing” she was a good human being and a very talented cultivator, but alas she died of a mysterious disease, I met her Couple of time in past,we were pretty young that the time when she used to visit here to meet my master”kana said to yohan.

”You talk very highly of her, was she really a strong cultivator just like you said?”Yohan looked at Kana and asked, hearing Yohanʼs words, Kana chuckled and she recalled her meeting with the previous queen.

”Indeed she was a very talented person, I remember when I first saw her, at that time she was on a completely different level and moreover if she was alive then I must say she was someone who is rival to my master, she was not only talented in cultivation but she is also fascinated by other stuff, she is one of those people who is favored by my master” kana explain to yohan with a gentle smile.

”This is the first time I am hearing something related to the former queen and to my surprise, it is not something bad, the way you speak shows that she was a great person,”yohan said with a smile.

”Indeed she was a good person nothing like those other royalties” kana whispered and then she looked at yohan in a curious manner.

”How did that other maria look like, can you tell me about her appearance, I am kind of interested about her, how come I donʼt know anything about her”

”her appearance you say...”yohan mumbled and his face slightly turned red thinking about his meeting with her, he recalled her beautiful white face along with those beautiful deep silver eyes that he had has never seen before, kanaʼs eyes widen seeing those blissful expressions on yohanʼs face, in instant, she stretched yohanʼs cheek and make him come to his senses.

”what the hell do you thinking, you damn pervert, look at these weird expressions on your face, donʼt tell me she is that beautiful and you fell for her”kana exclaimed as she asked yohan in a furious manner, yohan gulped nervously and instant he come to his senses hearing kanaʼs nagging.

”what...no...i am not thinking anything weird or lewd, I swear...”he responded to kana and laughed in a weird manner hiding the fact that she is someone who is indeed beauty among beauties.

”I am going to beat you to a pulp, how could you think about other women while I am with you, you definitely need proper beating for lusting other women, you damn pervert” kana exclaimed as she tried to grab yohan by his collar, but to her surprise yohan get away by dodging and took a step backward before she could grab him, but the moment he took that step he felt something soft and squishy touching over his back, kana halted her movement as her facial expression changed drastically seeing someone who is standing behind yohan.

”There you are you cute little thing, I was looking for you this whole time inside this mansion,” a seductive voice resounded in yohanʼs ear along with the warm breath that tickled over his neck, yohan gulped hearing that familiar voice and he felt chill in his entire body, in instant he moved his body and looked behind in surprise.

”lady maria...” he said seeing the woman who is standing in front of him and looking at him in cute smile, kana raised her eyebrows as she heard those words from yohanʼs mouth and she is realized that this is the woman he was talking about earlier, she dont know why but she felt rage in her heart and in instant she grabbed yohanʼs hand and pulled him towards her before taking one step further in the the direction of maria and facing him, seeing this maria shifted her gaze from Yohan to kana and looked her in a calm manner.

”So you are that alchemist who is here to help yohan,”kana said in a cold voice and gave a strong look to maria.

”Indeed I am maria and you must be kana if I am not wrong, I heard a lot of things about you from lady Evelynʼs mouth, itʼs good to see you kana,” maria said with a beautiful smile.

”This is the first time I am meeting you, I have never seen you before, how come I not know you, I almost know every single one of them who are associated with my master”kana exclaimed as she asked skeptically, yohan gulped seeing kana like that, she is giving a completely different vibe seeing maria.

”well you are certainly right, this is the first time you are meeting me and surprisingly this is the first time I came to this place, I never had a chance to come here, so it is normal you had never seen me before”maria responded to kana in gentle manner despite seeing the furiousness on her face.𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

”Is there a reason why my master never mentioned anything related to you, after all the way you speak it seems you know my master very well...”kana raised her eyebrows and shot another question, yohan took a sigh seeing kana and he was about to stop her but before he could do anything he heard a voice.

”just like she said, she donʼt like meeting people, she is one of my oldest acquainted, the last time we met it was hundred years ago that time you were not even born,so you can understand that i never got a chance to introduce her”a figure wearing black robe manifested in thin air and looked kana in a calm manner.

”Master...” Kana whispered in a low voice before taking one step backward seeing Evelyn who appeared in front of her.
