Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 371: Chapter 72: Magical Power Explosion

”Enhance.”

[You have chosen to enhance Rokushiki: Shave Lv.3, 2000 Paradise coins have been spent.]

After Su Xiao paid the Paradise coins, the surroundings turned dark, and a figure made of white light appeared in front of him.

The figure bent down, executing a perfect Shave. The body of the figure was semi-transparent, and as it exerted force, a red energy appeared within the figure, allowing Su Xiao to clearly see the transmission of power.

Not only was there a demonstration by the figure, but knowledge about Shave also flowed into Su Xiao’s mind, rapidly increasing his understanding of it.

A few minutes later, the surrounding darkness disappeared.

[Rokushiki: Shave has been upgraded to Lv.4.]

The change from the skill upgrade by one level was not obvious. Su Xiao had accumulated a total of 76,864 Paradise coins in the Pirate World. He decided to upgrade Shave to full level to see if any change would occur.

If nothing unexpected happens, Shave is supposed to undergo some qualitative change after reaching full level.

Spending Paradise coins, the level of Shave increased rapidly.

[Rokushiki: Shave has been upgraded to Lv.5.]

[Rokushiki: Shave has been upgraded to Lv.6.]

[Rokushiki: Shave has been upgraded to Lv.7.]

...

The Paradise coins decreased quickly, making Su Xiao feel pained, but he needed to upgrade Shave to full level, thus acquiring a means to rapidly approach enemies.

Two hours later, Su Xiao looked pale, the maximum level of Shave was somewhat beyond his expectations.

[Rokushiki: Shave has been upgraded to Lv.11.]

[Rokushiki: Shave has been upgraded to Lv.12.]

[Rokushiki: Shave has been upgraded to Lv.13.]

...

As the level of Shave was upgraded, Su Xiao’s comprehension of it grew deeper, as if he had been practicing it for decades.

[Rokushiki: Shave has been upgraded to Lv.20!]

[Rokushiki: Shave has been upgraded to full level, additional rewards are obtained, Hunter can choose one from the following options.]

1. Overload: Reduces Shave’s usage interval, Shave’s moving speed decreases by 40%.

2. Free Runner: Reduces the impact of harsh terrain on Shave when using it.

3. Rapid Walker: Shortens execution time by 50%, Shave’s moving speed increases by 300%, usage interval increases by 3000%.

Three options, three different development directions. The first one features a short interval, but with slower movement speed, suitable for Ranged Contractors to flee.

The second option allows the use of Shave regardless of terrain, such as forests or mountains.

The third option is quite controversial, with noticeable enhancements but equally noticeable drawbacks.

Increasing the execution time by 50% makes Shave more surprising, and increasing moving speed by 300% makes Shave incredibly fast.

But the last point made Su Xiao a bit hesitant, which was the 3000% increase in usage interval.

If calculated according to the current situation, after enhancement by 3000%, he could use Shave roughly once every ten minutes.

Faced with two choices, should he choose continuous use with reduced moving speed, or enhance Shave to the maximum at the cost of usage interval?

After hesitating for a long time, Su Xiao chose the third option, Rapid Walker.

[You have chosen ’Rapid Walker’, Rokushiki: Shave has changed accordingly.]

Although this would lead to a longer usage interval for Shave, Su Xiao’s purpose in learning Shave was not to jump around in combat, as that was not his combat style.

His main purpose for learning Shave was to approach enemies quickly, as once he got close, everything would be easier.

Checking the attributes of Shave, the Lv.20 Shave had undergone significant changes.

[Rokushiki: Shave: Lv.20 (Active Skill)]

Skill Effect: Move forward at ultra-high speed for 2-50 meters, with moving speed reaching the maximum the body can withstand during the process.

Tip: Each use of Shave consumes 50 Stamina Value, with a cooldown of ten minutes.

Tip: During movement, direction can be corrected or stopped.

...

Leaving the Skill Upgrading Warehouse, Su Xiao looked at the door of the Skill Upgrade Hall.

”Shave.”

