635 The beginning of the river shore city battle

A figure wearing a crimson red robe could be seen descending from the sky and sometimes later he finally placed his foot on the ground and instantly caught the attention of the group of soldiers who were guarding the city gate.

The soldiers trembled in fear seeing that old man approaching them and he was somewhat looking, like someone who belongs to some kind of high faction or clan, his presence alone giving a different aura that is making the surroundings chilly.

The old man looked at those guards and gave them a sharp look who were looking terrified in his presence” Go call elder lin, tell him that commander Kruger is here to see him in person” that old man exclaimed as he looked at those terrified guards of the lin clan who was guarding the gate of the river shore city, his voice was cold and heavy, upon hearing him every single soldier who was presented their took few steps back unconsciously, their faces turned solemn and their soul nearly left their bodies knowing who is that old man is.

”Commander Krueger” every single soldier mutter commander Krugerʼs name in disbelief as they didnʼt understand what is someone like him doing inside this place, there is no one inside the northern region who donʼt know commander Kruger, he is one the of the most powerful commander ever born in the northern region who is also a leader of the platoon called death row that consists too many talented cultivators, he single-handedly won too many battles on the battlefield and crushed too many factions inside the region who tried to revolt against the king, he was one of the trusted commanders king Lucas has inside the royal family.

The old man took a deep sigh as she saw those soldiers, every single one of them was frozen in fear the moment he introduced himself, their bodies donʼt even work at this point seeing that man who is standing like a mountain and giving them a vibe of some kind of ancient beast who is ready to devour anything that came into his path.

”You weak motherfuckers dont you heard commanders words or all of you are deaf,” instant another figure manifested at that place and looked at those soldiers with killing intent.

”You are scaring them, Drago, we are not here to fight, we simply want an audience with elder Lin ʼʼ the old man Kruger gave a stern look to that young man who appeared right beside him.

”Drago...you mean that infamous general Drago from the heavens gate...” One of the soldiers mumbled in shock and looked at the young man who was standing beside the commander Kruger. The man is not looking more than twenty-five years old, he has dark brown eyes and long black hair which is coming to his both shoulders.

”Commander why bother asking these peasants, with our strength alone we can destroy this city from its existence, and when that old man becomes that important, the lin clan is still a trash clan in my eyes,” General Drago frowned his eyes and looked at commander Kruger.

”Calm your anger Drago, like I said we are not here for war, we are here for different business, donʼt you behave like Sabrina, both of you are the loose ends of the squad, who want to do things using your strength,” commander Kruger said in a serious manner.

Hearing his words general Drago clicked his tongue and looked at those soldiers in a furious manner and then shifted his gaze to commander Kruger.

”I understand commander, but these bastards donʼt know their place, they donʼt know who is standing in front of them,” Drago said.

”Itʼs okay they are just a bunch of scared people,” Kruger responded to Drago and then shifted his gaze toward those soldiers.

”Go and give my message to elder Lin that I am here to see him,” commander Kruger said looking at those soldiers, hearing him everyone exchange glances with each other, and a moment later one of the soldiers took a step and confronted the commander Kruger with trembling feet.

”I am sorry, we canʼt convey your message to the elder lin, at this moment the entire lin clan is off limit even for us, no one is allowed to go near the lin clan until you are a member of the elite squad who serves under the Lin clan, and earlier we received our latest orders, from today onwards, no one is allowed to enter inside this city gate nor lin clan is going to host any guests or any messenger until further instructions,” the soldier responded nervously and took a moment to gulp mouthful saliva that is building inside his mouth, he was choking while talking and sweating like a pig in his presence.

”You asshole die for me”

A punch landed on that soldierʼs face instantly blasting him into the city gates.

”Boom”

A loud sound echoed the moment that soldier blasted into the gates.

every single soldier was taken aback by seeing this frightening sight in front of their eyes and all of them looked at Drago in a frightening manner as he just killed a soldier.

”How dare they, a trash clan dare to defy commander Krugerʼs request who serve under the king, this is beyond imagination, did the members of the lin clan finally lose their heads and want to disappear from the face of this world, this is a revolt against the king” general Drago exclaimed in a furious manner.

”What have you done...” commander Kruger said in a cold voice seeing that he just killed someone without giving any thought.

”I just killed a peasant who dared to defy you and defy the authority of the king, that weakling deserves to die” General Drago responded to commander Kruger.

The old man clenched his fist and was about to say something when he felt a presence that caught his attention, in an instant he shifted his gaze in the direction of the city gate where a womanly figure wearing white rob was standing and looking at that dead soldierʼs body ignoring anything else.

General Drago also followed commander Krugerʼs gaze and looked at that beautiful woman, along with the rest of the soldiers.

”Lady diya...” one of the soldier mumbled in a trembling voice seeing the familiar figure and tears started falling from his eyes, he ran in the direction where diya was standing, the other soldiers followed that soldier behind as they came to their senses, every single one of them is recognized diya whom they met a few days ago when she came to receive yohan at the city gate.

”My lady,” every single one of them fell on their knees one by one in front of diya, all of them crying seeing the dead body of their mate who was laying on the ground.

”What was this soldierʼs name?”diya asked as she looked at those soldiers with a different expression, seeing those expressions on diyaʼs face everyone felt despair in their hearts, they remember that night when they tried to stop her from opening the city gate, she has the same expression on her beautiful face now just like that night when she intended to destroy every single thing that is stopping her to meet yohan.
