Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

They spent the entire day guarding up there, taking this time to rest a bit and rejuvenate their minds.

It’s a matter of doing everything in one’s power.

So seeing him appear on the deck during meals and shifts was truly quite surprising.

”Hit a bottleneck?” Alka asked.

Simon shook his head: ”Hmm, the magic power concentration inside the world is too low, some experiments simply don’t meet the requirements, so I’ll definitely have to work on them in the manufacturing room afterwards.”

Alka nodded: ”Did the research on space layering fail?”

”That’s right, trying to expand a space layer on the sea and on the ship is almost impossible.

The environment of the Endless Sea is too unstable, not to mention our ship is constantly moving. Only on Landmark Island and its chain of islands can a space layer possibly be created.

Space is a bit more stable in such places.”

Hearing this, Alka could only sigh, lamenting the missed opportunity.

The technology of space layering is actually quite beneficial; with it, Alka and the others wouldn’t need to worry about the lack of space on the ship.

Although they aren’t worried for now.

But having it would make things a bit more convenient, especially since entering Alka’s space requires either a fixed location.

Or being within a certain vicinity around Alka to freely enter.

Just like the space stored inside the Heart of Vastva, though that’s not the reality.

”What about space expansion technology?” Alka thought to ask, as such technology would be more practical for a sailing ship.

Space expansion technology expands the space on the ship, making its internal space much larger than it appears externally.

This technology is undoubtedly very suitable for ships.

”Still under research, this technology is even more complex than space layering, and recreating it presents some challenges.”

Alka nodded, suddenly producing an hourglass in his hand, observing the time scale on it: ”It’s about to start, let’s go over.”

Simon nodded, and he and Alka left the deck together.

After vanishing from the deck, the two appeared in the space world.

Directly appearing in the remaining city, or perhaps describing it as a small town would be more fitting.

The remaining buildings of Vastva City were far better compared to when they first arrived. In addition to these buildings, the Vastva people’s complexion had significantly improved.

If they once looked like refugees, now they seemed like people living normal lives.

Feeling their weak bodies were restored, not filled with despair as before.

They approached the research temple.

Many people were gathered outside at that moment, rather than in the laboratory.

They could see a window standing at the center, next to which stood a Vastva person.

This Vastva person was dressed in extremely heavy armor, giving the impression of something akin to an astronaut suit.

A pipe was connected behind him, linking to a machine. You could see the pipe left quite a bit of extra length.

Even Chadite, Juan Luo, and others were watching nearby.

Matilda was mainly responsible, and among them, any experiments on helping Vastva people adapt to the external environment and enhance their magic resistance were her responsibility.

Alka and Simon came over and stood directly with Chadite and others.

”Is it starting again?”

”Soon, just doing the final adjustments.”

Hearing this, Alka looked toward the center.

The purpose of this experiment was actually to use equipment to allow Vastva people to temporarily live outside.

Mainly because getting them to completely adapt to the outside magic power concentration truly requires a significant amount of time.

Currently, the Vastva people can adapt to a magic power concentration around 0.3, and this has only taken a few months.

Of course, as things go up, things become increasingly challenging.

The Vastva people could not adapt from 0.01 initially to reaching 0.28, taking less than a month overall.

But from 0.28 to 0.3, this brief increase took over two months, and now even a 0.01 increase presents difficulties.

It requires sufficient time.

For instance, in the entire Vastva City world, the magic power concentration has risen from nearly nonexistent to about 0.25.

It certainly wouldn’t go straight to the limit that these people can tolerate, considering the elderly and children among them.

Their resistance is not as high as that of normal, robust adults.

Now they can live normally in such a magic power environment.

To simplify the calculations, a normal ordinary person in a world like Homeland Sea would have a magic power concentration roughly around 0.5.

In Homeland Sea, magic power is less complex and doesn’t have the violent nature of the Endless Sea.

Plus, with deliberate suppression by the Holy Mother, it seems the magic power concentration isn’t high.

In other words, the Vastva people’s resistance isn’t as strong as normal humans.

Not to mention adapting to the violent magic power of the Endless Sea.

So everyone imagines whether there might be a way to allow Vastva people to temporarily live outside.

Letting some people understand outside life first, giving them a higher concept of the outside world.

As they pondered, the experiment began.

A Door of Space opened to the outside world, showing the location placed was indeed Alka’s ship.
