Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 381: Chapter 82: Astonishing Currency

”The flight can depart in half an hour, but it’s three in the morning now, and the road to that airport is a bit far. Do you need our people to pick you up?”

”Thank you, but I can get there myself.”

”Is that so? Well, have a pleasant journey. The passport is being arranged and someone will give it to you on the plane.”

Su Xiao nodded, this was a personal favor.

”I can help you with something when I return, we’ll discuss the specifics then.”

”Alright, haha, Mr. Su, you’re truly straightforward.”

Su Xiao hung up the phone. The reason he contacted Cleaner was to reach his destination faster. If he traveled on his own, it would take at least ten days. With the help of these people, it’s different; he could reach the destination soon.

Leaving the villa, Su Xiao rode on Bubu Wang’s back. After pointing out the direction, Bubu Wang began to sprint at full speed.

Bubu Wang ran swiftly on a highway, leaving a shadow in the night.

Whoosh~.

Bubu Wang rushed past on the highway, where a group of young men and women were gathered for racing.

The swift airflow blew past, and these young men and women were bewildered.

A girl sitting in a sports car froze, the cigarette in her mouth fell onto her fair thighs.

The girl screamed from the burn, what she saw earlier was too mind-blowing; it seemed like a Siberian Husky had just dashed past.

The girl shook her head, thinking it must be the sleep deprivation causing her hallucinations lately.

The engines roared as these young men and women continued racing, exhilarating like a real-life ”Fast & Furious.”

Su Xiao soon arrived at a small airport, where a Cleaner staff member awaited at the entrance.

”Mr. Su, we’ve been expecting you.”

After greeting each other, Su Xiao boarded a chartered plane.

Once on board, Bubu Wang seemed listless as it hated traveling by vehicle.

...

A day later, the chartered plane reached its destination.

Upon disembarking, a heatwave hit him. Unlike the coolness of the seaside, the temperatures in this country were high.

”Mr. Su, due to some issues, we can only drop you off here. As for the currency issues...”

The Cleaner staff appeared slightly embarrassed, pointing to a few large burlap sacks on the plane.

”What’s this?”

Su Xiao was puzzled, thinking the Cleaner folks were quite extravagant, using sacks for money?

”Mr. Su, this is forty quadrillion Zim dollars, worth about ten thousand RMB.”

”What?”

Su Xiao was stunned; he was in Africa’s Zimbabwe, and his target for revenge was nearby.

”It’s like this, Zimbabwe’s currency system has nearly collapsed, and the flow of other countries’ currencies is quite restricted here. You can guess the specific reasons even without us saying.”

The Cleaner personnel took a Zim dollar from the sack, and upon seeing the denomination, Su Xiao felt incredulous.

”One, ten, hundred, thousand, ten thousand, hundred thousand, million, ten million, hundred million?!”

The Zim dollar in Su Xiao’s hand was valued at 2.5 billion Zim dollars!

If Zimbabweans played a round of Mahjong, a deal involving billions was quite normal.

”Never mind. If nothing goes wrong, I can return in a few days, and I’ll manage the expenses myself during this period.”

Su Xiao stepped out of the chartered plane, and a dilapidated city came into view.

This was Zimbabwe in Africa, where poverty loomed. The average income here was shockingly low, unimaginable levels low.

To the people of the homeland, eating was about daily needs, a mundane affair. But here, having a full meal was a luxury.

Just off the plane, a dozen dark-skinned children ran up, babbling something Su Xiao couldn’t understand.

These children were begging. Whenever someone with yellow skin appeared here, they would approach them, believing those with yellow skin were wealthy.

Su Xiao gave nothing to these children. Sometimes a seemingly kind act could bring numerous troubles, and here, one should not reveal wealth.

Although Su Xiao was strong, he preferred avoiding unnecessary complications.

His destination was the border area of Zimbabwe, a truly lawless zone where warlords roamed, and several armed factions controlled the area.

Walking the streets of Zimbabwe, the law and order seemed decent, not overly chaotic.

After much effort, Su Xiao found a taxi. Due to language barriers, it took a while to reach an agreement with the driver.

Finally, the fare was not currency but a large bag of biscuits.

The Black driver smiled brightly, showcasing pearly white teeth and speaking with a natural rap rhythm, perhaps a racial talent.

The taxi set off, but after reaching the border, no matter how much Su Xiao offered, the driver refused to proceed.

The driver gestured like a gun and pointed at his head, shaking his head constantly, basically implying that firearms were rampant beyond, and he wouldn’t go there.

Reaching here was essentially exiting Zimbabwe’s area, though there was no airport. Su Xiao had to reach Zimbabwe first.

This place had no name, but because of local diamond production, some called it River Xizuan.

After getting off the taxi, Su Xiao could only ride Bubu Teni, advancing for roughly three hours before spotting a small town.

”Finally here. How an African got involved in that incident back then is beyond me.”

This was something Su Xiao could never comprehend, but he had to find the target first before further introspection.

Entering the town ahead, he walked into a dilapidated street.

This was a market, and along its sides were not buildings, but wooden sheds.

What was sold here weren’t vegetables, fruits, or clothes, but all sorts of firearms.

The most common guns in the market were AKs. There were also various automatic rifles but AKs were the most prevalent.

Cartons of ammunition filled the stalls, and some sheds even displayed heavy machine guns, with orange-yellow bullet chains hanging on them.

From this market, the chaos here was apparent, selling weapons was as ordinary as selling vegetables.

Passing through these stalls, the next ones sold more peculiar items: some yellowish earth biscuits.

Su Xiao picked up an earth biscuit and after studying it for a long time, couldn’t guess its purpose.

The vendor seemed to sense Su Xiao’s confusion, took an earth biscuit, bit it, and started munching with a crunch.

So eating dirt was real, not just a joke.

Leaving the dilapidated market, Su Xiao urgently needed a language translator guide, but such guides were not easy to find here.

Su Xiao knew the general location of the target but not the exact spot.