With a swoosh, the surrounding Contractors only felt a black shadow flash by, unable to clearly see Su Xiao’s figure.

Standing outside the Skill Upgrade Hall, Su Xiao was very satisfied with Shave.

The activation time was short, and the speed was extremely fast, his Dynamic Vision barely able to keep up. If he used this move to approach a Mage, the Mage would not be able to react at all.

So far, Su Xiao could be called a Mage Killer, and in future encounters with Mages, he would rush forward with a single slash. He believed those Mages would be dumbfounded, but the premise of all this is that the two parties are hostile, as he is not someone who mindlessly attacks others.

Returning to his exclusive room, Su Xiao still had many things to do. He took out a few Soul Crystals and the [Great Sword Master’s Swordsmanship Insights].

First, picking up a small Soul Crystal, Su Xiao wanted to enhance the Blue Steel Shadow Ability.

The Blue Steel Shadow had already reached Lv.9, and previously he had a premonition that the Blue Steel Shadow would undergo a significant change after reaching Lv.10.

Holding a small Soul Crystal in his hand, it shattered, and he also spent 1000 Paradise coins.

[Blue Steel Shadow has been upgraded to Lv.10!]

[As Blue Steel Shadow has reached Lv.10, the ’Controller’ ability is unlocked.]

Su Xiao temporarily didn’t look at the Reincarnation Paradise’s prompts, as the Blue Steel Shadow Energy within him was rapidly changing.

After enhancing attributes, his Mana Value had reached 893 points, and in less than three seconds, his Mana Value was drained, all transformed into Blue Steel Shadow Energy.

The Blue Steel Shadow Energy circulated within Su Xiao, quickly coalescing and compressing in a special way.

Sharp pain emanated from his chest, and Su Xiao pressed one hand to his chest with tightly furrowed brows.

The sharp pain lasted for half an hour before subsiding. Su Xiao was covered in cold sweat, and when the pain disappeared, half of the Blue Steel Shadow Energy within was reduced.

More accurately, the Blue Steel Shadow Energy was not reduced, but compressed.

Su Xiao immediately checked the attributes of the Blue Steel Shadow.

Blue Steel Shadow: LV.10 (Active Skill)

Usage Condition: When Blue Steel Shadow is activated, Hunter consumes 1-30 Mana Value per minute, the consumption amount can be freely controlled, and it automatically deactivates when Mana Value is below 1%.

Skill Effect: When Blue Steel Shadow is activated, each close combat attack will burn 5-50 Mana Value from the enemy, causing an equal amount of True Damage, and the enemy will suffer from severe pain after Mana burn. (The amount of Mana burned from the enemy and the True Damage caused depend on the Hunter’s Mana Value consumed per minute.)

Tip: If Hunter consumes 30 Mana Value per minute when Blue Steel Shadow is activated, the Blue Steel Shadow Energy operation will reach its peak. After maintaining the peak for 10 minutes, the Hunter will acquire the Magical Power Explosion Effect. The next attack will cause True Damage equivalent to 60% of the Mana Value consumed by the enemy. (For example, if the enemy has consumed 100 Mana Value, it will cause 60 True Damage.)

Tip: The cooldown time for Magical Power Explosion is 48 hours.

...

The Blue Steel Shadow could be said to have undergone a transformation, its power freely controllable. More importantly, after Su Xiao fully activated Blue Steel Shadow for ten minutes, he would gain the Magical Power Explosion Effect, making that slash extremely terrifying, combining Basic Attack + Blade Damage + Blue Steel Shadow Damage + Magical Power Explosion Damage.

If a Mage Lord had just battled fiercely with an enemy, and Su Xiao happened to fully activate Blue Steel Shadow for ten minutes, it would definitely result in a one-hit kill, with no need for a second strike.

With the rapid enhancement in strength, Su Xiao’s face showed a hint of delight, but Blue Steel Shadow was not the main highlight; those three Soul Crystals (Medium) and the [Great Sword Master’s Swordsmanship Insights] were the main highlight.
