Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

All sorts of confused voices echoed around.

Julia and the others walked over and picked up the puppet girls they had each made with their hair.

Alka, Simon, and others couldn’t help but walk over to pick up and inspect the puppet girls one by one.

The puppet girls, looking dazed, just clung onto the group.

Everyone had no choice but to gather around the box.

They began to comfort the puppet girls.

Alka could clearly feel that they had gained consciousness, something he had never seen before.

The puppet girls’ thoughts were filled with panic, confusion, and bewilderment.

Everyone comforted the girls they were closest to, as if they were dealing with a group of emotionally unstable children.

After quite some time, they seemed to get used to their entirely different bodies, still as puppets, able to perform incredibly human actions.

But their minds were different.

Their perception of the world had changed, they seemed to have developed a sense of smell, deeper emotions.

Their views of the world had also altered.

”Something feels strange here,” a puppet girl said, pressing her hands against her stomach.

”Hmm... it feels kind of empty, my body feels soft.”

”That’s called being hungry,” Chadite explained, patting her head.

The puppet girl, still in a daze: ”So this is what being hungry feels like?”

”Then I’m hungry too.”

”Can I eat the things you ate before?”

”Are those things delicious?”

”I want to eat that white thing, the one with flowers on top!”

”Oh, I also...”

Upon realizing this sensation was called hunger, the puppet girls who had never experienced hunger or eating began to shout one after another.

Seeing such a large number of puppet girls,

Juanlu stood by the side, feeling out of place with the rest of the group.

Because he suddenly thought of a serious problem.

There were a total of 72 puppet girls, calculating precisely, they would need at least the food for seven people.

And their exact appetite was unknown, it might be even more.

This meant his workload had increased.

Thinking of this, he couldn’t help but grab Simon’s collar and drag him aside.

”Did you give them the ability to eat?”

Simon, looking perplexed at Juanlu’s expression, nodded: ”Of course, letting them eat like real people was essential. So I used my genius invention, which can entirely convert what they eat into energy or magic power, they don’t even need to excrete.

Although I think excretion is also an important human experience, so I thought about adding this feature later.”

At this point, he felt a bit proud.

Their conversation was obviously overheard by everyone around.

Chadite came over without hesitation and punched Simon on the head.

Directly opting for violence.

”Please do not add this feature, dismiss this damned idea.”

Simon rubbed his head, bewildered, looking at Chadite, then at the disapproving stares of everyone around.

After thinking briefly, he conceded: ”Okay, actually I also find this feature unnecessary, sometimes I also think it’s a hassle.

It would be nice if they didn’t need to excrete.”

As soon as he finished, Juanlu loosened his grip on Simon and sighed, patting his shoulder helplessly: ”Let’s just keep this feature.”

Alka noticed Juanlu’s predicament and jokingly said: ”Trust me, some of them are definitely interested in culinary arts, like those who’ve been sneaking glances while you cook.”

Hearing this, Juanlu’s eyes lit up, and he gave Alka a hearty pat on the shoulder.

”Great, great idea, you’re a genius.”

Having some puppet girls’ help would definitely speed up his cooking, and perhaps offer more interesting inspirations.

Previously, teaching the Vastva people to cook gave him a rare sense of interest.

Teaching others to cook gave him a great sense of accomplishment, especially when the dishes prepared had the learners’ own touch.

The collision of ideas can spark more creativity.

He couldn’t help but imagine what kind of food the puppet girls could create, having never been exposed to it, or what thoughts they might have about food.

”Judging by his expression, I think your suggestion might have hit a snag,” Lucilia whispered to Alka, floating beside him.

”Yes, I do have a bad premonition about this.”

Because now seeing Juanlu’s unstoppable stream of thoughts flowing out, even without understanding it fully, it was evident.

Ever since he could see thoughts, this kind of thinking meant Juanlu was about to experiment with some bizarre recipes.

He had managed to avoid disasters in the past using this ability.

Doomed.
